DO NOT use this company!! Look on the Better Business Bureau first! (Also read the way he responds to poor reviews calling customers horrible names) I wish I would have! I hired them to reglaze my tub and tile. I paid in cash. The owner acknowledged that there were drips due to humidity and would be back the NEXT day to fix them. Not only were there drips, but complete missed areas AND they sprayed ALL over my brand new floor tile. He did not call or come then or to the next TWO appointments chosen by him over the next two weeks. They do not call or return contact. There is NO record of the license that is listed on the receipt and they have an F on the Better Business Bureau all complaints in the last few month of this exact occurrence. This is actually criminal that they are taking cash from people, botching the job and then disappearing. I have included pictures.

My mother who is still dealing with my fathers death has now been taken advantage of with non professional work that now left her with a mess to clean up and an unfinished job. No quote or paper work has been properly processed.She attempted to call to get input and has since dodged her calls. Have used Mike multiple times for various properties, and have recommended his services to our friends and business associates. We are so pleased with the quality and professionalism he provides for whatever we need him to do. He has resurfaced tubs and sinks for us, and has always stood by his work with an outstanding warranty. We can always count on a job not just done well, but done outstandingly.

Mike was hired to reglaze a tub at our rental property while we were out of town. When we returned and I inspected the property 6 weeks later I saw his work was already failing and was extremely poor quality, sandy and bumpy. I immediately contacted Mike but he was slow to respond. He finally said he would come in 2 weeks but when I asked to clarify time and a few other times he became aggressive and threatened to block my number. I have asked for my funds to be returned but I doubt this will occur. Do not use this business.

Mike runs a horrible business. He guaranteed me he could reglaze my old, chipped and scratched bathtub and make it look new. All other quotes required me to get it stripped first prior to glazing. Mike said they were overselling me and went ahead and put on multiple layers of paint to hide the chips and cracks. The result was catastrophic. The paint pooled and bubbled everywhere. I can literally pull the coats off with my hand exposing the original surface. The sprayer he used left paint all over the bathroom fixtures and all over everything he did not cover. The spray from the gun also hit my bathroom tiles, so now those are covered in specs of white. He literally DESTROYED my entire bathroom. The tub photo is AFTER he did the work!!!!! The purple fixture is ruined (It should be solid purple) and I now have white specs on my tile above his tape line. Mike came and destroyed my bathroom for $249 dollars.

Mike did a great job in our bathroom. It was harvest gold and has now become a dazzling white. Big beautiful difference. He also transformed our white kitchen counter top to a beige speckled look-a- like marble top. Just beautiful.

We hired Mike to reglaze our shower. When making first appointment Mike scheduled for one time but prior to that appointment had the courtesy to call and say he was running late which was fine because we appreciated the communication. He gave a later time that day which he called and had to reschedule that to either a later time in the evening or another day. We opted for the later time in the evening because we had already booked a hotel so as not to be in the house overnight with the fumes as I’m pregnant. Mike came and was super friendly. We came back the next day to see the windowsill not even sprayed, not enough coating on parts of the shower and some cracking by the drain. We understand things happen and called him to reschedule. The day came and he messaged say he had an emergency and had to reschedule, which was fine as well because again things happen. Through text messages that I still have he rescheduled for Thursday, that time came and we called him and he said that he wrote another time down for Friday. Not sure how he was confused as I still have those messages confirming Thursday. He said he could do Friday. So Friday came and 30 mins late we tried calling him and no answer. Called 4 different times with no response or call back. As we were waiting we started looking at other reviews and saw others had the same issue. Mike was really nice until he was able to cash our check, sink then he completely changed. We are extremely disappointed that he didn’t come to fix the mistakes that he made. I personally wouldn’t use Mike again, not for the mistakes because they happen but for failing to follow through on correcting those mistakes or keeping his word. I’ve seen how he’s called some reviews fake. This is not a fake review as we paid him by check and still have the copy also have text messages from him. We were nothing but nice and friendly to him so we are unsure why it had to happen like this.Edit: 4 months later and the paint has been peeling,

