I tried several times to schedule a donation pick up. Called, called and no one during business hours picks up. Finally I reached someone who told me the truck was broken and the would call two days later to schedule pick upOf course no one called and when I called the store no one picked up the phone.These arrogant people do not serve the needy at all !

Had several items I wanted to purchase as well as a vintage piece that had no price. After having to search around for an actual employee since no one was at the register I asked if I could get a price on unmarked item. Guy informed me that there were other pieces in the back that went with the item and that’s why it hadn’t been priced yet. He retrieved the other accessories from the back and when I asked again for a price he said he would have to look it up online to determine price and value. I told him I was interested in purchasing now and was told he didn’t have time to look now even though there were several people working an only one other customer. Needless to say I put all the items I had intended to purchase back on the shelf since no one seemed to have any interest in actually making a sale. Will not be backEdit to add response to owners reply:I do not “feel that I had a bad shopping experience.”It was a bad shopping experience. I understand that a piece was accidentally put on the floor. However, when I asked you about it, your exact response was “I need to look it up on the internet to see what it is worth.” You then proceeded to bring out all the other parts for me to see. When I again asked you for a price, you pulled out your phone to look it up but then said you did not have time and would not be able to give me a price today.That is ridiculous. It would have taken you a few minutes to research the piece and determine a fair price. However, it is obvious that you had other intentions.Additionally, this is a non profit organization thrift store. You should not be so greedy.Responding as though you did nothing wrong here, is also wrong.Letting this negative review stand for all to see, will hopefully make you will think before you attempt such shenanigans with another customer.

I was do excited that a place was taking my 97 year old parents furniture and misc. All furniture was in good shape, but not perfect. When they arrived they took less than half the furniture because it was not perfect. They went threw boxes to see if they wanted what was inside. So disappointing that a thrift store had to have items in perfect condition. I remember when a thrift store would take anything and fix it up to sell. Now I am left with all of this stuff and have 1 day to find a person to pick it up. I would NEVER recommend them. Very sad.

Very rude when we dropped items off. Didn’t even help unload the car. Will not bring our items there again. Very sad to see people lack simple customer service skills.

I called because I was misinformed if the services available and the man who returned my call was extremely rude. I cant believe a charity would treat someone this way hope you get more kind hearted compassionate volunteers in the future.

Great place to go

Really organized and most items there are in good condition. The staff normally is friendly but today I donated some items and a man whom I haven’t seen there before, was a bit scary and extremely rude. I almost put my items back into my car and left which in hindsight I should have. But, I don’t feel comfortable going back now and will be donating elsewhere.

Always find great deals. My neighbor was manager there and my family also gave great donations for years. Unfortunately the new management is very abrupt, need lessons in customer service. Jessica has been very helpful and I only continued shopping and donating because of her kindness. Recently the woman manager disgraced a homeless man because he had a voucher of some sort for clothes but did not have his size. She embarrassed him in front of everyone. Cost me $20 that I felt I should give the man to shop elsewhere for pants. She is a disgrace. I will shop at the New Port Richey store because of it.

There’s a new girl there with curly hair and she’s very rude. I reported her and I’m not sure what happen after but when I returned back to the store she saw me and started laughing. I’m a regular at this store but if this is the type of staff that’s working there and the type of behavior that’s allowed I won’t be returning. She was even disrespectful in front of one of the managers and this girl is continuously starting trouble with me. I’m not sure if it a racial thing because I’ve seen her be friendly with others, I will find another thrift store to shop at it’s not worth the disrespect.

The staff is always friendly and I have always been welcomed with a smile. There is such a wide variety of items, clothes and furniture. I bought a cute patio set and it just needed a tiny bit of paint to make it look brand new. I normally dont shop at thrift stores because they sometimes feel dirty, it doesnt feel that way here at all !!

Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. It was 25% off the furniture the day that I was there, but it was still expensive. They have a lot to choose from but prices are high. If I had the time to dig Im sure I would have found something wonderful. But I got frustrated with the high prices.

If you havent shopped here in awhile or never have shopped here, you must see the new remodeled store. Memorial Day weekend the staff and volunteers rearranged the majority of the merchandise. It looks very appealing. A must see. No, I do not work there. I am just a regular customer. They even welcome my shopper friendly dog, Oliver.

The majority of these reviews are terrible. iseems like something should be done about the terrible reviewswill keep me from even shopping there for a first-time. Something should actually be done to improve these reviews but it doesnt sound like anything is being done.

What a fun and quirky store. The staff is friendly and I always find good quality items. I was surprised to find that they have an entire other building just for furniture. Great deals.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an amazing place to shop. They have many sections to look around at. I have heard stories of the facualty being rude, but have never expierenced it, and hopefully never will. I love going to the shoe section since they always have good brands to choose from. There prices and sales are amazing. I started going here a few months ago since all other thrift stores prices went through the roof. There prices are very reasonable. Whenever I go in there the staff asks me if I need any help finding anything and I am very thankful for that. Thank you for being such an amazing store to shop.

US19 Store, An older staff member become angry calling me pushy, when I politely asked the price of an item which had no tag. (the store is largely un-tagged so there is no way to get a price with out asking) I returned another day and asked the manager about the price of the item, she was shaking then glared me down and blurted at me that the item was NO LONGER FOR SALE and that she was busy. She was so visibly stressed out I was concerned for her. I backed away, smiled and told her and calmly said that it was OK, I can see you are busy and left. I donate all to this store consistently. Ive bought from this store consistently. Im a great customer. Valued customers do not deserve to be treated like this by management.

Found some interesting things here. They have a lot on offer and fair pricing.

Ok for a thrift store. Not great. Staff were not very attentive. $ 5 minimum to use a debit card. I couldnt buy what I chose as it didnt total $5.

The ladies at the customer desk were more interested in talking to just each other, and their Hispanic customers. Not very nice, nor professional.

The clothing is very cheap, and is half off if you shop on a Tuesday. The clothes are of great quality and change frequently.

We have always lived shopping at St Vincent DePaul. Great inventory & comfort atmosphere.
