My local Lady was on vacation so I tried these Ladies. The Lady that did my hair and beard did a good job but she was told to charge me $34. I dont like being gouged. I went back to the Esquire, mainstreet, Clayton. G.

Very good experience. Very clean and super nice. Was not expecting female barbers but she was super nice and very good with a straight razor. Only down side is the price. It was kinda pricey but over all a great place.

I have had my beard trimmed twice here so far and have had a great experience both times with two different stylists.

If Anay hasn’t gotten one already, give her a raise! The past people that have cut my hair don’t listen and don’t even really know much about hair nor do they try but Anay took her time and still did it without it taking too long and gave me the best haircut I’ve probably ever had! Definitely recommend, she and all of her co-workers are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable while getting your haircut. Please don’t go to great clips, go to The Cave.

Ive been going to this Barbershop for over a year now. I continue to keep going here because the ladies are professional and friendly. Kay is the lady I go back to each and every time I come in. Medium Skin Fade with a little off the top and it comes out perfect each time. If youre on edge about getting a haircut and havent found your barbershop I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Haircuts are priced appropriate, they have beard trims, eyebrow waxing and more. Give them a shot and I can say you will not be disappointed!Thanks again Kay for the haircuts!

Both of my boys saw Sue. The first time, I took my oldest (8) son who just gets a buzz cut. Sue did not clean him up, at all. He had hairs all over himself and once outside I noticed that she missed a lot of hair (all over his head). I fixed it when we got home. Today my husband took our youngest (3) son. He also gets a fairly easy, typical boy cut. Sue was told exactly what to do yet somehow she was unable to get it right. The entire time she was complaining that my child was making her back hurt. She also knicked his ear and said nothing about it. We will continue to go to The Cave but will never have another cut by Sue.

I would definitely recommend The Cave. I am particular on who cuts my hair and have had 4 great cuts here. Will continue to return! I usually see Mariah on Fridays, but have seen other stylists as well. All have done a great job.

We went to the cave to get a haircut for my 4 year old son, this was his first real haircut because I usually do his hair at home. Anay cut his hair and did an awesome job and was really patient with my son who wouldn’t sit still and shied away from the clippers. We will definitely be going back to get my sons hair done.

We just left the Cave and I want to thank the stylists and all patrons present during my sons haircut! He is almost 3 and scared, but needed it cut desperately. Through his screaming and squirming the stylist stayed patient and still did a great job getting the cut we wanted. Everyone kept smiles on and we survived! Been getting up to 6 haircuts at a time for over a year (5 sons and myself). Until today, when I walked over to check on my 8 year old—unfiltered Game of Thrones playing in the screen next to him with topless women parading around. The employees did not seem very concerned, but only fast forwarded a bit while I stood there trying to block the screen with my body. I don’t think my son was really aware—but come on! We paid for that one haircut, and left with the other three undone.It cost The Cave 3 haircuts that day to let 1 haircut watch pornography.We won’t be back. So, 4-6 haircuts a month. Gone.

The cave is the only place in Clayton that I’ve found that can cut hair the right way!I happened to be getting my haircut along with my 3 children when Mr “free lunch” (another reviewer) had a meltdown when he realized that the world does not revolve around him...I was getting my hair done by miss April (great) when this guy got upset that another paying customer was watching a show of his choice in a MENS BARBER SHOP!Please disregard his attention needing review as it’s an absolute joke (Im sure he felt so empowered as he wrote it). As a business owner myself, when people go out of their way to trash or mess with someone’s lively hood-just because they feel the world owes them everything, I’d rather not have them as a customer anyways.He’s the kind of guy that would leave a $.02 cent tip to the barber that just cut his kids hair, when she had no control on what another customer was watching!Keep servicing your customers the way you always have! I’ve always been treated great, and they go out of their way to treat my children great as well!