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! My experience is the same as the others. The only difference are the excuses that Mike uses. At first he is polite and makes you feel like the job will be no problem. If there ARE any problems, Mike will correct them. That’s a BIG NEGATIVE. You’ll be lucky to have him respond. I give him zero stars. He never corrected the problem or refunded my money. No prep work done prior to spray. There are tear drops and stuff stuck throughout the entire tub. I could of done better with a can of spray paint. If you read the reviews off Google you will find 1 star and 5 star reviews. Apparently there are two Mikes. One will do a fantastic job, the other is shady, lazy, disrespectful, and crooked. Even his responses to customer reviews are concerning. Mike calls a women a “horrible pitiful lowlife”. My last communication was a text were he calls me a “girl” and he tells me to “go call Trump next and then Obama after that”. Even if someone complains to your business. Should you attack them on a personal level? You can also find formal complaints listed with the BBB. So roll the dice if you feel lucky. See which one you deal with. I was selling my rental and needed to redo the Master bathroom before the open house that weekend. Mike said no problem that they could do the job on Wednesday morning before the open house. They didn’t show up on Wednesday morning. Mike texted me just before Noon and said a guy called off and rescheduled for the next day between 10am & 11am. They assured me they could still get it done before the open house . A helper came out the next morning and started prepping the tile and left everything all taped up. I spoke with Mike at 11:15 am and he said he wasn’t there due to having a Root Canal. He mentioned nothing about not being on the job site the day before due to a scheduled root canal. Seems like lots of excuses. He said he would be back at my place at 3:30 pm but NEVER came back and never called me or my realtor back to let us know what was going on. When I spoke to the Mike earlier in the day he was going on that he’s running 2 Companies and he’s having a hard time keeping up with returning calls and texts. His helper told me the same thing earlier in the day that he should get someone to help him. I would definitely not recommend doing business with this company. They are extremely unprofessional and do not return any text or phone calls. If you read the other critical reviews there’s definitely a pattern here. This is not a fake review. I have pictures to prove it and I have text messages that I could post as well. Too bad he doesn’t take responsibility and just do what is right Beware !!! Stay away from this company.

These guys did awesome work on my tub! Looks like new! Mike and the guy helping him (sorry I forgot his name but remember hes from New York) were great! They took my old tub (a God-Awful aztec gold from the 70s) and made it look brand new! Thanks Mike!

Mike came to spray my tub with workers, the Glaze lasted around 2 weeks and started peeling. I call him and he came back and touched it up. after a week it peeled again. I have reached out to him several times and assured me he would fix it. he gave me a date and my wife removed everything from the bathroom . he never showed. he did this 2 more times and now he refuses to answer my calls.DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

I am so incredibly disappointed in this company and they never even came to get the actual work done. I asked for a quote which was entirely based off of a picture. When I mentioned that a coworker had the same work done at half the price, whoever responds to the emails basically laughed at me and said that was impossible and it was probably shoddy work. But it was THEIR company.I said fine to the price, we made an appointment and they never showed. I emailed a couple of times as well as called and didnt get an answer from either. When I responded saying that I was going to look elsewhere, I finally got a response saying that they were super busy and its hard to keep up with messages. BUT WHERE WAS THE COMMUNICATION THE DAY OF?!! So he says he still wants to do my project, I talk him down on price because I had to take time off from work to just sit home all day waiting for NO ONE to show. He agrees and says he can do the work Friday. I ask what time and he says, no Saturday. I ask what time and he says, no Monday. I say no, I prefer Friday or Saturday, what time will you be here. Not response. I follow up Friday evening in email AND text, no response. I just now, Saturday morning, an hour and a half after what our original appointment time was, received an email saying that he was trying to squeeze me in, but running behind. This is the day that he said that he had nothing else going on. Everything about the communication experience has been so incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. I have one bathroom in my house and need to stay with a relative while it cures. I keep adjusting my entire schedule and inconveniencing my family to accommodate his random rescheduling. Not to mention, I am having surgery next week and was eager to have this done beforehand. Would not recommend.EDIT: I cant reply to his response, so read my review again AFTER you read his response or go check the little back and forth we had on FB. He kept changing the date, to his own liking, without asking and with no regards to my schedule. And only reduced the price after I asked. The Saturday that he mentions, he initially specifically said that he had NO OTHER WORK and would be there. Not until the next day did he say If I have time.I am not hiding behind a keyboard as he suggests and would have been more than happy to tell him to leave had he ever showed up in the first place.I cant help but notice that it sounds a lot like he is threatening my life and property in his response.

