Great place to run in and get items that you normally buy at Costco even though they dont carry everything but almost!

Huge store that caters more for businesses of very large families. I.e, a cash and carry store. Prices generally no better than competing supermarkets like Walmart, but there were some things cheaper, like a good offer on Cheeses. Easy to park close to store on Monday lunch time.

Great for prepared foods for large groups and kitchen goodies. Like a Smart and Final if youre from the west coast

I would like to thank farse 46 Biden for the increase in food costs due to fuel prices going up, that caused trucking prices to go up. Beef up over 65%, chicken up 55%. Fish up over 50%. Pork 100%. Used to get a 6 to 8 weeks worth of meats for around 120.00 now 197. With discounted items.This family will be spending more, eating less.Still a good store but savings is gone.

Some prices are good in bulk while others are not quite so good.

I like shopping there because of the friendly service staff, and the variety of items and prices.

Smoked meat and BBQ enthusiasts need to know Gordons. Better cuts and better prices than Sams. And its in stock around holidays, unlike Sams. Perfect place to buy for large picnics or group meals.If you normally smoke Pork Butts, shoulder, or picnics, I strongly suggest their boneless Pork Cushion. These cuts take the better parts of the picnic and butt for only a few pennies a pound more.Their target customers are restaurants and institutions, so it wont replace Publix. But if you need a whole deli ham you slice yourself, you can get it for 10% of what Publix Deli charges. Chicken, hot dogs, eggs, 5 to 8lb trays of sides ready to bake and eat. We love this place.

GFS is always well stocked with food or service items, for restaurants, parties, or every day needs.Every one there is extremely helpful and courteous and go out of their way to help you. Find what you need.They carry a wide range of bulk food (frozen and fresh) to snack and even spices.They also carry paper products, cleaning supplies, banquets supplies, pans.I would definitely recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff, great selection of all things frozen, and specials every week. Lots of other choices, too. Most things are in large quantities. Everything is restaurant quality. What more could you ask for!? Just bring your own bags.

We have been shoppibg at GFS for quite a while. Its a store you can buy in bulk without a membership and the prices are reasonable. They are well stocked and the staff is very friendly.

Your one stop shop for bulk meat, veggies, and frozen items that are found in wholesale stores. Heck, even bulk items for a bake sale and grill party without needing a membership card!!!As a former employee in the restaurant business, this store was the go to for most of our resupplying the inventory when the restaurant ran low on produce and condiments.When I was tasked with getting the supplies, I was surprised my manager sent me to this place. I didnt even know it existed! Then seeing the prices and sales of products that I had been buying every time I held a wholesale membership card. NO CARD necessary here.Just walk right in and grab the stuff you need. One thing to note is that most of the products are either huge in package size or frozen. This store sells for restaurants across the the entire county. So, most of their products are great for bulk sells.Dont believe me? Check out their meat sales. If I had an extra freezer I would have enough prepared meat for six months with their sales.I would even recommended shopping at GFS for all those holiday season sales. You be surprised how much you can save on a turkey or ham.

Great prices on the basics. They carry a great variety of products. Going there is like a do-it-yourself banquet supply store. They carry Chefs equipment and uniforms. A wide variety of food storage containers. Great prices on Janitorial supplies. Wide assortment of delicious desserts (cakes, cupcakes, pastry, breakfast cakes, puddings, cookies, danishes) appetizers - side dishes. meats. Fresh produce. Fresh dairy. This store is great.

Great store, lots of money saving items for individuals, its not just for restaurants. Lots of fresh meat, always something on special at a very good price. This week it was pork tenderloins, a lot cheaper than the BOGO prices at Winn Dixie!

Very nice store with a large selection of items. The items are mostly large packagings. I am a true shopper and I always check price before I buy.I found them more expensive on most items. Example for 3lb bacon they cost $5 more than Save a Lot. However the items that I did find them well priced was mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, sliced bulk pepperoni slices, sliced hard salami. Other than that very expensive.Access to the store is easy and the staff were fairly friendly.

I love coming to this store for my favorite staples. Great prices. Wonderful service and the store is always so clean and orderly.

Sometimes they have what youre looking for, some other times not....eggs price is too fluctuating....almost a dollar more the day after for the same 6 dozen eggs....;Ground meat says 81 lean/29 fat....fake!!, more fat than other brands that suppose to have more;Boneless and skinless chicken breast: when you slice it to serve and you have to eliminate 1 pound in 10 between skin and bones that starts to be a problem....not to mention the fact that it smells like a dead....so i think that even the best by date is a fake, otherwise they have serious problems stocking properly refrigerated food.....In my Country a store that sell food in this condition would be closed instantly and the owner sued for attack to public health....Ill never purchase meat here...

Good place to go if youre going to buy a lot of stuff for a family or in bulk. I go there when Im buying for a party. Its similar to Sams. Youll find deals on certain items if you take the time to price check. Ive noticed the staff is friendly and the isles are clean the few times I have been there. Always left happy.

Gordon Food Service, AKA GFS, is a great place to shop! We can get wonderful meats there, including baby back-ribs for smoking and whole pork tenderloins... and the products are reataurant quality! They also have whole beef briskets, steaks, and cheeses! Yummy stuff!

Goo bulk place not many young people know about

I am a Personal Chef and I made the mistake of ordering online at this store on a Wednesday, 3 days ahead of my event so I could pick up my items the day before. The online confirmation said my order would be ready by 11:30am that Friday. I arrived at 4:30 pm and my order was NOT ready!!! They sent two employees scrambling to fulfill my order, but they still left off two items. I shopped online to make my life easier. Instead, they caused me nothing but stress!!! If you choose to shop at this store, do yourself a favor and do it yourself - DONT order online!!!

This store is always neatly stocked and the staff is very helpful. I do wish, however, that they would again stock the raspberry and bourbon sauces.

Carts are TOO SMALL...MOST items are not in cases...so you are forced to repack items. If you want full cases of anything most times you have to hunt down help.....not easy. Few spices available in 5# bulk....one pounders VERY EXPENSIVE!Leaving the store most times....product falls off cart because the slope on sidewalk.....Always have to repack items...not fun.The staff VERY NICE.....VERY VERY NICE. NOT THEIR FAULT THAT THEIR COROORATE PEOPLE DONT HAVE IT TOGETHER.Usually only one lane open and if something is not right you can wait a LONG TIME to check out....
