My brand new bullfrog was a repair nightmare. we had the both pumps replaced, 4 capacitors replaced (the last time the tech said we put in brand new ones this time so they should work!! so my brand new spa was put together with used parts the first time?!?!?) heating units failed in the middle of winter...they couldnt get to us for a week so i demanded in writing that they take responsibility for any tubes/part that were damaged due to freezing...they showed up that day instead to replace them, the cover fell apart within 6 months (this was the upgraded hard cover top for $2k) we had a service call monthly to fix or repair something, and they even had to take it off property for 2 months to repair a leak. Luckily they warranty it for 12 months and now we hope it will work for a while. I would NEVER recommend a bullfrog to anyone.

It was a long wait for a spa due to covid, supply chain issues, and labor shortages. Bullfrog sent me order updates often, and I felt as if I knew what was going on the entire time.I am extremely happy with my spa, and would recommend bullfrog to anyone.

I was a little nervous making the decision to buy and all I can say is I am so glad I went for it. My Bullfrog Spa is gorgeous and I feel so pampered every time I get in and of course it helps that my neighbors are pea green with envy! Franz gave me a great price and educated me on Spas so I was able to buy the one that fit my needs. You all are so much appreciated!!

My wife and I (both 40 years old) have had our spa installed for a little under 1 month. My wife suffers from anxiety and depression and has tried taking medication over a handful of years which only compounds other issues. This hot tub has made a world of difference in our lives. After seeing results in just 1 month, I think health insurance companies should buy hot tubs for everyone. Soaking in hot water, AND getting a back massage at the same time is the perfect way to set aside 30 minutes a day for relaxation. AND IT WORKS!! It has been lifechanging.Ive also noticed that after a stressful day at work, feeling mentally exhausted, a short soak is like hitting a reset button on my mood for the rest of the evening.More helpful comments I wish I would have read prior to our purchase-Ive never much enjoyed the basic, high pressure, jets that drill into my back. When we were shopping for a tub I was just wanting to soak in some hot water. The Bullfrog Spa Jetpacks are incredible. We chose the Pulsator, Trio, Gyrossage, and Rain Shower. In the first 3, the jets have a rotating, circular pattern which feel amazing. With slight body shifting I can work shoulders, lower neck to lower back.. pretty much everywhere . We tried the Neck Masseuse, but it was noisy and splashy (just my opinion). We found 100 degrees to be perfect for a 30 minute massage and not get over heated.

Enjoying my Bullfrog Spa during all these stressful times we live in right now, what a way to relax and get away from it all! Thank you -Franz for taking your time and going over cost vs quality and educating me so carefully on spas! I know I bought the best from Franz. It is gorgeous, easy to maintain, cheap to run (I never noticed a difference on my power bill) and easy to clean. I never realized how much I NEEDED this until I got it! Thank you Franz, you are a lifesaver ! PS My only request is I wish you guys offered a service contract all inclusive! that would really make it convenient and stress free!

Trust me, you want Franz selling you your bullfrog, he was more than honest and knowledgeable and was very cordial and nice to my kid and hooked her up with some swag for her new tub, he Answered all my wife’s questions and was great to open the store up 2 hours after closing to accommodate our late schedules. These tubs look killer and the multiple different jets all felt incredible. I can’t wait to have this thing installed. When you meet the guy he’s like 9 feet tall, Sun bleached California hair, untucked shirt, shorts, and loafers....the big fella is relaxed(probably because of his hot tub). I always wait at least a year to write a review because I feel that many things can happen after a purchase that can change how you feel about a product/company. We purchased our spa in OCT2018 and have been thrilled with both the product, the sales location, and delivery. As a result we have told many of our friends that have been shopping for hot tubs (which in sales is the best compliment). Also with the discount on cleaning products offered in store, its actually cheaper than Amazon (shock)((pun intended))... all kidding aside, Franz is always friendly and helpful when we call or come in. We cant wait to buy our swimspa next! Dont hesitate to purchase a Bullfrog, they are top of the line and so energy efficient.

I was very hesitant to make such a large purchase and I am forever glad I did. My Bullfrog Spa has improved my life in more ways than one. My Spa not only helps my body mechanisms function better but it also improves family relations and communications. NO cell phones! My only regret is that I didnt meet Franz much sooner and buy one years ago. Franz is a no pressure salesman who helped me make the best purchase ever. We have been shopping for a hot tub for several weeks and visited the Layton Bullfrog Store yesterday. It was a delight to meet Franz! He has managed this store since it opened 10 years ago and knows these tubs inside and out. He was very gracious with his time and all our questiions and clearly enjoyed showing us his products. The Bullfrog spas are such a unique, thoughtful, intelligent design and beautifully constructed. We had an exceptional experience and have finally found the tub of our dreams!

