I want to thank the staff at Data Retrieval for their help with a recent calamity with my computer. I had called them a few weeks ago about the strange things my computer was doing. Larry said to bring the computer in and let them check it out, because it sounded like it had a virus. I delayed in doing that...it seemed the computer had corrected itself. I thought all was well, and then the computer crashed. Nothing I did would bring it back up. So I drove it over to Data Retrieval and Larry did the diagnostic tests on it. Yes, it had a virus...lots of them. He said he could fix it and he certainly did. I got my computer back a few days later as promised and it worked fine. I first met Larry (of Data Retrieval Services Inc.) at a computer security conference in May of 2004. Since then, Larry recovered several hard drives for me - getting all of the information off the drives. He also worked on several flash drives - 2 successes and one failure. Given the difficulty in recovering data from damaged media, that is an excellent track record.The thing that everyone forgets is that data recovery services do not come with a guarantee. If the data is not there, it cant be recovered. Larry always makes his clients aware of that, and includes it in his contracts.I will continue to use Larrys services and will also continue to recommend his services.

Whenever I have had a crashed disk in my business or at home I go to Larry for Data recovery. I know it can be a challenging task, but he knows how to approach it from every angle.

Definitely not for the personal computer owner. Had a laptop where the hard drive could not be read anymore. Called these guys and they told me it would be $300.00 just to look at it. There were some important files on the computer so bit the bullet and paid the $300.00. A week later they told me I would need to purchase an identical hard drive (they provided the E-Bay link), bring it in and pay an additional $600.00. When I asked if the data could be retrieved (after paying the $600.00), they said they didnt know. I guess its the special type of customer who will pay over $900.00 for a service that may or may not be rendered.

Oh my god. Do not hire this guy Larry he is so dishonest a total lier. He ripped us off for 2500.00 we trusted this company to retrieve data from 2 of our computers. He retrieved absolutely nothing. We paid him up front a lot of money for nothing in return. There are plenty of computer forensic specialists out there. Do not get ripped off by Larry at (data retrieval services). I will be posting more on this guy soon when we get our computers back from the real professional. Beware peaple. This guy is a real fraud................

We made a very big mistake and erased several of our production hard drives. We called many companies and was told that it was impossible to retrieve our videos. These videos represented several months of work and would be next to impossible to recreate. Larry was able to retrieve all of the videos and documentation. We would highly recommend Larry.

I contacted Data Retrieval in desperation on a Saturday morning because my external hard drive failed and it contains 15 years of client back ups. Larry worked tirelessly all weekend and had my recovered drive ready for me on Sunday evening.
