Has a first time car buyer I actually needed help from a good salesman. I went to a bunch of places that just played games from the moment I got there.This dealership isn’t like that at all. My sales person Jose was the main reason I came back. He asked me what I wanted, what I wanted to pay monthly. With that information he said let’s get options. We came up with the perfect set up in 30 minutes. Car, monthly, etc. in 30 minutes. Jose wasn’t there to waste my time like most do. I have been putting off getting a new car since I have had some bad experiences. I had bought a car at Garden State previously and been very happy with the salesman. He was one of the nicest gentleman I know. Unfortunately he had retired but good for him. This time I had a great experience again. Great salesman David Russo. I was really disappointed with our experience at Garden State Honda. We went to the dealership to take a look at their used car inventory. The salesperson pulled up a car that met our needs and quoted a price that was on the internal web site. Unfortunately, the car was at a different location and we had to drive another 10 minutes to get to the lot to take a look at the car. After a test drive, we were ready to make an offer. When we returned to the dealership, the sales person told us that the price on the web site was inaccurate and the actual price as $5,000 MORE than what was on the site and originally quoted. This was now out of our budget and they were not willing to negotiate. Ultimately, we left the dealership feeling as if we wasted 3 hours of our time. We went back home and checked out Carvana and found a better deal. I wish the sales person would have been more up front about the price before going on a “wild goose chase”.

After filling out name, phone#, email to get an e-quote all that I got back was less than sticker.Not quite bait and switch but they entice you with emails and phone calls but never deliver. Six and a half thousand of Honda cash, after their shell game it works out to less than two thousand under sticker. What a waste of my wifes and my time.BTW, IMO while all the other mfts are in the clubhouse turn, Hondas tech is still on the backstretch. Even American mfrs are producing more inspired tech and reliability these days.

If I can give a negative star I will. The manager JUILO was the most rude salesman Ive ever encountered in my life. While negotiating a lease price bc they decided to sell the Honda $1500 more then the official MSRP he was extremely dismissive and rude. I applied for a lease and ran my credit through their official website and was quoted a certain number. On the website it told me all I had to do was come in with my credentials sign the paperwork and leave with the new car. After coming in to the dealership they made me wait 45 min while the whole place was empty. That was red flag number one. He then came and wanted to charge me $100 more per month for the same vehicle I got quoted on from their official website and give 10k miles a month instead of 12k miles. I explained to him that I ran my credit and got a quote online on their official website to avoid working in a dealership and also they said they will honor it and why was he was trying to charge me more than the original quote. When we started going over numbers he got frustrated with me and told me, my price is my price, take it or leave it. After saying that He then threw the pen at me and walked away. The sales rep that was working with me didnt come back and no one came to talk to me after that situation went down. I was dumbfounded and angry. I did not want to make a scene for that scumbag disrespecting me, but I will never deal with this robbery of a dealership ever again. I highly advise no one deal with these thieves. They are taking full advantage of the shortage of chips and are robbing people blind. Theyll remember this when there is no longer a shortage and they regret treating people like garbage. Theyre going to be begging people for business. STAY AWAY. dont worry Julio ill also be complaining about you to cooperate. I guarantee some of the good reviews here are fake!I

I drove in to get an Oil change and I first saw him through my window walking around saying hello to everyone and giving his team instruction to relocate a car that was not even getting serviced so it would not get hit by another car. His attention to detail and customer service skill sets are far and above anything I have seen in any dealership. I only have one thing to say to the Owners of Garden State Plaza. If I hit the Lotto and start my own business Im taking him with me. That man deserves a raise, a bonus whatever you can do to show your appreciation to him. Paul thank you for being you !!!

I went to a lot of dealerships around the area and found the best deal here. The sales associate that I worked with was Yong and I would recommend him to anyone. He wasnt pressuring at all and made me take my time with choosing the vehicle. I also spoke with the manager, Alejandro, and he was very nice as well.The only thing that was unpleasant was that they didnt have the title of the vehicle right away (it was sent by the bank but didnt arrive right away), so I had to wait a few days before my purchase. Otherwise, great experience and a great price!

I saw Robert Roque on a Saturday and the dealership was very busy. I told him from the beginning that I wasn’t going to be able to make a decision that day, but if I liked everything I would definitely be getting a car in a few months. I’ve dealt with car salesman before and I know they can be very pushy. I also know that most would have viewed me as a waste of time and not shown me everything. He did though. I really appreciate all the effort he took to go through all the details with me. I’m just waiting for a couple things to happen before I can buy the car in cash. I didn’t want to take a loan out while I waited though and he still worked with me. I will definitely be back to do business with Robert soon.
