Sparklight has been amazing for us from the beginning. We recently moved to an area where none of the major local providers services our new place. Hughes net was looking like our only option but wasnt gonna work for us because I stream a lot and every game my boyfriend plays was listed on their site as incompatible with their services. Also Sparklight is way more affordable and doesn’t require a 2 year contract. By some universal miracle we came across Sparklight, I called that same day, asked all my questions, the customer service is so awesome. Very friendly staff. We set an appointment, they came on time, and the internet has been working flawlessly for both of our streaming and avid gaming needs!!! Highly recommend!
The data speed I had with my previous internet provider was 10x slower than the speed I get from Sparklight and at the same price. Sparklight has great customer service as well, all without a contract.
Ive had Sparklight for about 3 weeks now and so far the internet I bought is great, but they left a big orange cable in my yard they were supposed to come back and bury, but it has been 3 weeks now and still after Ive called twice about it, no one has come to bury it. Also one day they were updating their service so the internet wasnt working for a few hours and they gave no warning about this.
Love the internet service... Miss my cable for now.
Never use your card over the phone because you will have so many errors, best to use a place with Sparklight employees know where they system is a error.
Took 2 weeks for them to come install it and i guess it works better than at&t but its still horrible
If I could leave zero stars I would. The internet goes out daily. Customer service is terrible. They’ll charge extra every month saying you’ve exceeded your data plan. Never had this issue before. I’ll be changing internet providers as soon as I can. It’s incredibly difficult to talk to an actual person that works for this company. 0/5 Stars

Worst company I have ever delt with in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Unfortunately this is the only company in the area for high speed internet if you can call it that. I am forced to call this sorry company 4-8 times a month because of outages or Im just not getting what I pay for. I pay for 200 mbps and on average probably receive 50 on a good day. Not once have they offered any reciprocation for the terrible service that I receive but by God they cash every check I write for my bill. F&%$ this company in the A#*, Im so sick of them.
Was closed due to covid and had reduced hours that are not posted online. Online service/call center is friendly and very helpful.

Sparklight internet service is horrendous to say the least!! My internet constantly drops ALL DAY EVERY DAY! I spend an extensive amount of time on the phone with tech support going to the same routine sometimes 5 times a day! One tech agent told me my internet dropped 15 times within two minutes!! I have had three different modems and two service technicians on three different occasions at my house within two months! I called customer service about a adjustment to my $131 per month bill. The CSR was very arrogant and told me that she sees where I’ve been on the internet! Of course I’ve been on the internet, but not a reliable internet. I should be able to stay on the internet 24 hours, if I desire, without the internet dropping period! I was in the middle of taking an exam and the internet DROPPED!!! If you can, run, don’t walk, from Sparklight! If someone can recommend another provider, please list. I am desperately seeking another internet provider.
With Sparklight I feel connected to what is going on in the world which is no easy task for someone who works 12 he night shifts. Could not be more pleased with Sparklight. Price and Service Superb.
I stopped by there to change over my internet service. I was there no more than 15 minutes. From turning in the old modem to getting the new one and setting up my account, the entire process went smoothly! The staff in the office and on the phone are all helpful and extremely nice!
The account was set up over the phone using a debit card. Customer service rep was nice and cordial. Installation was prompt and explained. I chose the Flex 100 Starter Plan which is only $65 monthly. The internet does not skip a beat even in inclimate weather. Its great for working from home as well. The only thing about the Flex Starter Plan is that it is more suitable for couple who has no children. Because my husband and I have two children living with us and the monthly bill reflects a $20 extra 2 gigabytes fee. I am going to consider changing the plan today. But other than that it is a nice service.
My cable line got tore down by a tractor over a week ago. Can’t get no one to hook back up.keep getting the run around.they keep sending tech guy out and all they can say is they don’t hook up contractors do it for them but know one can tell me if or when this will happen.very disappointed in this company I will bet they still charge they whole month bill.
Unfortunately, my experience with Cable One has not been a very good one. Our first technician did not have the materials in his truck to install our lines correctly. He was also in such a hurry to leave, that he left phone lines and cables all over our home. Our cable service dropped a few days later, and I called customer support. No resolution was met, so we scheduled an appointment for the following week. I asked for another technician in an attempt for a better experience. However, the same gentleman arrived with a similar attitude of just get it done and get out. To date, our internet only works in two rooms of our home, which is not large enough to warrant usage this poor. Our internet drops consistently and impacts my ability to work from home. Our phone service will often not allow us to call local numbers or not work at all. Currently, we are looking for another provider in our area. Cable One has not been a very good choice for us!

