Weve used them in the past then we moved. So just after we moved they call us for service at the new. He just us a price which was the same at the last house. Funny part is, the new house is half the size but we stuck with them anyways. After the first treatment, the price changed (higher). We werent having it. We called them they had every excuse in the book. They lowered it alittle. Should have just walked but we didnt. Second treatment, they cancel on us. Apparently the truck broke down. Rescheduled, whatever. Third treatment, we really started to wonder. When you fertilize, you can smell it. Never did. Weeds, brown grass, mushrooms and that was enough. Called and cancelled service and again the guy had every excuse in the book. Still, we got rid of them. Thank God for YouTube. I figured out our brown grass problem. Grubs, multiplying like Gremlins. Now, wouldnt you think a lawn care company should have known that and passed it along??? Yeah, no... I treated it myself and my lawn is coming back. These clowns couldnt treat a paper cut on your finger. Stay away from them!!! Youll regret shelling $500 out to them
No way this company should be rated with 2 stars. My wife was all over me about how bad our front yard looked. About 30% was just weeds, after 1 treatment the yard looked like a weed war zone. The weed man was winning. Two months in and after a fertilizer treatment it looks so much better. I have been watering the lawn each evening just to keep it moist and Im sure that is helping as well. Their products work and it shows.
So my personal experience with weedman. Used this company for about 5 years, paid every time a bill came, rates just kept going up. Badgering phone calls for up sells of services. After declining the services they just started doing them without my approval. Eventually on a phone call i specifically stated to cancel my service with them all together, after that no more phone calls. To my surprise after this I was put in collections because they kept coming to do fertilizing. Apparently they do not have very good communication in the company.
The review from a year ago was right on about their being difficult in the office. However, there has been a management change and that issue is resolved. We have used them for many years because the product is fabulous and the results were worth the headaches from the administration. The technicians have always been wonderful and punctual. The office staff have stepped up their game in the last few months and are now interested in having happy customers. I went with 4 stars only because it will take awhile to wash the previous regime from my memory. The product has always been 5 stars, minimum.
Bad customer service I would steer clear, they are owned by eastside landscaping and are not easy to deal with
