We had a leak in our master bathroom window, and a leak in our guest bedroom ceiling. We had several companies come in and gave us estimates that were overpriced. PenWin Windows came in and gave usa fair price. Not only did they fix those items, but they fixed a few other things that was needed in our upkeep in our home. They repaired, plastered, and painted our walls back to looking brand new, and recaughed our attic fan which was causing the leak in our guest room. They also came out to fix the problems in 2 days which is unbelievable in this day and time.
Highly recommend this company for any of your home care needs! My home desperately needed a new roof and it was a relief to work with such a responsive company. Horace provided excellent customer service and, most of all, I love my new roof...
100% satisfied with my new roof. They gave a thorough presentation and it was done in a few days. Definitely will use them again when Im ready to replace windows.

On 4/14/2016 Darren came out to give me an estimate on a window I needed to have replaced. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Since it was only one window he said that they could have the job completed in about 2 weeks. I gave him my deposit and he said someone would call me in a few days to come take the measurements. Well a few days turned into a week. I called the main line and spoke with Horace he apologized and stated someone would be contacting me soon. Another week goes by and still no one calls me. At this point the 2 week time frame that they stated they could have the work completed is no longer true so I call the main number back and ask to speak with someone. I leave a message for Horace to contact me but since Id already decided to go with another company I decided to call Darren. I leave a message to call me back and within 10 minutes he calls me back. I told him that no one had contacted me and that I wanted to go with another company. He tells me that they were just about to have someone call me and come the next day to complete the measurements. Mind you its after 5p so I highly doubt that this is true and I tell him so. He then begins to say that the issue is that they already ordered a window for me. How!? I tell him that makes no sense because they have not taken any measurements let alone contacted me. He tried to convince to stay with them and I told him that I would just prefer a refund. He then told me he would have Horace to contact me. The next day Im expecting a call from Horace which never comes. So at this point Im getting irritated. I call the main number again and leave another message stating that if I had not received a call on the next business day by 12p I would be contacting the BBB. This was on a Friday. On Sunday evening I receive a call from Darren stating that he spoke with Horace and I would be receiving a refund. I thanked him since he was the only person that had been professional from this company. I thought everything was finished and I would just wait for my refund in the mail I was promised the refund on 5/1 but apparently the check that was issued got lost in the mail. On5/29 Horace calls me apologize about all the issues I have been having. He actually hand delivers a check to my home and offered to do whatever he could to correct the problem. It took a while but my issue was resolved.

- Updated at the bottomThe initial experience with the salesman was good. He was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. The installation crew was great! They were fast, neat, polite, and professional. They even explained the process to my inquisitive daughter. From then on it went downhill. The date for install was never given, I had to call them multiple times to get them to schedule it. Then the screen that came with the door was broken. The installation crew apologized and immediately called the office to have them order a new one (score another point for the installation crew). That was over 2 months ago. I made calls to find out what was going on, but they ended in apologies and empty promises, I made texts and only got more empty promises. Nothing so far is getting them to actually install the screen. Maybe negative reviews will get them interested in giving us what we paid for.- Update: After posting this negative review, we were told the replacement screen would be in by that weekend. It was not. So the following week I called and requested a refund for the screen door. I was told it would be put in the mail that day.. 1 week later I called them again and they said it would be put in the mail, along with a gift card. Finally, almost another week later, I have gotten the refund for the screen and a gift card for Panera. This entire thing started in the spring, and is finally done.While I think it could have been a great experience, if they had followed through, I am saddened to see that it took a negative review to get their attention. However, as they did finally send my refund, I have upgraded the stars from a 1, to a 2 star rating.