New again did a terrible job reglazing my sink. I spoke with them the next day and told them I was not satisfied. I awould be leaving town. They told me to call him when I got return and they would be out the next day. Ive been back in town for two weeks now. Ive left several messages. No one calls me back. They did a terrible job. They dont stand behind their work. And they took advantage of me, a disabled veteran. I would not recommend new again to anyone.UPDATE: Mike did come back and redo my sink. He told me he had a family emergency and did not receive my messages. Before I had the opportunity to update my review, he posted negative comments about me in this forum. He is not being honest. He NEVER told me my sink needed more work. When I made the original appointment, he said it just needed to be sprayed. The sink looks better than after his first visit. But, it still looks like an amature did the work. l would suggest using another company given the lack of professionalism and the sub-standard work..

If I could give this man 100 stars I wouldFor one the quality of work was amazing!!!!!I hired him to fix a small chip in my tub that I attempted to fix on my own and he had it perfect and color matched in no time, while chatting I had mentioned I had to caulk the bath as well.. before I could say any more he had that done out of the kindness of own heart!On his way out he even gave my son a birthday gift.Its nice to know we still have some amazing people in this world . I will forever call him for every repair we may ever need .

After work this company does fantastic work would highly recommend they use Superior Products and are extremely professional and courteous I wouldnt use anyone else to do my refinishing and Ive been in the industry myself for over 20 years I would highly highly recommend Michael especially the highly-skilled skilled professional as you can get

Mike did our kitchen counter and backsplash and we loved it! He actually did a bathroom counter at that time and we were extremely happy. We got quotes for the cabinets and bathroom tile/tub at that time. Finally about a year later we asked him to do the shower tile and tub. He had someone fix a few tiles and then sprayed it by the end of the day, the smell is very bad so we didnt look at it till later, the paint was pooling on the tile and the tub pretty badly. We called him and he came out and actually looked at it but didnt fix it at that time but, promised to be back. He never showed at the promised time. Many attempts and excuses later we gave up. He never showed or bothered to call. We lost all trust in him. We cant recommend him, and unfortunately will never use him again.

Amazing results!!! I never knew this kind of transformation was possible. We went from pink and blue in one bathroom and salmon and turquoise in the other to beautiful shiny white tile that looks like new. All the grout is now sealed and a breeze to clean. Mike and his crew could not have been nicer. I would recommend this option to anyone looking to upgrade a bathroom. They can even re-do the tile windowsills that are so common in Florida.

Im extremely disappointed. Mike and his worker did a terrible job refinishing two of my tubs. They glazed over hairs and lint and debris as well as leaving chips and smear marks, all of which you can clearly see. We cant even use or clean the tubs as they basically feel like sand paper. I immediately called Mike the owner who said he would come out and fix it and for three weeks now he has missed every single promised appointment, each time coming up with a different excuse. On one occasion he sent a worker to the house and said no one answered, but my husband, myself and a friend were all in the front room by the door and did not hear a single knock. He promised to come out multiple times afterward, never showing up. I tried to be nice but unfortunately I was just ripped off. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Also look how he responds to his negative reviews - very unprofessional. I should have suspected him when he said he wouldnt take a credit card. Waste of $450. Ill look on Angies Lists to find an honest company with legitimte good reviews to come and fix this shoddy work.

Very unprofessional. They arrived late. The job they did was terrible. The paint bubbled up as soon as they left. They do not respond in a timely manner to emails, calls, or texts. After two weeks we finally scheduled for them to return, and they didnt show up.

This company is awful they do not know how to refinish the tub. The guy that came Michael has no clue that he should be removing fixtures that have rust behind them. He just wants to come in masking tape give it a quick spray and rip you off. He claimed he was come back a number of times but had 1 million excuses. One of his workers had a damaged hand his boss was in the hospital he had a flat tire.Do not use this company for anything.

