I went to the flight school here for my private pilot rating. If I could give 6 stars I would. My flight instructor Alex was always willing to go the extra mile to help me learn maneuvers and landings. He went through every bit of material to make sure became confident and competent. Whenever there was an area I struggled with Alex would come back with a new way to explain it to help me progress and learn. He was always patient and actually cared to help get me to achieve my goals. My work schedule varied through my training and Travis who does the scheduling made sure I was able to get work and lessons in. I also got to fly with the senior instructor Franco for my stage check to make sure I was ready for the check ride. He did a great job making sure I was prepared for the end. The other instructors at the school were always friendly and offered advice tips and tricks. Before my ground exam Corey even went over some easy ways to remember airspace rules. If you are looking for a great school that will help you achieve your goals with great instructors this is the one.

I tried 3 other flight schools in the area before finding CWA. There is absolutely no comparison. CWA is the most professional and safest operation I’ve seen since I left the US Army. These guys are organized, experienced and their instructors are mature, caring and make flying fun. Take my advice, if you’re looking for flight training or just a discovery flight this is where you need to go. Love their airplanes too!

Off the chart care and expertise! Pilot training for my daughter has exceeded expectations on every level. Instructors are detail oriented and motivational. Flexible and professional on scheduling has been very important as well. I highly recommend Clearwater Aviation to anyone wanting to learn how to fly.

Highly recommend Clearwater Aviation. Professional from start to finish. Extremely flexible. We opted to use Clearwater Aviation to obtain a private pilots licence for our daughter who is in college. She attends a United States Service Academy at USMMA. She had to have a flexible schedule in order to complete all of her requirements for her degree program. Travis was professional and extremely motivated to help set up her program appropriately and worked with several different agencies in order to fulfill a scholarship, as well being transparent with all financial statements.Cory is am amazing instructor. He is able to quickly assess a students personality along with their skill level to provide the most accurate plan to finish the licence within a timely manner.We researched other schools in the area and by far Clearwater aviation was the right choice.

I have an aircraft angered at Clearwater Aviation, a daughter that have taken flight training with this great organization and they maintain my aircraft. They are great to work with and always attentive. I highly recommend this group whether it is for maintenance, hangering your aircraft or flight training. My experience has been great in all these areas.

Started going here for my private pilot license and couldnt be happier! Travis responded immediately and answered any questions I had and got me started with Cory as an instructor in less than a week. Cory has been extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with explaining aviation concepts and application while flying. 10/10 recommend!

I used Clearwater Aviation to finish my PPL, and I also use them for maintenance on my plane. Frank, the chief CFI, is by far the best instructor Ive had (out of many), and Im assuming he trains the other CFIs in the same way. Prices are reasonable, and their CFIs are actually there to be CFIs, not just time build. As far as maintenance, theyre a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Theyve found quite a few significant issues on my plane that previous mechanics had left alone, even during annuals. I do recommend that new students focus on finding a CFI that works for them, but Clearwater Aviation is probably a good start. And training at a busy airport like PIE is more fun, and will make you a better pilot, too.

Learn and fly with the bests in this area! Amazing people, super skilled staff that will guide you through the process of learning to fly with patience, professionalism and fun! I cannot emphasize enough on how the coaching is good, very positive attitude, always looking to find the right angle to make it easy for you to understand and move forward. Travis, Cory, Frank, Scott, and all other members of the staff will help you to become a safe, confident and humble pilot. Last but not least, flying a Socata TB9 or TB10 is a lot of fun! Highly recommended.
