Carly was incredibly pro-active, responsive and patient as we planned and made final decisions. The set-up and break down crew were punctual, very hard working and attentive to all details. Used Gabro for Edison string lighting for son’s wedding. Could only afford small set as they were on tight budget. Gave us full package as the next day’s event purchased full package. Lights we’re already up went we got there to set up. When the strands did not work they came out and fixed it immediately. No one even realized they were there. Would gladly recommend and use them again.

Working with Gabro event services was a great experience. Being a COVID bride, we had to postpone our wedding four times! They were extremely professional with our date changes. Their work was also amazing! They def don’t take any shortcuts. I had many compliments from guests. Anything we wanted they made happen. While planning a wedding there are a million things to do and many vendors to contact. Luckily they were one of the best we have worked with. Every time we mentioned Gabro Event Services to our other vendors they said we made the right choice and they love working with them. Gabro provided gold chiavari chairs, a large black-and-white checkered dance floor, and market lights for our wedding at Davis Islands Garden Club. These items totally transformed the space! We initially contacted Gabro Event Services to handle the decor for our wedding (table cloths, chairs, etc), and in the end we also used them for florals after our previous florist did not work out, in addition to day of coordination. Amanda Gabro was our primary form of contact from start to end and she was hands down one of the most hard working people we have ever met! She did our day of coordination herself after her initial DoC was no longer able to coordinate our wedding. She stuck with us from beginning to end and went above and beyond for us. On our wedding day, her crew was there to set everything up. She was there to ensure everything ran smoothly, including important things such as the timeline of the wedding to small things such as making sure the bridal party was hydrated throughout the day. She never appeared to be overwhelmed, flustered, upset, etc. She handled everything with a smile; our bridal party, parents, and even our guests raved about her! At the end of our wedding (1am) her crew came back on the spot to pack everything up. Amanda is truly one of a kind and we would recommend her for any type of wedding! Like someone mentioned below, our destination wedding was unfortunately cancelled. We were due to marry in June but decided to postpone to October with the hopes that the pandemic would be better. With the spike in cases in Florida and other states, the governors of CT and NJ (where the bulk of our guests were traveling from) have implemented a travel advisory that requires 14 day quarantine when returning from affected states like Florida. As a wedding wouldn’t be much of a wedding with no guests in attendance, we opted to cancel and try to schedule something back home in CT. As other brides might understand, I simply did not want to postpone my wedding for the 2nd time. With the help of our wedding coordinator, we reached out to all of our vendors to inform them of this difficult situation. I will say, while we did not get all of our money back (which we didn’t expect), all of our vendors were willing to work with us in some capacity to find a suitable resolution where everyone would be happy. I CANNOT say the same for Gabro. Quite frankly they were the most unprofessional vendor I’ve ever encountered. I had sent a few emails with no response. My fiancé decided to email them as well to ask that someone please call us to discuss. Sidney, whose role I don’t know at Gabro, did not call us and instead decided to contact our coordinator to say they would not be issuing any partial refund and would not be in contact. More or less “read the contract” which I might add she told me wasn’t actually signed by me ??? I can not recommend this company less. After such difficult times you could at least treat your clients with respect and professionalism. I have more I’d like to say, if you are a potential bride looking to use this company please reach out to me. I know we all rely heavily on these reviews especially when planning a wedding from out of state

We used Gabro Event Services for our lighting for our wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club in May 2019. While lighting seems like such a small detail, it sets the atmosphere for the reception. Their team set up and broke down in a timely manner, and the lighting sections we chose were perfect for the number of guests we had at the reception. The lighting was the absolute perfect touch, and Kabe was very helpful making sure I had lighting in the right areas and staying within our budget.

One star only because I cant give them zero stars! On the morning of December 16, 2019 one of our neighbors had a delivery from Gabro Event Services. The delivery driver entered our community through the exit gate and damaged the gate. The repairs cost $2000. The owner of Gabro is denying that they are responsible for this, saying they were not on our property on that day. Do not do business with this irresponsible and unscrupulous vendor!!!

Sydney and Gabro staff have made a stressful job, easy. They took on the task to decorate two different buildings and had done so with ease. Communication was on point before, during and after. Will be using them again for my future 3 events.

Gabro Event Services is the best! I planned my daughters baptism with them and it was everything I envisioned and more! They were patient during the planning process and everyone was so nice. The DJ was fun and kept the party going all night. We used them for all the rentals and draping, up lighting, and a white dance floor, and florals. They even created a custom backdrop for me that was the focal point of the event. Kabe and his staff are all very professional and I highly recommend them for any event!

Unfortunately our destination wedding was scheduled during the coronovirus pandemic so we decided to cancel the celebration keeping the health and safety of our guests in mind. With no end in sight and no vaccine still we didn’t feel comfortable postponing. Our Decorator had hired the services of Gabro Event for a dance floor rental on our behalf and requested we reach out to them to see if there’s any way we could at least get a part of our deposit back if not the entire amount. So I called Gabro and spoke with Sydney to see if there’s anything they would be willing to do. She refused to answer any questions, said to go read the contract, said they had already spent all of our money, and hung up on us. The least we can expect at this time is for people to not be hurtful. We understand if a refund is not possible but you can at least speak cordially. We haven’t had such an experience with any of our other vendors.

Jackie was awesome! They were really flexible and delivered everything a day early at the last minute. Picked up everything on time and were really professional. Very nice people too and great to deal with. I would highly recommend for any event.

Mr Kabe Gabro is a complete thief we replaced his power unit on his box truck that was authorized by his employee Jacob when time came to pay $1800.00 invoice he chose to dispute invoice and not pay left are repair facility which has been in business since 1975 returned later and stole truck off property without paying invoice I would never trust giving this man a nickel he’s a complete thief

Gabro was the DJ and did the pipes and drapes for my wedding. They were awesome! Everything looked great, and everyone at the wedding had such a good time dancing. The music portal for me to pick/add songs for the wedding was super convenient as well, props to that. I would definitely recommend.

Gabro did a Fantastic job for our 1-4-19 wedding. They provided our market lighting and Chivari chairs for 149 guests. Communication was excellent throughout, payment reminders were sent ahead of due date and they had a convenient online payment system (thank god as I hate dealing with checks). They also showed up right on time and were there prior to me delivering all the alcohol the morning of the event. Everything was perfect and the supervisor was there the whole time I was making sure every table was set exactly where needed.

We had him do a beautiful beach setup with draping, up-lights, bistro lights and white furniture all out in the sand. It was beyond what I had hoped. There arent enough good things that I can say about Gabro Events!! They were absolutely amazing!! I hired them for my wedding in February 18, 2017 for uplighting, a fairy light back drop and for our monogrammed gobo, and they set them up better then I could have even asked for!!
