Just have to take a moment and absolutely commend Tomahawk Professional Services for assisting and responding to a call after the lower level of our home suffered immense water damage from a pipe that developed a hole in it. Tom, the owner, was on our premises within 1 hour of our call and he immediately addressed the problem at hand, setup his equipment to start drying out everything to prevent mold (walls, and newly laid carpet), as well as gutting the room that suffered the worst of the damage. He kept us up to date every step of the way, informing us of the potentials of what can and cant happen due to what we went through all while dealing with our insurance company to handle his portion of the claim. He even went out of his way to contact outside vendors to address other issues we needed mending due to the pipe break and really just made this process as easy possible on us, even when we were beyond frustrated given the circumstances we were dealing with amidst a global pandemic. Thats another thing... Tom was suited up with masks and gloves during his entire time on our premises ensuring he stayed safe as well as ourselves. Cant recommend this company enough. We hope we never have to call them again but if we did... there would be no other person worth contacting than him and his team. THANK YOU TOMAHAWK!

I came across Tomahawk on Instagram and noticed they were local. We needed our office space carpet freshened up from stains and traffic. I received a quote and hired them for the job. Tom and his crew were a pleasure to meet.They were able to accommodate us before the office closed on Friday. The job was well done and carpets looked new and fresh. My mothers washing machine overflowed 2 days before Christmas. It was 9 pm and her basement was flooded. Being from out of town, I did not know who to call, Luckily my Google search led me to Tomahawk. Tom was at my mothers house within 30 minutes and he stayed until close to midnight to extract the flood water and set up the drying fans. He was professional and thorough, and very kind. He made sure the cleanup was complete, including moving things out of the basement and applying anti-mold treatment. I could not have asked for better service. Lucky for me I called Tomahawk!! Sam Birdbath is a Gmail moniker. In fact, I’m an attorney in Nutley. Tom of Tomahawk responded promptly to a nasty sewer back up at my commercial building. He explained every step of the cleanup and remediation process. His equipment was well-maintained and very clean. The process took hours during which time the effluent was removed and all the problem areas were power washed and disinfected. He wore all appropriate hazmat gear. A dehumidifier and filter were placed and will remain in the basement for four days. The price was reasonable for Tom’s high level of professionalism, friendliness and service. I highly recommend Tom if you want the job done right.

I had my sewer line cleaned in my basement. The company that preformed the work made a huge mess allowing sewer waste to cover my basement floor ! I called Tomahawk Professional Services, I was expecting an answering service as it was a Friday night after working hours. I was pleasantly surprised to have the phone call taken by the owner Tom Hawyrlko himself ! Tom explained to me the importance of having such a spill cleaned up immediately. Within two hours a team including Tom were in my basement . They worked diligently, removing items from the floor, cleaning them and putting them up to dry on shelves. The floors were cleaned and disinfected, equipment was put in place to clean the air and dry the room. I couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism preformed by this company ! Our experience was terrific, start to finish. We got estimates from a few different places, and Tomahawk was the clear choice from the start. Tom is a pleasure to talk with, very down to earth, and he answered every one of our questions. Tomahawk has saved my home and health multiple times. Twice now (in two different homes), we have had unknowingly had water issues that caused mold growth. The first time has a small leak in an upstairs bathroom drain. I had been coughing for months and finally, one day, my wife came home to a mushroom growing out of our living room ceiling. We immediately called Tomahawk. Tom came by and quickly found the root of the problem. He removed all of the affected material, cleaned the area, and helped us find a plumber to fix the leak. Years later, in our new home, the same dry cough returned and lasted for a few months. During a strong storm, my wife heard drips in our kitchen. The plywood of our roof had rotted around our chimney and water had been slowly dripping into our attic. Again, we called Tom and he came the same day. He found the source of the leak and more mold. He set up equipment in our attic until we could get a new roof and he could treat the area. Tomahawk is an incredible company and we wouldnt trust the clean up of our home to anyone else!

My carpet had worn out, dirty areas from my dog. Tom worked on it longer than he originally estimated but still honored the original price. It came out better than I imagined! Ive already recommended Tom to all my friends and family.

Hurricane Irene and Sandy caused my basement to flood with several inches of water. We got the water up and did our best to clean, but there was a distinct basement smell that stayed long after. I became uncomfortable with the smell after a while and decided to call Tomahawk for a consultation. They came over and assessed the problem right away; black mold behind the walls. At that point the mold was so bad that cleaning it was not an option, they had to cut the mold out of the walls. They got started right away and finished construction in less than a day. I got back from work that night as they were putting out the trash and was not only impressed with how quickly they worked, but how the solution that they provided wasnt too drastic or bogus; as soon as the mold was cut, the smell was gone. They sprayed mold killing chemicals for any mold that may have been leftover and used a machine to clean the air afterwards, so the whole process took about 3 days. For the work that they did and the decent sized basement that I have, the price was beyond reasonable. If my basement happens to flood again I now know to leave it alone and just let the professionals handle it. Thanks Tomahawk!

Told me he could save the carpet and did it. Even cleaned the thing to make it look brand new again (and took the impressions out from chairs which surprised me). Saved me a ton of money too.
