Its an OK venue. Not that pleasurable of an experience. I checked the website ahead of time and saw that the venue has limited parking. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to the doors opening and all the spaces were taken. We ended up parking in the Childrens Museum parking lot, that was about a 5 minute walk to the venue. Upon arrival we were checked for age and had bracelets put on very tight. We made it through security check point within a few minutes and then purchased two drinks. Before finding our seats, we used the restrooms. The womens room had used tampons and applicators shoved in a vent above the toilet, GROSS!The show was good but the sound had constant feedback. After the show we were walking through the venue and saw an opportunity to step aside from the flow of people to put on our jackets before stepping out for our walk back to our vehicle. We we instantly YELLED at for stopping in front of a door. We were obviously just putting on our coats. This left me with a bad opinion of the venue and will not purchase tickets for any other events offered. Ill travel to Detroit before going to this place again. In short. Terrible parking, disgusting restrooms and terrible hospitality.

Great venue for a comedy show. We upgraded to VIP and it was well worth it. Originally had balcony seats and my teen on crutches would have never made it up to our seats. With upgrade we got a table for 4 very near the stage, waiter to bring drinks, and a bathroom steps away. Its a smaller place so it was loud, I can see where it would not be the best for a rock show.

This was a hidden secret to me in Cleveland! My boyfriend and I went to see Tom Segura here back in February. Ticketmaster had listed the incorrect time so we were in line outside for around an hour before we were able to enter. Being February, it was freezing! No fault of the Masonic though and once they opened the doors we got inside quickly where it was nice and warm. It is a smaller venue, but that’s great because I don’t think there would be a bad seat anywhere! We sat to the right of the stage and while the seats are small, it was a great location! I’m curious how the sound would be for a concert, but for a comedian this was an excellent venue.

Ok so I sit here 60 min too early for the show. My Live Nation ticket says show at 7pm that’s it. We and many others get here around 630 to park...almost nothing available close by. Then we have to line up outside. No one knows why. They opened the doors at 7. Why was that not on the tickets? Not Masonic’s fault really and as I sit here with google their site gives details of doors at 7 and show at 8. No link between Live Nation and Masonic info. So what to do. Eat and drink. No way. Horrible cold breaded chicken patty sandwich or dead hot dogs. Really? Wine in a can. Really. Venue has cleaned up with paint etc since last here but you really need a serious food and liquor upgrade. Really shameful especially seeing a world class band like Snarky Puppy. Cleveland we have a long way to go.

Went to see the Alan Cox Comedy Tour. The building was beautiful. It has been some years since I have been to this venue, but it was recently restored and they did a great job. The sound quality was on point. The seats were comfortable enough for a 2 hour show. The bar was quite expensive, but I think that was a contracted vendor, not associated with the venue. Easily one of the worst Cleveland venues. Tickets have assigned seating until you get there and then its a free for all. So expect to have much worse seats than what you paid for. Want a drink? The bar is a few tables with some alcohol strewn about. Have a hankering for something cold? Too bad. Most likely they havent organized well enough to restock in time so none of it is cold. Hope you like heinously overpriced liquor. They closed the parking lot off even though it had almost no cars. Cash only. Sound would be ok for speaking... maybe. What might be the worst part is the wasted potwntial. Severely disappointed.

The auditorium itself is quite lovely. However, the building could use some updates. Id start with bathrooms. There were only 2 womens restrooms available for an entire theater full of people. For the duration of the event, the line for the restroom was out the door and down the hallway. To compound the issue, 2 of the stalls in the upstairs restroom were out of order. We were seated in the balcony which affords a great view of the entire space. I highly recommend balcony seating - with the caveat that you are sure-footed in the dark. There is no hand rail on the stairs leading to the upper tier, and no lighting to guide the way either. Proceed with caution!TL;DR Nice place, but pee first and bring a flashlight.

Su
Review β„–54

What makes this venue great are the acts themselves and the acoustics which are pretty nice when the sound guy gets it right. Seating is very comfortable, and there arent many bad seats in the house although you dont want to be in the mezzanines that are closest to the stage. Arrive early to find a parking lot, and you probably will have to walk a ways. Would give this place five stars but there are some major detractions. First there is no air conditioning. They are attempting to cool the place by opening the side doors before, during intermission, and after the show. But on a night when it was in the 70s outside, the auditorium was like a steam room. Secondly, there are no ushers actively engaging with the people that are attending the show. My husband and I walked in and attempted to find our seats, but the labeling is so difficult to see at times we werent even sure which section we were in and actually ended up sitting in the wrong seats for a time. Thirdly, I dont know whos in charge of the information that is put on tickets, but generally the time thats on the ticket is the time the show starts. For the first time ever in all my years of attending concerts, I had a ticket that said 6:30 and the show wasnt scheduled to start until 7:35. So my husband and I left work early, battled crazy traffic in order to make it to the auditorium by 6:10, and then we found out the show was not scheduled to start until 7:35. Ridiculous. Inexcusable. When others found out as well they were very angry. We all could have had dinner after work and then come to the show. The lesson here is call in advance and check the time-- at least with this venue. Im sure there will be many people who will not be back. We might be, but its got to be a really good act.

Beautifully restored venue. Havent been there in 10 years, but the new facility is fantastic! Lots of parking nearby so no need to pay for parking. The auditorium is wonderful. Doesnt understand what gen admission means. I bought 2 general admission tickets. Were listed as best available and were in balcony & same price as general admission mezzanine & floor. So Im sitting in balcony and noticed barely anyone on floor & saw a sign that indicated I could upgrade my ticket. So I ask about that and was told I could upgrade my balcony ticket for a floor ticket for $200. Not a typo....$200 for a ticket that originally costs $35 to access an area that is 1/4 full.

Nice place for a concert, except that the acoustics in the balcony seem quite muddy. The audio was fine on the first level of seats. Plenty of parking nearby. Also when the concert is over, this building empties out very quickly. This may not be that important to some people, but I hate that shuffling-along-like-cattle, crowded claustrophobic slow marching exit thing. I have enough trouble already waiting in the grocery check out line, much less pressed shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of drunken, smelly sweaty people. So thats a bonus.
