Ive been living here for 2 years and have witnessed much progress. During my stay at 3719 Kennedy the building changed management company and things took a turn for the better-the heating system was replaced, before the hot water was irregular, that problem was fixed. They are renovating the old apartments in the building and things are changing for good. I live in one of the renovated apartment. It has stove, microwave and dishwasher.In the two years I never had any external problems. It is a very safe and convenient place. Every month they have extermination for your apartment who are very prompt. The service request are attended on time and fixed. Management is very friendly and they are always ready to help you. They are working hard to make it a better place than years ago. It is located in a very convenient location. Bus stop is in front of the apartment.

The Apartment which we stay was really nice. Most of the shops are near by from the apt which is very convenient. The appliances and amenities are also great. Our super was very good and attentive and easy to get a hold of. They did a great job keeping hallways clean and taking care of disposal. Get in touch with Dave. He is so good and very nice person.

I rented a 1 bedroom at 26 Weldon st, jersey city from them and never had any problems. I highly recommend the management and the property. The house is brand new with all brand new appliances.The heat and hot water is included in the rent.The management is very prompt in returning calls and messages. Best Part is that the apartment is near to journal square and all different grocery stores.I would recommend this property and management to everyone.

I have been a tenant for a year and a half, and I dont have anything negative to say about the management. If I have a problem with some issues in the apt, an email and I always get a quick response, and the issue gets fixed within a day or two. It has always been easy!My interactions with the management regarding the renewal has also been most convenient and easy.Overall, the management has been most understanding in my case and I have only good things to say about them and the apartment.

I lived at the 2729 John F Kennedy Boulevard building for more than 2 years and the apartment and my stay was great! Whenever I had problems the buildings super - Carlos was very helpful. And the things that he couldnt take care of was forwarded to the management and they helped out quickly. My refrigerator had stopped working and the management sent a new one soon and they were very accommodating on several other requests. Dave and Ari were very helpful as well.

Ive been living in 2102 Kennedy Blvd union city NJ for a year had a great experience. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe takes 15min to NYC and bus stop right out front. The apartment is great size for the cost with heat and hot water included. Best apartment you can get for how close to NYC and price. The super attend is always very friendly and hard working. Moving because of my job location has changed

My stay has been very good so far and the Management has also been very kind to us.I am leaving the apartment because i need to move to bigger one than what i have currently otherwise i havent faced any issue. They also have allowed me to vacant the apartment before lease end date without any impact to my security amount and I am very thankful to them.Thank you River Edge for being so nice to us.

Been a tenant for 3 years now in west new york. Building had some issues with security and management took it very seriously immediately installing surveillance cameras and setting up better locks on the front door. feel much safer now. They are very responsive and do all they can to make me comfortable. A+++ Brian is also the best and most personable manager.

I am staying in a flat owned by River Edge management since last 3 years and I have very good things to say about River edge management, my personal experience with them is very good, Whenever I had any issues with my rented flat (i.e. maintenance, replacing taps), they behaved very professionally and email was answered quickly following by prompt Super Visit. My flat was well renovated and all the appliance were new and pretty good in shape. I am leaving the place as I am moving out of the country otherwise would have continued my engagement with them. I will highly recommend to take the flat on rent with this management due to their professionalism and prompt helping behavior. Flats are also renovated with all the needful appliances within it. my rating is 4.8 out of 5 for them.

We were tenants for 3 years. The place was newly renovated and looked fantastic for our move-in day. The appliances and amenities are also great. Our super was very attentive and easy to get a hold of. They did a great job keeping hallways clean and taking care of disposal. I have lived in one of their apartment in Union City for a year and i have great things to say about my experience in renting in their facility. My apartment is in a great location never had a problem with my apartment nor any infestation. The super was always helpful and always try to solve any problem always had once a month a exterminator reach out if i needed any service lucky never did. The management was quick to respond and reachable by email for any questions and try to resolve my problem. Thank you!