Owner is a nice guy, but the rest of my experience was not good. He came over with helper and said they would match my color when he resurfaced the inside of the tub. color didnt match so I asked him to do the rest of tub. He agreed, which was cool, but then the work was really poor. he asked me to look it over when he finished and I found a bunch of mess ups. He fixed them, called me over again, and I found more errors. He corrected them and honestly I got sick of checking his work and assumed the rest was good. it was not. we have a series of drips I look at every time I sit on the toilet and my son complains because there are tiny rocks that scrape his body when he takes a bath because they werent removed when he glazed. Its uneven on the edges. I asked the owner to come fix the errors and he told me multiple times he would come over. after about 5 more tries I gave up and wrote this review.

Mike from new again did an outstanding job on my bathtub that was quite the wreck. it came out flawless and shined like new dime. to boot, he is a genuine kind guy, and one of his word. very integral. i say look no further than him for re-finishing your bathtub, and he does so much more bathroom work too.

I have to say this was the very best part of my home remodeling project they came on time covered everything and were very polite. They were concerned about our pets and ran extra vents to protect the dogs from vapors. The end result was fantastic and we couldn’t be happier. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. They were supposed to reglaze my tub at 11am today. It’s now 12:30 and no one has shown up or contacted me. I called but voicemail inbox is full. I texted but no response. This is highly unprofessional. If they are unable to keep an appointment the customer should be notified. 1 Star is too many.

After doing so and providing us with a 5 year warranty I thought we were in good shape.Two years later we have several cracks in a tub thats used maybe once a month. I called a month ago in attempts to get a service date for this company to honor their warranty. A month later, I finally scheduled an appointment for them to come by and do the work. After taking off work to meet them I slowly realize they just blew me off. When I call again to find out why, their response was that they forgot to schedule me. Now they wont even answer when I call.In short, they do shoddy work and dont honor their warranties. What kind of a contractor cant even stand behind their own work? When we contacted him to come back and fix the runs he kept promising that he would but kept giving excuses as to why he could not show up to do the work, and finally he didnt return our calls and messages. Run!!!!! Run away and fast! This company is the worst. They came to reglaze my tub and instead of making it look better, they actually made the tub worst. The didn’t prep the tub correctly and they where only there for like 15 minutes. The tub is more uglier then it ever was, including very grainy, and it keeps peeling. Don’t even dare to sit on the tub as your skin will peel off, since the tub feels like sandpaper. I contacted the owner to try to fix it and the guy never responds. Even though the receipt says 5 year warranty, it is a lie, it is not even worth the paper is printed on. I’ve been contacting the owner for over 6 months beginning from 3 days after he Reglazed the tub. I just want him to come back and fix the huge pile of trash job he did to our tub. They need to shut this company down and reimburse everyone whom this company has stole from by providing such a horrible, horrific, and unprofessional service. Do yourself a favor and find a real professional if you want your tub or anything reglazed.

I dont usually leave reviews, but felt the service I received from this company was so good that they deserved some positive feedback. We have been working so hard on remodeling our home here in St Pete and have definitely had some negative situations arise from various contractors, handy-men, and tradesmen. I guess thats why i felt the need to write a review for I have had more negative situations than positive ones over the past year and a half. The one thing that really stuck out in my mind about New Again Tub and Tile was the fact that they always kept to a set schedule which we established, and they always kept it very clean. I would say 90% of the people, who we have had working in our home, left their work areas dirty. I work hard to keep my home clean and appreciate attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. Mike and his crew made my bathtub look brand-new. After seeing the work on the tub, we decided to go ahead and do the cabinets, kitchen counters, and kitchen sink. There actually was a mess-up on the kitchen counters for it looked as if someone had dropped something on it while it was still wet and it created a big smudge. We called Mike to discuss the mess-up, and within 48 hours he was back at it and redid the entire counter!! The kitchen turned out PERFECT and my boyfriend finally admitted that it was a good move to have the kitchen done professionally! The real kicker is the fact that Mikes prices were actually cheaper than 4 other estimates we were given. I cant recommend these guys enough and they have really added some value to our home. In my experience, I didn’t actually use this person. Thank god after now reading all the reviews. My initial call on a Wednesday or Thursday was inquiring about pricing etc., we set a date for that Saturday to come and reglaze the tile, which I thought was quick, but hey.. Friday morning I called to confirm our appt for Saturday. No return call. Friday late afternoon I called again to confirm and politely asked for a return phone call for confirmation. No response! Saturday I get a text that he is running late, but would be there shortly. When I called after receiving that text to ask why he didn’t return my phone calls the day before, I was told he just got out of the hospital. As such, I had made other plans since not getting a return phone call or confirmation. I cancelled for the job to be done Saturday and will not be calling back to reschedule after now reading all the reviews. It’s impolite not to return customers phone calls.

