It’s not every day that an employee gives an exceptional customer experience, yet Aaron Green from the LL Flooring store does just that….. consistently every time. Actually, I like all their employees, but Aaron is my absolute favorite. I first met him in the Newark, DE store about 8 years ago and was highly impressed that he could make purchasing a floor so seamless. I didn’t realize it at the time but mentioned to him that he should run the store and was much better then the first salesperson (who I later found out was the store owner)… boy did I get a chuckle out of that… : ) It is now 2021 and I am making my third LL Flooring purchase. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that Aaron was still working and in the Wilmington DE store that I was now purchasing the flooring from. What sets Aaron apart is that he is knowledable of the products, services / installation and will do everything he can to meet the customer needs. Aaron was so easy to work with and remembered us each time we went to the store. He made it so easy to get this project done. Replaced out floors with vinyl plank using LL Flooring installers. The installers were excellent. Neat, clean and did a fantastic job. The floors are beautiful. There was product left over that they took back and refunded the money with no problems. Would highly recommend this store.

If you need flooring or molding check this place first. Their prices are better and the sales people know the product. Also, they really seem to appreciate their customers.

The staff was friendly but the quality of the product is quite inferior....boards are mostly on the short side and the finish feels rough. This Brazilian walnut cost more than Brazilian Rosewood that I bought on line. The rosewood boards were wider, longer and higher quality finish than LL product. All of these advantages and yet they were also less costly. Do yourself a favor and buy from an on line hardwood floor dealer. I am only using the walnut as an inlay so it will be ok but I would have been furious if I bought this for the whole floor and got a bunch of 1 and 2 foot boards.

They are not concerned if someone is calling even for sales. No one picks up the phone any time of the day. Even after 4 days of online order the website says ORDER RECEIVED. Will it move further from order received stage or it wont move until someone places a medal on your chest with your head high in proud while you are saying Yes, we received the order.Stock is sufficient. Then who is stopping you to process the order or least pickup the phone if you do not want to call the customer. When had a chat they say your amount has been reserved but not the stock even though its available. What does that mean. Some thing is really wrong with these humans. Good Luck. Most of the stores go out of the business by not taking care of the sales forget customer service.

Definitely worth a stop in if you are buying flooring. Much better quality than other big name chain stores

I’ve spent over 30k in material from Lumber Liquidators this year alone. Today I dropped a couple boxes off that weren’t usable. I was called and told I needed to come pick them up because they couldn’t be returned. Upon arriving I was given a number of excuses from the pieces not being assorted to the boxes not being in good enough shape. I was in fact embarrassed for the sales rep (who I have dealt with often) who was providing one excuse after another to try and find one justifiable to not process the return. He concluded that if boxes are open they cannot be returned. I responded by asking what happens when I open a box and it is damaged? He just stared at me. I took the boxes of wood and left. As a contractor I have had many issues with their product over the years and will NOT do business with Lumber again. This display of dishonesty and ridiculous behavior is the final straw for me.

Great crew of people. Once you find the place. Everyone from Duncan, the assistant manager to Mike and the other guys in the warehouse who helped me load my flooring, just a great experience. A pleasant change of pace from most big box stores!

The staff was VERY knowledgeable and helpful! Such a friendly group of guys.....I even called a little over a month after I purchased flooring when I saw the price had dropped and they gave me the difference. Best quality and cheapest around. Great job!

In the process of selecting a floor for our new house, my wife and I had made a couple trips to the store. We picked out a floor and made a deposit. While making the deposit, they re-assured us that if anything changed, we could just call and cancel the order. A week later, we decided to buy a different product from elsewhere and wanted to cancel our order and get the refund. When called into the store, the same sales rep who was extremely nice throughout the initial process was completely rude, and kept mentioning how we went to the store several times and hung up on us twice! With that attitude, i am wondering how they are running their business.

Employees were very informative and helpful. I thought they would have a larger selection than they did. I didnt think the prices were all that great compared to Home Depot. I saw maybe two floorings that I was interested in still deciding. Waiting for a good sale.

I am sure the other reviews are deserved but I had a great experience here. I found a great deal here on an engineered wood floor that was easy to install and is holding up great. Did not have any problems with delivery of items. Staff was very helpful. Do your research and if what they have makes sense I think it can be better than the big box stores.

If you can find the place, I highly recommend it. The sales and warehouse people were both laid back yet knowledgeable, which is a rarity at any supply shop. As far as the quality of the product goes (although I can only vouch for the laminate flooring), it is fairly simple to install and looks much better as a floor than as sample pieces in the showroom -- all the while being less costly than Home Depot or Lowes. Review finished.

Isnt the same place it was years ago. Theyre aiming for all the high end stuff now and the deals arent the same as they were before. Still a solid selection though and the staff know their stuff. Check next door if you are looking for a deal on floors. The cabinet place has some blowout flooring if you can wait a week for it. I was actually surprised. I will give liquidators this though, the Brazilian I just installed for a customer was freaking beautiful! And tough.

They actually taught me about the flooring and encouraged me to go check out other brands instead of just trying to sell me some garbage. They really do carry a superior product.

Bought several floors from Lumber Liquidators. Bellawood Hickory and Brazilian Koa and also a CORK floor. Prices are the best and quality on their more expensive floors cant be beat. Great with my dogs and three kids running around on top of them. Glad not to have had to pay tax at this store.

I was treated exceptionally well, salesman was very helpful and I dont think I was there 20minutes leaving with my bathroom floor, that was maybe 5 months ago, tomorrow going to hopefully get 450 sq feet of product

My boyfriend and I went to Lumber Liquidators in Claymont, DE today. What an awful experience. Yes, they had good pricing and a large selection, but our salesman was incredibly rude and very pushy. Every question I had about a floor I liked, he ignored me and ushered me to the most expensive floor in the store even though it wasnt even the color or style I wanted. I do not suggest this store, go to another Lumber Liquidators for better service.

First off the floors are great, price are very reasonable and customer service was pretty good!However what gives it 2 stars is the guy in the back that handles the forklift and moves the flooring arpund completely ruins the whole positive experience. First off, he had me grabbing the boxes and load it myself. Um ok... No big dead... BUT HERES THE BIG ISSUE! My wife ended up returning the leftover boxes on my behalf because I had to work that day. She went back and that same guy had her.... A FEMALE.. Taking the heavy boxes out by herself and bring it to him.. Ok its 1 thing a guy does this.. But a Female????? That pissed me off.. Why have that guy back there if he wont do his job???

Theyre ok, nothing special. We went and ordered 1,300 sq ft of flooring and their premium padding. The sales guy didnt seem on the ball, although other employees did. He assured me everything was returnable with a receipt, but failed to mention the restocking fee, which was pretty important.

Bad product. Cost me alot of money and time. Went with pergo outlast. Defective products.

HORRIBLE!!!I paid over four thousand dollars for the Brazilian Cherry 3/4 x 5 pre-finished hardwood flooring for 700 sq/ft of floor. First, there were numerous defects in my order that I did not find until after I opened the boxes. On top of that, I was given the WRONG underlayment. Underlayment/moisture barrier/noise barriers arent even necessary. Then when I returned the unopened rolls of underlayment. LumberLiquidators charged me a RESTOCKING FEE. Then since I paid with a check I found out I have to wait 3- 5 weeks to get my refund. I then called the Customer Service Number given to me at this store and was treated disrespectfully by the Customer Care.Please do yourself a favor and find another source for your hardwood flooring needs! Read the fine print too!