If you want to rent t an apartment with this people be prepared to lose your deposit. Dont expect to get your deposit back when you leave. Add to that, the unit is too small compared to other locations in the area. I was new to the area and didnt know where to shop. Most of the tenants last only a year till they realize what they got themselves into

I have been a tenant, for about a year and a half, in one of their apartments within a mile of Journal Square (exact location redacted for my privacy). The management company has been nothing but wonderful to me! Any time I had maintenance needs they assisted very promptly (within 24-48hrs) and theyve accommodated me in a couple of unexpected scenarios (rush move-in and lease adjustments). The apartment I moved into was a brand new renovation and I was impressed by the quality of the construction. Im very thankful for the staffs responsiveness and would happily rent with River Edge again!

Ive been leasing with Rivers Edge since 2012 and have no complaints. The management is great to work with. Theyre responsive to tenant needs and concerns, accessible (you dont have to go through a ton of red tape to get an actual person on the phone) and most importantly, theyre always friendly. Highly recommend.

Ive been living in a Riveredge Management owned building for almost two years - we love the apt and the location - and the management is always very responsive. If we ever move from the area we are in we would consider renting with them again. The overall experience is great and so far there have been no issues that havent been fixed in a decent time frame.

I have been tenant here for more than a year and believe me this is one of best management people i have interacted with. You can contact them by email or phone and they will respond to your concern very quickly. They will make sure that your concern is resolved to your satisfaction.My building has its own Supr. and and if I need any maintenance related help, I just call the guy and he shows up within minutes with all equipment.Very clean and well maintained place to stay near all public transport and grocery stores!!!!

Have been staying in their apt in Jersey city for three years now, rents are reasonably priced for the location.Apartment was renovated when we moved in.Never had any issues with the management,Maintenance issues are usually addressed promptly as the super lives in the apt. It was easy to commute to NYC, with access to lots of schools,colleges and doctor offices located nearby.

They are awful stayed home last week,so they can fix my light in the kitchen and sink still didnt come to do the job, I dont know what is the problem, I take off work lost out on money and hours. They are really bad with communication also, say they call dont call wants you to wait all day and you have other plans like going to work so you would not be late and your manager calls you in the office have to explain why so you can keep your job.Then wants the rent paid on time how does that sound .

I can speak from a long time of dealing with River Edge. 5 years to be exact. I am pretty easy going and like things simple. I can email or call them if I have an issue and I pay my rent online which I love. I honestly lucked out as this is the first place I live in this area moving up from South Jersey. Dave is the guy I worked with and hes been cool since day 1. I would live in another River Edge place in a heart beat! Thanks for the help seriously.

We have been living here 3149 Kennedy bluvd for more than 2 years and have observed much progress. the It is a very safe and convenient for all aspects.They are keep renovating the old apartments in the building and things are changing for good. I have been living in one of the renovated apartment. Every time I called the office yes I had to leave a message but got a call back within 45 minutes. “Dave” has been a great help.The place is more convenient for the people who works in New York., Bus stop is in front of the apartment.

We stayed at their property @ 417, 33rd Street, Union City. The apartment is very conveniently located close to the Shopping district and to public transit. We can get to NY Port authority and to anywhere in NJ. Its very affordable property with laundry and grocery stores right opposite. Our Super Enriques was very Friendly and attentive and easy to get a hold of. They also did a great job keeping hallways clean and taking care of garbage disposal. Dave from management is very friendly and helpful in getting lease and rent payment related queries resolved...All in all, I would recommend River Edge Management for people looking at getting into affordable, no frills, trouble free accommodation.

Worst management company ever. Ive been in and out of the court system for non-payment of rent when I was literally 10 days late. All this management company cares about is money. I spent the entire winter without heat with a newborn baby in the house. I eventually had to call the mayor of Union City to get them to fix the heat. The reason I didnt have heat was such a simple fix it angered me even more when it took the guy 5 minutes to fix. They expect you to pain the entire apartment when you move out and they expect written notice by certified mail 2 months prior to your lease expiring so I have now been in a one bedroom with three people for the last year because I missed their 2 month grace period by one day. Its like being in an abusive relationship they made me stay there for the past year all while trying to evict me every time I was a little behind, the last time they brought me to court they charged me $350 in legal/court fees over $90.00 past due (which I still have no idea where the balance came from). When you call you get an answering service, the management company may or may not call you back. Everyone I have talked to hates this management company. PLEASE read all the reviews and take them seriously, I would hate for anyone else to go through what my family has gone though with this awful management company.

