Years ago my husband Doug and I ran into major issues with our BMW, which we have since sold. We were quoted outrageous prices by so called german car experts. We went with what we were told to only find the issue reoccur. We took it to J&D and to our surprise they found that the work wasnt done properly. J&D ended up helping us rectify the issue and charged us so much less than we were ever quoted. The friendliness, honesty, knowledge, and overall professionalism has stuck with us over the years. Our friend is now in need of service on his older car and they were the first place that came to mind. Happy to recommend this business to anyone.

Went to this shop as it was highly recommend and I knew it was a small local shop so Im happy to keep my business small and local. Had an alignment done but got no printout of the before or after results. Zero communication with the tech that did the work. For a small shop it felt impersonal and I didnt feel important or appreciated.

Always good and honest people that provide very good service. I didnt use them since 2015 because I had to buy a new car. Im happy to be back.

Went here to get a compression test. The customer service was decent at best. The mechanic that did the test wasnt the friendliest. I left with the agreement that they would do the work on the engine for me but they told me they had to talk with owner first and would call me after. The owner was at the shop so I dont know why they couldnt talk right there. Needless to say, they never called me back either.

Family owned good prices and honest repair

I called this business to get quote to do my Timing Belt, because I saw that they had done it a while back for the previous owner and I know he took pride in the upkeep of the truck so I suspect, he would only use a reputable shop. I normally do all my repairs, but if I could find a shop to do it for a good price, Ill have them do it. I certainly would not have paid Toyota $1400, for that, Id do it myself. The price here was great, so needless to say, they will be doing my TB. Now Ive been around long enough to recall, when most auto shops were independently owned and were reputable, doing only the work that was needed and was not trying to up-sell, everything remotely related to what had to be done. It was a breath of fresh air, when I heard the genuineness in the lady, who answered the phone, and also in the guy who did a follow up call. I could tell that this was one of the few gems left around. I had long given up on the Auto Repair industry, because it has evolved into a big con job. These guys havent even done my work yet, but I felt compelled to leave a review. And based on the other reviews, Im confident, my optimism is well placed. Im heading back to Bermuda, so Ill be making my appointment, as soon as I return. I see two one stars, one seems to have the wrong shop and the other, leaving on star without saying anything so thats likely a competitor, trying to sabotage.

First, I want to say I currently live 3 1/2 hours away but I still have a home in Clermont that I visit frequently. I was visiting and I had a issue with my car. I went to see if they could fix it so I could get back home. The first thing was said we have not seen you in years. That made me feel so appreciated that they still knew who I was. They all have such beautiful spirit!!! I am so thankful for them.

Not only did they charge me half of the price everywhere else was quoting me, but they were able to order a part from the dealer AND have my car fixed, back & running the very next day, as opposed to 2-3 days like expected. They are the friendliest ladies at the counter, and the best mechanics in town. They are definitely going to be my new mechanics, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants trustworthy, reliable, and honest people to work on their vehicles!

This is a family owned and operated Auto Repair Shop. Darrell, Jamie and all the staff of J&D are awesome! Great customer service. I have taken all 5 of my families vehicles to them for various work to be done and have referred many friends and neighbors to them. The work they have performed for us varied from oil changes, brakes/front end alignment to tune ups and electrical repairs. Cooling issues like a/c work and installed a manual clutch and transmission for my dads old pickup truck. I trust Darrel and his staff to do any work I need done and highly recommend them.

The service that Jaime & Darrel provide is top notch. We have been going to them for years. Our first encounter with them was years ago. I had gone to get an oil change in Clermont and before leaving I was told I had about a $1,000 worth of service that I needed to get done, if I wanted to be driving in a safe car. I called my husband and he told me get your car and bring it to J&D. I did and yes the car needed service, $300 worth of service, not $1k. Jaime & Darrel always take good care of our cars and today they did it again. We have an old, high mileage Toyota which needs a lot of repairs for it to be perfect; however, they were kind enough to let us know that if we didnt want to put out a lot of money they could repair just the items that would have the car run safely. Thats exactly what we did. It feels great to say, You can trust J&D!

I do the repairs on my own cars, including my hot rods and classic automobiles, except those I dont have the correct tools or knowledge to do. J&D is the only place I trust to do those repairs. Honest and dependable repairs from this company. Its hard to find both (or either) of those qualities in an auto repair shop, but I found it here. My vehicle undercarriage was damaged, and I chose to have my car sent here for repairs. From the front desk staff to the auto repair guys in the back, everyone was professional and courteous to me. The delay on the repairs was due to an error by the insurance adjustor, and J & D was kind enough to keep me in the loop about the status of my car. I recommend them to friends and family.
