Too Expensive for me but if she wouldnt have messed my step son hair up first i wouldve payed $50 for two bad cuts instead of $20 and i had $8000 cash on me and they kept overlooking me like i couldnt afford there over hyped cuts definitely never expected me to be a google guide lol ... arrogant and untalented...

2nd time with this barber. First experience was great. Had an appointment today at 1:30pm inwhich my barber didnt show up at all, was there until about 2:10pm after getting there at 1:25pm. Called and messaged, but no answer.Later around 7pm, I got a message from my ex-barber stating that he wanted to apologize, followed by stating he was disappointed in me as a client, because I didnt give him the benefit of the doubt... Went on to state how I canceled my appointment at 1:30pm yesterday, an appointment where around 11:30am I let him know things werent going well at the BMV and I may not be able to make it. At 12:30pm ended up with issues involving Mayfield Heights and Lyndhurst court for unpaid tickets in Mayfield.Could not drive back because of a block on my license so I had to Uber to the court, pay almost $700 in fines that they couldnt substantiate or say what the fines were from except they were from a vehicle Ive never owned or cosigned for, but said I could either fight it in court, but I cant drive in the meantime, or I had to pay it to be able to drive. So I paid the bs fines, told them Id file the grievance with the court later to get my money back, and then I let my barber know I was clear for now. He called later asking if I was good, which I gave him the story of what happened at the court and I let him know I could stop back that same day if he had any time available. He said he was booked for the rest of the day so we made plans for the next day (today) at 1:30pm.So hours later after I posted my 1 star review of the shop is when I finally got a response, so Im assuming the shop owner noticed it and likely asked what was going on which prompted my barber to message me on Facebook. I didnt read it and just let him know that a call or text would have been good, as I did that for him instead of just not showing up at all. As I sat in the hot tub I decided to read the message and seen he was disappointed in me as a client and something about being paid by Google to do reviews. (Google if at any time you want to pay me for reviews I do, you know all my contact info and where to send the checks to!)Not sure how hes disappointed in me as a client as I gave him 2 hours notice that I wouldnt be able to make it, whereas he gave me zero notice and some story about how he overslept plus had personal things going on or to do. He may be upset about the review, but a negative experience is negative and positive is positive Im any customer service environment so not sure what he expected. Doesnt take long to send a quick text or call to explain. The ironic part is where he claimed I wasted his time and money yesterday, yet he lives within walking distance of the shop, whereas I live 20-25 minutes away and wasted 40 minutes of my time waiting for him, and another 20-25 minutes back home...Side note, none of the other barbers there offered to see what was taking him so long, just said that hell be here shortly. Was fine as the first time I got a haircut from him, he was 10-15 minutes late and I still paid a $10 tip on top of the $40 cut.Others may enjoy the shop and the other barbers, but I cant recommend Ricardo based on timeliness, communication, or professionalism.

I love the fact the barber shops are making a comeback! Service was great and the attention to detail was awesome for my beardtrim. Next time I need a haircut Im coming here instead of great clips to get both done at once!

If youre looking for a consistently great haircut, Steve at CityBreaks is the barber for you! I moved to Cleveland a few months ago and finding a proper barber was a concern of mine but Steve has definitely taken care of me since my first appointment. He always pays attention to detail and makes sure you get a quality cut every time. As for the location, its very clean and modern with plenty of parking around the building for easy access. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Shop is clean and everything is brand new. It’s in a convenient location with street parking right out front. The shop staff took all the extra precautions needed to maintain cleanliness during these times. As for the cut, I found Steve on Styleseat and figured I’d give him a shot with all the positive reviews. This was my first cut from him. I showed him a few pictures and explained my vision. He took the time to understand the type of cut and put his own twist on it. He had me coming out fresh! I’d recommend Steve and the CityBreaks Cleveland shop.

Alysha has been cutting both of my boys hair for awhile now. Shes awesome! She definitely knows what she is doing and is very good at it! Plus, shes really good with kids! The shop is clean, at a convenient location and everyone was professional. I will definitely recommend CityBreaks to others!

Alysha gave my 18 month old his first haircut today and I am BEYOND pleased. She was patient and so nice to my baby. And his hair looks great! The shop was clean and everyone was friendly and professional.

Got Steve to give me a cut after a long 2 months with no appointments due to Corona. They took the virus very seriously and delt with it very professionally. Would totally recommend it if your looking for a solid fresh cut or a new spot. Not to mention very new interior and clean shop.

I’m writing this for my fiancé...Moises did a great job cleaning my guy up.He has extremely long hair (which I adore...and he’s very picky with its care.)He doesn’t just let anyone touch his locs...the shop was clean and nice. He was out pretty quick and definitely said it’s his place now.

Place is great along with amazing cuts but when coming in early the place gets too hot with the sun coming through the windows... makes it uncomfortable for the cut.

Could be 5 stars but the sun coming thru the windows is brutal. Buy some blinds or something.

Heard my mans moved to a new shop so I had to check it out. Obviously I wont get cut by anyone else. Cool shop. Seem to he good ppl. Shop is brand spankn new so veey clean! Awesome vibes. Steve has really came a long way these past few years and its only up from here. Amazing work ethic. Awesome attitude. All around great human. Good Job Steve 🍊👍