I have been living in a property managed by River Edge for almost 1 year now. If I had known then what I know now, I would have never rented this unit. I live on the top floor and ever since the 2nd week Ive lived here, the frame of my bedroom window leaks during moderate to heavy rain. I have been in touch with the Super who sent someone to caulk the frame, only for it to leak again during the next heavy rain storm. The management company will not even send someone to fix the roof itself. After I threatened to withhold paying my rent, did they send someone to re-caulk the frame of my window. They informed me that someone would be looking at the roof, but theyve yet to give me a timeline as to when this will take place. I have 2 more months here and I am leaving ASAP. These people are the worse excuse for human beings. My next step is to contact the building inspector to inform them of the problems I am having. Fortunately for me, I have been emailing them so I have a paper trail which clearly states my concerns. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I truly regret having done so.

The rent was affordable and i was able to save some money...the super was there when i needed it solving everything very quickly. overall a good experience.

8/5/2014This is the worst management company around DO NOT RENT WITH THEM. The lease they make you sign is completely anti-tenant and everything is on you. They even charge a repainting fee for the apartment if you move out before 3 years. Every other place Ive ever lived in automatically repaints themselves you just need to take care of damages. I left this place completely undamaged and they charged me $650 to repaint. Also they dont care if their buildings are full of bed bugs. Worst living experience Ive ever had.

My experience with Riveredge property management has been really good. Starting right from the day I signed the lease, getting anything done has been a breeze. I had rented a 1 bedroom in Jersey City and never had any problems. Whenever I needed some work done, I just called the building repairman and have always been serviced within the day. The management does a really good job with communication, and have always responded to any questions I had within a business day and are always more than eager to help. I have lived with 4 different management companies in NJ in the past and Riveredge are way ahead of the others. I highly recommend this management company.

Riveredge Management has offered me such a great experience while residing as a tenant in the West New York location. I was able to commute to NYC on a daily basis. All my neighbors were respectful. The super in the building was simply amazing and so helpful. Riveredge Management is considerate to their tenants and always call back if ever needed within a 24 hour time frame. I am moving on to live closer to my job, but this past year has allowed me to achieve my working professional needs and establishment in order to grow as a young professional. There are shops and restaurants nearby. One of the great things about living in New Jersey and working in NYC is that honestly we have the better view from the NJ side especially along Boulevard East! What a great place to be! To run, to walk, to commute, and to live.

Ive been a tenant for over four years now and I havent had any major problems! For small problems the super has been able to solve same day, ie hot water in the kitchen slowed to a trickle, and after the valve was replaced it was fixed!My apartment is bright and spacious, located in a good area, and the rent is very reasonable. Friends and coworkers who live in more expensive areas are always impressed when they see the space and learn how much I pay for it. So far Ive had rent increases every other year for 1.3% or less of the total rent, very minimal.I was so fortunate to find this place and I havent considered moving. Definitely recommend!

I rented a 1 bedroom in jersey city at journal square from them and never had any problems. I highly recommend the management and the property. The house is brand new with all brand new appliances. The house is well lit with lot of lighting fixtures. The Super that they have (marcos) is extremely helpful and comes in on a very short notice to fix any issues (very few issues for us though). The heat and hot water is included in the rent and i must say the heating is fabulous, it really warms up the apartment and is always running. Similar is the case with the hot water. The management is very prompt in returning calls and messages. Special mention for Dave at Riveredge Management, he assisted me with everything I needed during my lease with them. Dave was very helpful to me and provide prompt customer service. I would recommend this property and management to everyone.

River edge management is very responsible to their tenants. We constantly receive mails and notices of apartments updates, showing them preparing things in advance. Super of my building fulfills his duties and manages things effectively, he literally could be reached at any time. Ive never worried about heat, water or anything else when living here. Dave from river edge management office(?) always replies emails quickly and actively helps tenants with all kinds of requests. Every season they would send inspector to check the apartment, and Ive seen them doing a good job at complete renovation after someones moving out. All in all I would recommend people whore looking for apts in this area to choose river edge management.

