I try to tell everyone I know to buy their insurance through a broker, not directly from the insurance company. You get better rates and better coverage that way. Tony Saylor is my broker at Bouchard and he shopped my auto and home insurance for me. He was able to look at rates from a number of trustworthy insurers and let me decide which company to use. I ultimately chose Progressive for my car insurance, getting more coverage at a better rate than what I was paying. For my homeowners he was honest when he couldnt find rates better than what I had but he also explained the benefits of umbrella coverage, due to our small business needs. I will be calling Tony every year to re-shop my policies to make sure we are getting the most coverage for the best rate. I highly recommend!

Normally I do not write reviews but my experience was phenomenal and I thought I’d share. Melissa Bianchi is the most insightful agent I have encountered by far. She thoroughly explained the policy to me as a new driver and the importance of having higher policy limits. She answered all my questions with no hesitation therefore I trusted her input. The way she informed me was in a way I could comprehend and she also went as far as finding additional discounts that I qualified for. Such as a life insurance policy which offered me a discount on my auto. With purchasing the life insurance it saved me over one hundred and fifty dollars on my auto insurance. It was refreshing to have an agent on the phone who was doing more than just binding a policy and on to the next one.