Honestly, maybe closer to two stars, I’m not sure yet. I have only been a customer for about a month and I am new to the area. I never had a data plan with my home internet service, where I lived before, so I had no idea how much data I would even use on my home internet, especially since I used to work from home. I just paid a reasonable monthly price for high speed internet, so when I signed up for CableOne I figured I should pick the plan with the closest price to what I am used to paying. I don’t work from home now either but before the end of the first month I already had to pay for more data two times! I’m not liking this pay for data thing but to add more it would make the price more than double what I am used to paying and I’m sure I used way more data then than I do now, so I’m going to see how it goes but I’m not happy with the price as of now.

The cable one cable stops 7/10 of a mile up the street from me and I keep recieving mail from them to sign up. I go online and purchase my plan to only find out that the cable line doesnt come down to my residence. They refuse to run the cable further down my road. Company will not work with you about getting cable or internet. Do not fall for there mail out flyers just to find out you sn not get service.
I am enjoying it. Thinking about adding cable.
Ive had CableOne internet for almost 5 years in two different apartments in Cleveland. I have been less than impressed. Service is spotty at best, and sometimes completely un-useable at peak times of the day, so pretty much any time after 5 pm. Their plans are unreasonably expensive for basic internet, and then they keep emailing me about data caps? Its 2018. What dinosaur ISP still uses data caps?? And if you do go over, they force you to upgrade to a higher price package, rather than just charging you for an extra amount of data per-offense like every other ISP does. Last time I found that my neighbor (frat-boy college kids) had tied their PS4 onto my Wi-Fi, and thats why Id gone over. CableOne wouldnt even cut me a break! Id switch to literally anybody if I could, but theyre all I can get in my apartment. I wish C Spire would come to Cleveland, Id switch in a heartbeat.
The service itself is fine. However, I have not learned to fully use the system yet. The technician who installed gave us nothing. I still can. It access my voice messages because no one has given me the passcode. I do not understand Tivo so basically I am paying for service to watch a few location channels. DirecTV was more expensive but it was easy to access and user friendly.

My daughter originally stayed home one Friday for them to come and install. I told them I cannot have a phone at work, to call my daughters phone to confirm the appointment 2 days before the install. They still called my phone and said it was busy. I work at a prison and have to leave my phone in my truck. When I looked, I had not received a call from anyone that day. We were without internet for a week because of this issue. I have a side job that relies on internet and lost money because of it. The service is fast when you are hooked up via Ethernet, but their Wifi service lacks.
Cable None are an Underhand Kingpen ISP. A couple years ago, they capped our Data, without asking us. If u go over they try to force you to highest level plan without your approval. The try didnt work for me, called them, and told them to CANCEL the Internet and only paying the $55.00 not the price you upgraded me to without my permission.Already cut the cable off month ago, got tired of paying High Ass Price, and got 3 channels, that show the same Greenville News.Please everyone, pass the word, go online fill out form to get Cspire Fiber for Cleveland. Call/email your Alderman, to let Cspire come to Cleveland. Send Cable None packing. In mean time swap to ATT Internet 18 plan. $50 a month, and 1 TB Data. 18mbps though, but Cable None never hit 100mbps anyway.
Get a internet bill says one price than email saying another price. Just jacked up and horrible.
We switched to Cable One internet almost a week ago. Weve already had to place 3 service calls. Service is inconsistent and slow at best. For the last service appointment, scheduled conveniently between 8am and 7 pm, the technician never showed. He lied that he personally called and never got an answer and that no one was home. My husband was home and in the driveway waiting for him during the window we were given after the robo-call. The technician documented in his notes that we did not answer (because he never called) but that the internet was probably OK. If ATT Uverse had not had a 9 day delay in service calls, we would have never changed. ATT isnt looking so bad anymore.
Love it just need to be a little faster
Very expensive, and that for a very limited number of channels (we dont even get PBS! Anybody ever heard of such???) and quality of broadcast is mediocre at best. No agreements with any companies to watch while on the go either. Internets OK but super expensive.
They are TERRIBLE. The wifi is awful and the customer support is awful. Switching to a different provider as soon as I can.

They said they called when they didnt. So I missed the guy but they sent someone back out to me to install my internet. So far I havent had any problems with my internet.
Too expensive and the channels are just not worth what you pay for.
All I can say is I am glad I do not need their service. The amount of money my mother pays for basic service is enough for fiber service where I live.