The condo I purchased looked like a dump when I moved in, but for location purposes, I bought it anyway. Certain items desperately needed a face-lift, thats for sure. Consequently, I took my chances on this Doctor of Cosmetic Reglazing Surgery to take the wrinkles out of my counters and bathtub. The patients were under anesthesia for a few hours, but after the operation was over, the running faucet in my tub may now be called, The Fountain of Youth, and the skin on my counters feel as soft as a babys bottom. If Better Homes and Gardens ever call wanting to profile my habitat, I will not be ashamed to let them in.

I hired New Again in June 2018 to reglaze my tub. The new surface was less than smooth, and two areas chipped off within a month. Mike came back out to address the chips (only). He sprayed something different on the chipped areas, which left the surface chunky and dull (see pic). I called him out a third time, and he sanded and sprayed something that left the corrected area more glossy than the rest of the tub. He was extremely late or had to reschedule each visit. Overall, I would not recommend this company.*** I never damaged the tub (the glaze flaked or chipped off) and the repair picture speaks for itself. To Mikes credit, he did come out free of charge to try and correct the workmanship issues but never got it right. Take care.

Honestly I was skeptical on how redoing my tub & shower where going to turn out, considering how much completely redoing our bathrooms was going to cost. It really came out beautiful, and at a fraction of the cost or doing one we did both and without all the inconvenience of demo & everything, they where in and out. Ironically my friends thought we renovated both bathrooms, and there jaws dropped when I told them how much we paid, they really thought it was all redone. Thanks Mike with New Again Tub & Tile, and the Home Depot special vanities.

Soooo....this place did my Aunts tub and shower surround about a year ago...I went to visit and WOOOOW!!!....I personally have been doing this kinda work for sometime now,and I have never seen soooooooo much dry spray,missed spots and poor workmanship in a long time...either they dont train there people well,or they just suck!!!...

Had tub refinished and Mike talked me into getting the tiles refinished. Im very happy he did. Tub and tiles turned out excellent. Beautiful job, great price. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Wed give this company (Mike) -0 stars if we could. Did an awful job on our tubs and shower. Could not tell how bad until after they had left and we had paid them. Paint was still wet and we had to remove the masking tape after it dried. They came out twice to fix the problems, but did not. Runs, drips, rough texture and now paint is bubbling. Even the BBB could not get them to respond satisfactorily. Our advice is go somewhere else. If, after reading all of the negative reviews (our experience was almost identical as most) you still choose to use them, DO NOT PAY until the paint is dry and the job is cleaned up and you have THOROUGHLY checked out the work. You get what you pay for and thats certainly true for this company. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy.

This company is great. They did several jobs for me and mike was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They showed up on time were clean and neat and mike did his thing and everyone who has seen it asked for his number. Thanks mike

This company did an amazing job over 1 year ago we had them do or shower and kitchen cabinets and my wife would very please we were notified former tenants that they destroyed our vanity from washer in our bathroom so we called Mike over he was able to refinish the vanity and the countertop and it looks like new once again they did an amazing job thanks we highly recommend

