We did the SNAP program it was beneficial. It was during COVID so things were a little different than normal from what we understand but they were doing the best they could. John and Myrna are wonderful people. I think they have both been there for years and years and thank goodness for them! You can tell they truly care.

This place is a joke. Seriously! DCF took my child there knowing it wasnt a place for mentamen ill child. We walk into this place and environment and mouths on these kids were sickening. Kids screaming at staff. The staff broke HIPPA laws. And when I had a panic attack there 1 staff member told me to smoke a joint and take some pills because thats what his girlfriend does. My husband and I begged DCF to help us and all they did was treat my husband and like criminals. My daughter was terrified to go there, she begged them not to take her there and to take her to Palm point where she felt safe. They ignored hers and our request to get her into Palm point so she could safe. Both DCF and crosswinds Is a joke.

Awesome people, and things they do with the parents and kids.

As a shelter they are a great facility. But if you are looking for counseling for your youth they are unwilling to deal with a unreceptive teen.

This place does so much for the youth community there isnt enough space here to mention it all, but they deserve all of your support.