The manager is really helpful. Sometimes the other employees have trouble finding parts and refer you to the other store.

I purchased a Bullfrog hot tub from Franz, and it was one of the best decisions Ive made in years. Franz remembers my name and it is like seeing my best friend whenever I go back for supplies.He counseled me on the benefits of purchasing a handrail which I did, and that too was the second best decision Im made for a while. As a senior citizen, I dont know how I got along without it.My grandchildren love spending time in our hot tub, and my brother and I spend a couple hours every week just soaking and reminiscing about the good old days. And best of all, some of the most heartfelt and endearing conversations with my wife take place in our hot tub.I loved having the option of trying out all the different jet packs before deciding on which ones worked best for our needs. After a few months, I noticed one of our 6 jet packs was never used, so Franz happily took it back and gave me one that all my family enjoys. If youre on the fence, get a Bullfrog. We bought a Bullfrog Spa about a month ago. The purchase and installation was quick and painless. We even needed an electrician, they gave us the name of David Warner and what a great suggestion that was. Definitely would buy from them again.

We bought a bullfrog spa and it was delivered before our electrician was done with running the power. The 2 young men that brought it were so nice. They placed the spa in the exact location we wanted it. Because of the electrician they could not hook it up, but they were very thorough in explaining everything and giving instructions. Justin and Levi were great. Justin even gave me his cell # number in case we needed anything or had questions. Well we did. I had to call Justin at 9 pm to ask a question and Justin did not immediately know the answer, so he did some research and called me back 15 minutes later to give me the information I needed! Thats what I call excellent customer service!!! Thanks Justin, and thanks Bullfrog spas for such a great experience! I highly recommend Bullfrog spas!-Greg

First off, Phil isnt my real name, Im just using his account to create this review.My name is Randy Peterson from Kaysville.I recently purchased a bullfrog spa from the Layton store. Blake was very helpful to us in making a choice that suited our needs best. We went home that night to think it over and returned the next day and made the deal with Franz. (Blake was off) Franz was very helpful with our questions and knew the product very well and was very pleasant to deal with.Delivery was in about 10 days but thats when trouble started. My old hot tub wiring needed to be upgraded to make the new tub safe. I spent a whole day researching solutions with electrical suppliers to no avail. I finally went back to the Bullfrog store at the end of my rope and Franz said he would have their trouble shooter come by to see how to make this work.I cant say enough positive things about Rick. He got to my house late that same afternoon and showed me EXACTLY how to make things right. It was getting late so he came back the next day and stayed (A LONG TIME) to help me with the wire installation and had an idea that when complete was a lot more professional looking than what I was going to do. He knew EVERYTHING there was to know about codes and ways to pull wire that saved me a lot of time and effort.If you EVER have trouble with your hot tub, Rick is who you want to deal with it. I really cant express how knowledgeable and extremely helpful he is. You just dont get service that that any more!So thank you Rick, Franz and Blake for making this experience end happily.

Had our hot tub about two months now, love it! Service is great and love getting our supplies from the Layton store.

On May 12th 2015 I googled some spa stores in my area, called bullfrog spas and told them my control panel on my hot tub was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. The lady whom I spoke with is also whom scheduled the service for the following day, she said they may have to order the part in and that they required a credit card before someone could come out ( I see why they do this now, so they can charge people no matter what happens, even if that means them not doing anything at all), I gave my card info against my better judgment. The guy came out the following day, called me and told me the panel was fine which I know is not true as I haven’t been able to use my hot tub for a month now due to it switching on and off, blower on, lights etc all by itself. He said he couldn’t get it to do anything. Now I don’t really care what this uneducated serviceman thought, I asked for a new control panel yet never got anything except some dummy telling me nothing was wrong. On top of all of this they charged me for this idiot to tell me nothing was wrong when it’s clear there is as I still cannot use my spa to this day. I have tried many times to call and get it resolved and ask why I was charged yet didn’t receive anything even after I told the serviceman that I wanted a new panel. No one could help me and the owner didnt ever call me back as I was told he would! They have committed theft at this point and have acted in the most unprofessional manner that a company could. Not even sure how they have stayed in business this long! Id highly recommend not going here for any type of service or products! Horrible!

I bought a hot tub 3 years ago from Franz. I decided to upgrade to a new better and bigger one. I was trading in my old one to put credit and taking it off the price. I personally think I was low balled with my old spa but it helps at least a little. From my first spa I talked to Franz and he was amazing with customer service as well as his knowledge. I worked with me and gave me discounts for military. Bullfrog will check your water if you bring it too them in a cup and give you the right chemicals to make it clear and make it smell better. I am a customer and always will be due to Franz and him working with me.