I wanted to give my bathroom an update with out breaking my pocket. I called around and was getting outrageous quotes. Just when I was going to quit...I emailed Mike and he was there that same afternoon to give a quote and out in 2 days to do the work. Easy to work with!! I will recommend this company to anyone!! DONT USE THIS JOKE OF A SO CALLED COMPANY. Did my tub on July 21, 2017 and did a HORRIBLE job. Drips, smears and rough patches. Called to tell him and he finally answered and said he would send someone out. Well guess what they never showed ! Called him again and finally got him and he sent out one of his guys who redid Mikes terrible work and the guy used the WRONG COLOR. Called Mike AGAIN to tell him and said a guy would be out tomorrow to fix. When they NEVER SHOWED AGAIN I again called Mike who said employee was now fired. Said to call him when I got back from vacation and he would be out the next day. Called him about ten days later and told him I was home and guess what... HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Called him again from different number and he picked up. He said he would be out on Monday at 10:00am. Guess what.... HE NEVER SHOWED AGAIN !!!!!! $375.00 down the drain. Have to have the entire tub and shower walls done again because now they are two different colors. Whatever BS he posts after this review is a lie. Five weeks later I have a two tone tub and am out $375.00 !!! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE. RUN, RUN, RUN TO ANOTHER COMPANY !!! THIS CONDO IS CO-OWNED BY TWO PEOPLE I KNEW HE WOULD LIE !! HE DOESNT REMEMBER ME BUT HE SURE CASHED MY CHECK !! ATTACHED IS A COPY OF THE CHECK !!!!!! THIS MAN IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR AND IS SICK IN THE HEAD. ADDED... I can not believe how good this company is. I was referred to them by the management of holiday inn in which new again did over one hundred tubs and tile for them. My entire bathroom looks like new. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! The owner of the company came out and said our tub and tile refinishing was an elementary job....... They came to our house 7 TIMES and messed it up EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! The owner, Mike, said that the workers didnt mess it up- it was just because the product they used didnt react well to the old paint...... They did a chemical test on the old paint- there was NO reaction to it. The original lifting of the old pain was on the bottom of the tub, right where our old bath mat was. The worker told us the paint lifted and then asked if we had used a bath mat there, which we did. He said that was the reason the paint there lifted and that he would come back to sand it down and fix it. The first 4 times he came he left the window open and told us to leave it open to help air out the room and let the paint dry. THIS PAINT CANNOT SET IN HUMID CONDITIONS_ WHICH THE OWNER TOLD ME. THE OWNER BLAMED EVERYTHING ON A BAD REACTION- NOT ON THE FACT THAT THEY WERE INCOMPETENT!!!!!! It was so bad that I called the owner, Mike, to my house to show him what was happening and he tried to guilt me into paying the full price for a crap job because he doesnt know what to tell me and that I should tell him what to do, knowing that the worker has a family and kids and he has to provide food for them. THEN DO THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! He, Mike (the owner) didnt even want this job listed on his taxes, because he already took a huge loss due to the fact that they had to keep coming back and repaint everything and told me to pay half the price ($150) to the workers and not in the company name and that I would still get my warranty from his company. Yeah.... I got a warranty from the worker, not the company, as he has a defunct refinishing company, and when I texted Mike and asked him to give me my warranty HE NEVER RESPONDED. Please, for the sake of your sanity and your family, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would have rather paid an extra $100 and had it done right

Mike and his team made my bathroom look brand new I cannot believe my old tub that I was ready to throw out looks brand new Mike does amazing work and will work with ur budget. I would recommend him to anybody anytime

VERY Unprofessional!Lets build on this. Following my review and the Owners reply I just wanted to clarify. some things.He did eventually return to redo the job which is when the new tile got overspray and the finish on the job was the same.I also received a sting of angry texts calling me a liar and other unintelligible stuff. until I had to block him.He also claimed he was planning on redoing the job a third time on Saturday but I go no notification from him of this plan.Very UnprofessionalIll give you the numbers5 Un-returned calls and texts4 Appointments3 Times they actually showed up2 Times they did some work1 Time they got overspray on my brand new Marble tile(see picture)0 Times they showed up on time.In addition my main problem is with the texture of the tub. it feels like 100 grit sandpaper.I will say he did eventually show up to fix the many runs and bare areas from the First attempt.My bathroom remodel is over a week behind due to these issues.I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.Would not recommend to anyone

Made an appointment on a Friday for Monday with Mike to estimate on reglazing a bathtub. He never showed up or had the decency to return my phone call or text message. Now looking at his reviews, I see many people are dissatisfied with his performance. BEWARE!