My experience with Riveredge Management began September of 2014. I moved into a newly renovated unit and was the first to use all of the appliances. Whenever I needed assistance with lighting and ac unit installation and other minor adjustments here and there just to makes sure the apartment was exactly what I wanted, I could call on the building super who would immediately reply. Throughout my lease, I truly felt as though my any request was answered and would recommend that any one looking in the New Jersey area rest assured with the service the Riveredge Management offers.

I stayed in 38 broadway. It was a fully renovated house and when I saw it I selected without giving a second thought. Riveredge building management was accountable for requested service. Special thanks to Dave for this. Super was very responsive and has the right tool to work on issues. Electric and gas bill was minimum. Bed room and guest room were wooden floors. Hitting system was very good, we did not have any issues during winter. One more plus point was it is opposite to my Daughters school.

Do not ! I repeat .. DO NOT rent from these people, theyre corrupt, greedy and evil. They will do almost anything to either get you to pay them more in anyway or not give you your security deposit at all which is illegal! In my case they raised false accusations had to take time out of my work to go to court because they want to claim I never paid just so they deduct attorney fees, court fees, late fees and the false amount of rent they say I didnt pay from my deposit. When ever you try to reach them via phone they never answer and if they do theyll tell you youll get a call back and never do... they dont even have an office you can go to speak to someone, if you present yourself to this address they wont even let you in

I lived under Riveredge Management for over a year in West New York, NJ. Its was a great experience! They were very pleasant and easy to work with from moving in to moving out and everything in between. 6615 Broadway had spacious renovated apartments with hardwood floors and new appliances. Maintenance was always available and happy to help with any issues. The building is very quite and secure. Bus routes to NYC is only two blocks away. They have a large establishment with a lot of workers who you practically have to beg and chase to take care of problems with your apartment through a 3rd party messaging service, our apartment was mice infested and we relayed many messages to them in which they never decided to finally do something until my last 2 weeks in the unit, not only that but my girlfriend miscarried and I guarantee it has to do with the infections involved with mice, when i moved out they stole my security deposit too due to not re-painting the apartment because they claim we had to repaint the apartment if we moved before 3 yrs although a 12 month lease, yet we were forced to move because of all the problems they were negligent!!! If you’ve been a victim of these guys take them to court!! They’re not even organized in court!!

In my two years living in a property managed by River Edge, they tried to take me to court 2 separate times over failure to pay rent. The first time I went to court for this reason was because I didnt pay 33% of the rent because I didnt have a working toilet for over a month!!! I called, I emailed, I begged the super to fix the problem... nothing and no response until I didnt pay part of the rent. Then when they fixed the toilet, they tried to take me to court. The second time they took me to court was over not paying for the heat in my apartment, because my apartment was on a separate heating unit, which I had to pay for as part of my gas bill. Again, it took going to court to get it resolved. In both cases, I didnt owe them anything and their lawyer apologized for inconveniencing me. The next issue was when they didnt have our building treated for pests (bugs, mice, rats, etc.) for over six months!!! And several of the tenants ended up severe insect issues. Bed bugs, roaches, mice, etc. They addressed the issue in accordance with the law... but were forced to do so because I threatened legal action. Finally, I needed to move due to a job, they threatened to sue me for the remainder of the lease agreement... even though I gave them 100 days notice of my need to move. We came to an agreement after I spoke with a lawyer and sent them a certified letter with my intent and explained what would happen upon my move. Bottom line, I couldnt be happier to be out of there! They are Slumlords who care nothing for their buildings, tenants, or the LAW! Do not rent from them, the people who have had good experiences with them are not the norm. Almost all of my neighbors were unhappy, and even my super would regularly complain that he couldnt do his job properly because the company wouldnt let him due to financial restrictions. DO NOT RENT FROM RIVEREDGE!!! Spare yourself the headache and trouble. Theres too many other good and reputable companies to rent from.

Horrible company. I need to move! I have been renting through them for almost 4 years now and its always something with my apartment from not having hot water because i need a new hot water heater or mushrooms growing out of my ceiling in the bathroom because of a leak or not having heat because the boiler doesnt work properly, when i pay my own heat! They never fix anything just patch thing up and put band aids over problems. For each issue Ive had at least 5 different people come and each does a worse job than the last. PLEEEEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS, you will be sorry.

