I am warning you now, do not hire this company for ANYTHING!!! I paid Chris Gash over $55,000 and his fraudulent company is not able to complete the renovation on a house. Half the work his company did do is illegal and will not pass city inspections. Over a month, I thought about just staying quiet and allow GOD to take care of people like this, but I dont want what happened to me, to happen to anyone else. Dont even consider doing business with this company.

Worst experience possible. Chris brought in contractors that destroyed our home and has left us with costly legal action against the contractors and sub-contractors. Unlicensed and non-permitted work was done to our home and the 203k contract was never fulfilled to completion. There are a laundry list of things Chris can do for you, but he never signs a contract with you so that when he doesnt come through on his end of the bargain there is nothing you can do about it. He has no control over the contractors and is just another middle man. Avoid at all costs.

Chris went above and beyond to make my remodel experience good. I had many issues with the contractor but Chris worked hard to resolve the issues. I will never use that contractor again, but I will use Chris.

Everything Joshua & Kaitlin Chmil and Leo Boyton have said is verbatim to what I am going through.... work began on my home October 1, 2018 and even though they are paid in full, the work is still not finished. Chris Gash wrote a very amateurish contract, made all the promises, set up all the work to be done, hired the contractors and collected my checks which were written out to Craven Construction... nothing has Chris Gashs name on it so he is able to continue ripping people off. After checking with the city of St Pete Beach I discovered that only one permit was pulled and that was for my new garage door... some of the work Craven Construction gutted my kitchen & master bath, new flooring throughout, new deck flooring on my 2 front balconies, etc.... things were not finished and alot of the work that was completed is now falling apart. I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection and when Chris Gash responded to the complaint he called me a blatant liar. Steve Chamberland (Craven Construction) stated they wanted to correct the problems. As of this date the work is still not completed and the only time Steve Chamberland sends anyone over to look at what needs to be done is when I continually call or text him... I am now looking into other ways to correct this problem.

Update: Leaving an honest review of my very costly experience earned me a cease and desist letter. As of today the only positive reviews I have heard/read are from other realtors.Everything Chriss recommended contractors touched in my home is falling apart. For us, every single promise listed on his website was a lie including his history and relationship with the contractor he brought in. It feels like 90% of our free time is now spent fixing the mess he put us in and our waste of $65,000 (so far). We are going to be paying for trusting him for the next 30 years. Our 3 week promised project is now passing 7 months and were left with a house that has unlevel flooring with giant gaps, cracks in our brand new bathtub, unfinished work, closet doors falling off, issues with insurance because a permit for our roof was never pulled, cracked control panel on our new dishwasher, and a million other smaller damages. This is not an unfortunate rarity for him, his decisions were deliberate. He lied about his relationship with the contractor he recommended, he lied about his involvement in overseeing work being done, he lied to cover things up, and now even the contractors will not talk to him anymore.*I retract my previous statement that Chris belongs in jail. It was our fault for working with someone who didnt offer a contract and had no customer reviews for us to look into.