Cancelled twice . Late when he finally came. Got overspray on toilet and floor. Called for touch up never called back for days. He used to be another company name and had to change it he got such terrible reviews . Warning do not use this guy.

Michael has provided the absolutely horrible service to reglaze our tub. It’s rough, dull, mosquitoes trapped in it, uneven texture, sand particles trapped throughout. He tried to fix several times - he couldn’t. He refused to refund us. STAY AWAY. This man doesn’t ventilate your home. He rushes to make a quick buck. Doesn’t care about quality. His low price of $229 will cost you dearly. He damaged everything new in our bathroom with paint. Covered only floor. We got sick as we breathed the paint and at the end of the day - we need to reglaze the tub by hiring someone else after all the hassle, stress, breathing paint, and damaged new items In the bath. Absolutely horrible!!!

The owner was very nice and polite. The first time he came out, the paint caused an issue with the glaze. He came out to try and fix the glaze a second time, but it ended up looking worse than before. Wish we bought a new sink instead.

Update: After my original post Mike contacted me. He sent Eddie to complete my job today (who is great!) and it is done and looks good so I am happy. Its only 3 stars because of the time and stress of it all. The end result looks good so far (still drying at the moment). Had the communication been good from the beginning it could have been a five star review.-------------I hired Mike to come out and do a 3 things for me (tub, shower stall and garden tub). The phone call to set everything up was great and a date was scheduled. The night before I called and text to confirm but did not hear back. I was concerned about a no show since it was my first time using the company and i had not received a confirmation call. That morning the prepper showed up (yay) as scheduled and did his job. Mike the owner/painter however did not show up. I called and text all day with no replies. We had to remove all the prepping the next day because we had new countertops being put in. Two days later I heard from Mike and he informed me that he had been in a car accident and that is why he did not show. That is a legitimate excuse and would explain why he did not return my calls, so I rescheduled without hesitation.They came and did the job April 8th so all was good. When we peeled the tape off and were finally able to look at the completed job we noticed that in a few spots the old color was showing through and there were a couple missing areas. I called him about it and he told me it was totally normal to need a touch up and that he would come out to take care of it. I was very happy about that! That was April 12th when he said he would come back and do touch ups. Finally after weeks of no replies saying he had been out of town he said he would be there April 30th to complete the job at 8 am. Making me wait for two weeks was pretty unreasonable but at that time I was not in a rush so I waited. I canceled my work meeting and went to the unoccupied house to be there to let him in. Once again, he did not show. I called and text him probably 50 times that day with no return call or text. The next day I continued to call, leave messages and send texts. One time someone answered the phone and hung up on me. I called right back and of course no answer.Someone is moving into this house in a few days and now I desperately needed the work done! He knew this and my texts were urgent.I am so terribly upset right now because this job has been paid for and the tub and showers haven’t been used or the water even turned on yet and they certainly do not look “new again”. A simple quick touch up would have completed the job and left me happy but he chose to instead blow me off and leave me in a bind.I am a business owner and I don’t ever leave a negative review. I own multiple properties and normally use another company but there was too long of a wait with them so I tried someone new. Worst mistake ever! Thank goodness this other company is going to help me out and come fix the problem, but now I am paying twice!I am a really good customer and usually use the same companies over and over. I realize situations occur and delays happen but I also believe communication is vital. I don’t leave bad reviews and I am a professional. I have read the other poor reviews and see Mikes responses and wonder what mistruth or excuse he will state with my very accurate and honest review. I have never seen a professional business person respond with the tone and language he uses. I assure you I am a real person, Community professional and operate fairly. I have every text in my phone, every message recorded and a witness for his no-shows. There is no excuse to take a customers money and not finish a job. There is no excuse for no shows without communication. There is no excuse to ignore calls, messages, and texts.

