I went to check my wrecked Jeep for lost items, so needless to say, I was totally surprised when entering the office. The Staff was very professional, the office was clean and their response time to my request was quick.

Bought my first car from this location on 1/20/2021. I have bought cars from other insurance companies in the past and this was by far the smoothest transaction I have had. Won the auction at 11:30. I walked in (payed) about 3:30, had a title in my hand by 4, and the car was dropped off to me at 4:30. The car was posted as run/dive condition. Which it probably was at the time of stock in. The battery was dead no big deal, it was expected. The issue wa that the passenger side tire had clearly been hit with the forklift forks, which broke the seal and flattened the tire still no big deal it was an easy fix. The problem is that the tire was hit hard enough to knock it WAAAAAY out of alignment. Which made it undrivable. There were several other cars that were dropped off for pickup, that were handled entirely to roughly. Almost all of the drivers picking up cars were disgusted by the way the forklift drivers were treating the cars. A ford fiesta was dropped so hard that the 2 front tires blew out and came off rim.In short, I will buy from them again. However I will go into the process expecting the additional forklift damage.

Front office staff was pretty good, yard guys were great. The grounds need work. Potholes 18 deep, and tire shredding metal scattered everywhere.Gravel is cheap, and so is a magnet.

Please beware of this company, we sold our car to them and there is an issue with their check. Our payment is currently being HELD (for one week now) for some reason that the bank cannot disclose. The selling process was very smooth, except for the fact that our payment is still in the process of being cleared... and I hope it does indeed clear.

IAA should notify the the safety vest when bidding or somewhere along the bidding process.

Our car was wrecked 3 hours from our home. Our insurance had it towed here to evaluate damages. Since Clayton is so far from us I called to have them ship us some belongings, including our license plate. They said no problem. Called back a week and a half later to check on the status. Was told they still had not gotten our items together. And then was told apparently there was no license plate. They failed to tell me this this first time. The lady on the phone took a real attitude with me after I explained I really needed the plates. Almost 2 weeks is plenty of time for them to have gathered our things and shipped them to us. Customer service here is a JOKE.

Really good customer service and I always look for the daily inspiration on the glass in the back out of clayton. Thumbs up!

The ladies in the office were efficient and pleasant! 5 stars for them! But when I went to get my personal belongings from my totaled ford F150...... they were bagged in black garbage bags left in the bed of the truck in the rain. Everything was soaking wet! 3 stars to the outdoor employees

Biggest IAA I’ve ever seen. Bit of walk to office from truck parking, but they get you loaded fast! Been here twice. First time pickup a Ford Mustang I bought and second time picking up a friends 370z.

Don’t buy cars from that location Amy the manger will screw you up I bid on a car that supposed to be clean title and find out it was salveg and she knows it’s her fault and won’t fix the problem save your money and don’t buy from this auction Amy is the worst she used to work on the front desk and the auction upgraded here to a manager they made a big mistake by doing that and the fees is unbelievable high for lies and scams

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Branch manager Amy Braswell is a rude scammer. Listing said the car runs/drives with keys present. The car did not start, keys were stolen, battery was stolen and all she kept telling me was We are not responsible. FALSE ADVERTISING at its finest. Get ready for a lawsuit. They let employees/customers steal keys and batteries and refuse to take responsibility.

I got a 2009 VW Jetta here. Nice car, minor damage, fixed for under a $800. Got it here for a $1000. Did everything online, the only time I went here was to get the car. Great experience.

Recently since NC was hit hard by the hurricane my vehicle was towed here for damage accessment by State Farm. I went to recover the items that were left in my car, and they were gone. Stealing from people who already have lost alot in the storm. Not honest employees and lack of concern. Someone was suppose to reach out to me, guess what no one has called me at all. No customer satisfaction at all. Dishonest employees to steal from others and no follow up. Avoid at all costs unless you want dishonesty.

Edit: Management was completely useless and even blamed State Farm, she could not make up an excuse for why the staff still stole things from me, she said that’s not in her control. I called them before the car was even in their lot, but they don’t care about customers.My car was taken earlier than they said, and without my permission. I called them hours after they stole my car, and the next day when I checked my car the staff had Ransacked my car and stole all my cash and my valuables.