I moved into a completely renovated 2 bedroom apartment at 3143 JFK Blvd, Jersey City in April 2013 and have been living there for the past 3 years. The rent is reasonable and includes heat & hot water. We chose this location due to proximity to Jersey City schools and transportation to NYC.We have a super living within the premises and he fixes minor issues like clogged drains, bulbs, etc. right away. The apartment common area premises are well-maintained and the exterminator comes to our apartment every month for preventive maintenance.The management is prompt in attending to major issues. Our microwave just quit working one day, and had to be replaced. A phone call and an email to management resulted in us getting a new microwave installed on a Saturday.We have had a wonderful and hassle-free stay here, and would recommend Riveredge Management properties.

I have also experienced the joy of pissing in my sink because they have not fixed the plumbing in over 4 days.Do not know about security deposits yet but my guess is they are going to screw me over there as well.

I wish I could give negative stars to this company!!! From Day 1 they were a nightmare to deal with. For the last 9 months I have had nothing but issues ranging from the super ignoring requests to bug issues to filthy common areas to electricity issues.....the list is virtually endless! Ive tried to work with the management company, but their ignorance is frustrating. IF you actually get to speak to someone, they dont listen and dont provide solutions to anything.I think slumlord is too nice of a word for these guys. I cant wait to move out of this awful place, but Im sure I will have nothing but more headaches trying to get my deposit back.If you do not already rent from this company, DO NOT RENT WITH THEM! I had a very nice and pleasant experience with Riveredgemanagement . 24/7 Support help line, immediate action from management, very secure, reliable, clean renovated apartments and streamlined online payment system . By far the worst management company to rent from. I have had numerous issues in my apartment that have yet to be fixed. I have left several messages with their third party answering service and they drag their feet when it comes to returning a phone call or an email. They set up appointments to fix the issues and the super or maintenance guy shows up all kinds of hours. Ex: I set an appointment to fix my bathroom for 8am, he showed up at 5pm in the afternoon with a story of having to take his son to the doctor and he was sitting at home for hours waiting for me to call him to come over. I was confused, like I set up an appointment so why should I call you and tell you when to come over when the management company set everything up. The people in this company are quick to take you to court for rent but its like pulling teeth for them to follow through when it comes to fixing things. They send strange people to your house if theyre in the area doing other work. The maintenance workers must be people they hire for cheap bc the work they do shows that they arent professionals. Ive had someone come and attempt to fix a mold problem in my bathroom and he came with a bucket of paint saying they told him to paint over the mold. Uuhh, how is that fixing a problem? I have never had an issue with the previous owners but this company is horrible. I will not be recommending them to anyone I know. Worst experience ever.

The Riveredge management was really helpful with the process of initial lease and the house was renovated. we didt have to pay the broker fees as it was taken care by the management . There were some issues with the apartment but the issues were promptly resolved . overall a good experience staying in the apartment.

I have been living in an apartment which falls under this company in BAYONNE. I was new to this country when I came in January 2015. I was struggling with initial setup and how to set up my online account with the company so that I can pay online rents. But it went to and fro for so many days and i was frustrated at last. I feared in all these things I may skip my Rent.Then there is an employee Shalva Zwick who picked up my mail and after that she was like GINNIE. Within 15-20 min she fixed everything for me and whenever I query her about anything she is so polite and prompt that you love talking to her. She is very very customer friendly and very concerned about her clients. I am so happy with her attitude and way of working. HER FAMILY AND NEWBORN HAD TO FLEE BECAUSE THE BEDBUGS TOOK OVER HER APARTMENT, BUT THEY DIDNT CARE THAT THEY WERE PUTTING A CHILD AT RISK. THEYRE PROBABLY GREAT IF YOU DONT HAVE A RENT CONTROLLED APARTMENT, BUT IF YOU DO, EXPECT TO BE ILLEGALLY FORCED OUT BY THESE MONSTERS.BECAUSE THEY TOOK ME TO COURT CLAIMING I DIDNT PAY MY RENT WHEN I WAS UP TO DATE, IVE HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF MEETING THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THEM. THEYRE CORRUPT AND DISGUSTING. EVEN THE BUILDING INSPECTORS FROM MY AREA VENTED TO ME ABOUT THE ISSUES THEY HAD WITH THEM, BECAUSE THEY WERE DOING THIS TO SO MANY PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD IT WAS BECOMING A SERIOUS PROBLEM. THEY HAVE CORRUPT LAWYERS THOUGH... I PITY ANYONE WHO HAS TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, AND IM GRATEFUL THAT I GOT AWAY.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.. PLEASE!! and if you are already renting, when you plan to move out, dont pay the last month of rent. I say this because you wont see your security deposit. My mom is waiting for hers for like 4 months already. my friends uncle has been waiting for 7 months or so. on top of that, they have taken my aunts niece to court 2 times with failure to pay rent. Yet, she has all the proof she did pay rent and the companies lawyers feels bad and apologizes.