I had New Again reglaze my tub, countertops in bathroom and kitchen, and kitchen cabinets a year ago, and they still look great! The owner, Mike is an awesome guy that goes out of his way to help his customers and make sure they are satisfied. And they saved me a ton of money compared to what the other companies were asking for these services.

Worst part of my remodeling experience was dealing with this company. First they didn’t come out on time, then they did a horrible job. When I called to make an appt to have them come to fix it, the guys never showed up. When i called the owner Mike to find out where the crew was, he never answered. I left multiple messages and texted him with no response. If he responds to this review, which I’m sure he will, look for how rude his response is.I had to have another company come in and fix the mess these guys made of both of my bathrooms.He took my $500 and ran at the holidays, leaving me with two crappy looking bathrooms.Shame on you Mike! I want my money back!!!Do yourselves a favor and look them up on the BBB website before doing business with them. They may be the cheapest, but it’s for a reason.

I wanted to respond to woman who posted a bad review for this company. I have had this company do well over 100 projects and mike has done an amazing job on those projects. Im a home investor and have dealt with every company out there doing reglazing and new again is by far the best in the business. I have nothing but good to say about this company. They have worked on million dollar projects with me and always protected everything and were true professionals.

Terrible job. Finish is bumpy and very uneven. He left coating material on the edge of my sink and burned out one of our bathroom electric outlets. Avid this guy like the plague. He also refused to complete the paperwork needed to file a affidavit of no contractors lien,delaying part of our reverse mortgage by more than 3 months. You can see all of his defensive claims against those who criticize him. He is unprofessional. After I first posted this,, he replied by saying I am a nut who runs an illegal business out of a small apartment. He has no idea who I am. I am a homeowner with a 2/2 house on a golf course. He did not do my sink, he did my tub - he ruined my sink in the process by leaving a glob of his ceramic finish on it. This man is obviously incapable of taking responsibility for his poor workmanship. Its bad enough he does bad work; its worse that he blames the customers. Stay far, far away.

Very unprofessional. I called to get 2 tubs refinished. The first appointment I had to reschedule due to fixtures not changed out. We rescheduled for following week. I did not hear anything from Mike the owner, so I called 15 minutes behethe appointment to confirm. He mentioned his guy wold be on his way. Apparently he never told his guy the time because when i arrived at my place a card was in the door. Apparently 45min before the scheduled appointment, according to my neighbor. I called, Mike did not or answer so I left a message. I waited the standard courtesy 15 minutes. His guy showed up at 11:20. Not a problem...at least he was there. He did some prep (nice guy)..I asked what was next..he said owner comes and sprays tub. I asked when he said ..a couple of hours he will call you..This was approximately noon. Guess what? No phone call..I called several times.No answer...at this point I was already looking for a reputable company to finish the job.. I still called to give him an opportunity to respond. Nothing. Save yourself time . I was lucky....he didnt get a penny from me. And I am glad I dont have to deal with such an unprofessional company. I write the review just to give decent people a heads up about trusting this company. Its not worth itIf you read his responses to negative reviews..he attacks the people rather than coming up with a solution. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND READ ALL REVIEWS!****Update**** owner called me back on a Wednesday. Apparently was in an accident and had no access to his phone or books when he was hospitalized. Offered to handle the project personally..unfortunately I already have the situation resolved with another company. ..i reserve the rest of my comments but accept his apology as things do happen. At least he attempted to make it right.***Update #2*** As I stated in my earlier update, he did attempt to make it right. He called at least 3 more times...after I already accepted his apology. There is nothing left but for us to part ways. I guess his real objective was to get me to remove my review. I spoke from my experience and others my have their own. As far as hiding behind a computer to make a negative review...no need to, these are the facts!. It is unfortunate that he was in an accident and thankfully he is ok. As far as an opportunity to make something right, unfortunately it was too little too late. Mike, I advise you not to comment any more regarding this. Whats done is done and you may have lost some money regarding this project by paying you prepper, but I also lost money in time and energy which is more valuable to me. I suggest you go your way way...as I did mention you attempted to make it right. That alone my speak volumes. In my case there was not much else you could do. Thank you.
