I recently had the battery to my car die on me less then 5 minutes walking distance from Peters Service Center. I decided to see if they could help me out, and well things got really expensive for me as a result. Not only was I charged $200 for a new battery, but $25 for road service. I could totally understand a $25 road service if my car was far away from the shop and I decided on top of that to not buy a replacement battery from them, but to charge this amount even when I still bought the battery from them seemed excessive. If that wasnt bad enough, a day after them changing the battery my cars check engine light turned on when I had no prior issues with it. Yeah, I will never return to this place.

I wish we had more mechanic shops like Peters auto service In CT where Im from. I came to NJ for a trip and noticed my brakes squeaking. We chose Peters because of all the other great reviews. I was very pleased with the professionalism and how fast they were able to get my car back riding safely. In the meantime I rented a car for 6 hours and they called me to pick it up with new tires, fresh oil change and new break pads. Thank you guys so much.

The service was beyond excellent. Mike was so patient with me as I got confused on issues with my car. I apologize for my confusion because they go why out of the way to help.Everything he clearly explained to me. Because I got a disability, this is the best service place I have ever be to in awhile as it is hard to find real good people. I was referred and I am very grateful.

My car needed service. Peters went above and beyond with my car. While the bill topped 2,000 dollars, they did a ton of work, tires brakes tune up battery, all work was exellent. I felt like i had a new car when i picked it up. Good people here. 2 thumbs up. And a personal thank you to the mechanic who performed the work.

The owner is a very genuine and friendly person, and they will never make you pay for things you dont need. This is the only shop that I fully trust. I brought my Pickup Truck Dodge Ram 1500 the Dealer ask $850 just to diagnose the problem. Mike is really good mechanic he give me really reasonable price really honest. After he finish he told me to come back to check if everything is fine. Finally I find my mechanic and definitely I am not gonna change him. He did amazing job on my engine the car is working like brand new. I will give this guy 10 stars.

So the dealership wanted $700 for a starter. No way!!! I personally didnt know any mechanics so I searched around .I saw Peters had good reviews and now I know why. Mike was the person who took care of me and gave me no BS. He cut me a little break on the price since it was my first time there. He was straight forward and honest which you rarely find with mechanics now a days .I rarely write reviews unless the service was very bad or very good. Today was very good .I found a new mechanic .

Trustworthy. Reasonable prices. You will not get taken advantage of here. They are great. I highly recommend them. Before I discovered this shop I had many bad experiences. The first time I used them I had gotten prices from three other mechanics. He gave me a better price, told me what needed to be done right away and what I could wait on. Mike took great care of us. We send our kids to him and he is now our family mechanic.

Very trustworthy and honest. Gives you updates and calls for part pricing while you’re there if you’d like. Takes the time to show me the problems visually and just my consolation he knows the problem. Owner calls to give updates and asks questions before starting any work with prices. Most problems I’ve had he has resolved in couple days or so and not weeks like other places I’ve been too. He knows his job and been going there for 4 years.

I deliver supplies to mike on a weekly basis and hes a great person to work with. Not only is he honest, he does the right thing in regards to fixing your vehicle, he puts safety before profit. I look forward to continue bringing my vehicles to Mike due to his superior service.