I have been living in the 1062 Westside Ave apartment for past 2 years, in Jercey City, which is managed by Riveredge Mgmt. Our stay in this apartment has been a great experience and we have really good neighbors in our building. The locality around the building has all the retailers, restaurants, kids school, kids play area and its so convenient to stay in this area. The Riveredge management is very helpful and we never had any problems in our apartment. The apartment is secured and well maintained by the management. My wife and I moved into the apartment on Pavonia ave 2.5 years ago and are thoroughly satisfied with both our super and Riveredge Management. A 15 mins walk to the Journal square and 20 mins train ride makes NYC accessible in 35 mins. With my busy lifestyle commuting to the city each day I appreciate that Riveredge management is easily reached by email. Should there be any issue, Ive always received a prompt response within 24 hours at most from a team member or the building supervisor.The security cameras that were put in were particularly something I favor as it made me feel that my family and I are secure. There is a regular visit from the exterminator however it was not much needed in my apartment. All appliances in my apartment were new when I moved in. My dishwasher broke down and it was replaced within a matter of few days. The central heating makes the apartment comfortable in winters and the temperature adjustment is fixed by the super often. I would highly recommend Riveredge Management for apartment rentals in Jersey City, reach out to Dave or Maria both are very helpful and approachable.

I lived in their 209 New York Ave apartment building. If you are considering having your temporary home away from home there, I strongly recommend it! Look around, you will see that this is an affordable area and let me assure you that this is a relatively safe area. I lived there so I know. I have other good reasons for you.1. Good living quality:a) The apartment ceiling is 10 feet high. It is luxurious comparing to newer more modern buildings where each apartment seems to be a dove cage.b) The neighborhood is quiet. This is a quiet building as well. I have reasonable and sensible neighbors. One feels comfortable being there.c) This buildings common area is well maintained. A nice gentleman is there, cleaning, vacuuming the hallway every Sunday. That makes tenants feel they are respected.d) Garbage dump area is always neatly dealt with by the same person, and by all tenants as well. These places give one information about the leasing company and it shows quality of the tenants living there.2. Economical reason:a) This is a free WIFI building which saves one at least $60 internet fee each month. I never had Bandwidth issue with that neither.b) Its an energy efficient apartment. My utility bill is averaged $20.3. Good neighborhood:a) One block away, there is Riverview Park which is right on Jersey City heights. From there, one has broad view of NYC skyline, magnificent! at dawn, at dusk, any time of the day. I bike through it everyday, simply felt good each time. You will love it as well.b) Riverview Farmers Market in the park every Sunday from May through November, fresh veggies, fruits and tasty food. I will always miss it...Commuting:a) One block away, on Palisade Ave, there are Buses 123 and 119 to NYC; little bus to Bergen County and NYC as well. Bus 84, 87 to Hoboken Subway and Train terminal.b) Equal distance to Journal Square or to Hoboken PATH train to NYC.c) Light rail station is in the neighborhood as well.Lastly, the laundromat is from 7 am to 10 pm every day. It is a nice and clean one.I recommend this apartment to you and wish you good luck in finding the right place to suit your need.

Do not always believe what you read. Sometimes, the reviews may be old and in some cases, it might just be a one off issue which prompts to write a bad review about someone.My colleague who was renting at Riveredge Management suggested I take over his lease when he was moving to India. This was almost 2 years ago. After I moved in, I read a lot of negative reviews about Riveredge Management. Some related to the leasing and some related to the way that they do not respond to any issues which made me really nervous.But today, as I am leaving this place, I am glad and relieved that none of these reviews are true anymore. I believe that Riveredge Management has made some changes to the way they operate. Every single complain or issue I reported has been resolved the same day. I did have my share of problems with the apartment like the heat not working or hot water not coming. But every single apartment has these problems. The capacity to address these issues and resolve them in a timely manner is what makes a dedicated and reliable company. I never had to call or mail anyone twice. Be it as simple as replacing the battery of the smoke detector or bigger issue with the heat not working during the peak winter season.Yes, it would have been nice to talk to someone once in a while when there are issues, but I don’t care as long as the issue is resolved and addressed in a timely manner. The Super is a wonderful person and is available at any time day or night.The only reason I could not renew my lease is due to the fact I am leaving the Country. But if I do come back again, I am sure to look up Riveredge Management first before looking at any other options to stay.

Lets start here. I found the ad about the apartment on Craigslist because I was trying to avoid paying a broker fee. Worked with a great no fee broker to rent the place. She even took pictures for me to show me what the apartment looked like while it was being renovated. Now when I moved in, it turned into a different story. Moved in on the 15th and was told that I had to pay the full months rent. When the june 1 rent was due, I paid half as most people would. Well they decided to serve me with papers to go to court for non payment. The case was overturned but that was a horrible experience. The super was terrible. He would say he would come to fix something and never did. I had to call management to make him come one time. Now onto the heat... there only had 1 heater for the entire apartment and often at night it was not on. Luckily I worked long hours so I didnt notice as much. But when February hit, I was freezing. And then when it came to moving out, I gave my notice, hired someone to repaint per the lease and when I finally got my security deposit back, they shorted me 650 for a repainting fee. Luckily I have before and after pics from when he painted. So see you in court River Edge. You guys are the grimiest company ever. I will never rent from you guys again!!!!! Its not worth it to rent from them. Rent from a Landord who actually has a physical person you can talk to instead of an answering service.Update on 6/30: I sent pictures of repainting the apartment and they agreed to give me the $650 from my security deposit back. So be sure to read your lease thoroughly and follow the stipulations. And take before and after pictures when you paint. It will pay off in the end.

Hello Googles & Im here to say is that Im glad be a residents for Riveredge Management LLCits been 4 yrs going & Its always been clean & kid friendly environment, the super is always one phone call away, Is hard to find a place were a building management appreciate there residents.I have a Family of 4 & have no worries about theft in the building, theres cameras in each floor & one in front of the building. fun fact the fire system is up to date (thats hard to find in a building).They always on-call, always answering, always replying & to me thats important.People always finding a reason to down talk or leave a negative review but dont see the great highlights.To me one of my worries is when is time for me to move for a good personal reason & have to deal with a new building Management that its not as reliable as Riveredge Management, its not going to be calld HOME.

I have been a tenant for 4 years. Foremost, I wanted to live in a pet friendly building, and many other tenants have pets, and I have never been harassed about our 2 little dogs and cats by any tenant or managment: big +1. Other tenants are friendly and one helped me lug an air conditioner to my 2nd floor apartment; others help me on the stairs with my shopping cart etc., and I help others with strollers etc. I went through a period of hardship because my wife is very ill, and I had trouble paying rent on time. Management worked it out with me, it took a few court appearances where mgmt agreed to payment plans, they were not exactly nice but they did not evict us either. The maintenance of our building is fairly haphazard, and I was almost evicted for damage caused by a leak they did not repair after months of my asking for repairs. We worked that out too, with another court appearance, and the leak was repaired. The rent is reasonable, the location is convenient for me, with a lot of shopping nearby, as well as my synagogue two blocks away, and several buses to NYC near as well. Its a nice apartment, with an eat-in kitchen and a small second bedroom I can use for by consulting business office. Overall, I am satisfied.

Definitely not worth the time, stress or money. Very poor management with very incompetent Supers. It is unreasonably difficult to get matters addressed, and management will only respond personally once youve posted a negative review. Do yourself a favor and avoid getting involved with this management company.
