Joe was very helpful and much more affordable than other options in the area. I brought him my MacBook pro that had ceased working properly and he quickly diagnosed the problem (free of charge, which was quote at 90$ at other local shops for just the diagnosis fee) and offered multiple options without being pushy. He went on to change my hardrive to a solid state HD and reinstall software very promptly and accommodated my schedule to get it done the same day! Will be coming back for any tech services.

My husband took his computer in on New Years Eve with a boot error that kept looping. He was provided with different options at different prices with the pros and cons of each option. He ended up getting his hard drive replaced, and not only was the repair completed the next day, he was able to pick it up on New Years Day. Great service and well be using them for all of our repair needs!

I had Joe build my gaming pc after failing spectacularly on my own, he stayed open late for me to drop it off and it was done by the end of the next business day, and Im sure he could have saved me some cash if Id had him get the parts rather then buy them third party myself. I have never written a google review but had to for Joe Micro.I am studying for my EM boards and in a moment of stress I accidentally knocked my full water bottle of water on my laptop keyboard. In my 6 years of owning this Mac I never spilled any liquid. Until of course now. I immediately filled the computer to drain as much water as I could and googled (using my phone of course) the nearest computer repair shop. I saw Joe had many good reviews and he was very close to where the incident happened.Positives of my experience:1. Met with friendly service2. Examined my computer without charge3. I was leaving out of town and he pushed me ahead of the line to evaluate the damage so that we can find a potential solution and address it ASAP.4. Initially, because the screen was not turning on, we thought I would have to replace the screen. He offered to buy it off amazon for me so that I wouldn’t mess up and purchase the wrong model.5. Luckily he was able to save my screen and diagnosed the damage to a singular part after he completely took apart my computer to examine it.6. Joe charged me for a replacement part that was damaged and the labor all of which was a VERY reasonable price.7. Also, provided me with a 30 day warranty on the new part and labor IF anything were to happen.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you Joe Micro!HONEST, SPEEDY, COURTEOUS, and PROFESSIONAL.

This was the place to go for computer stuff. Now I can find better deals online. Also, the service used to be good.. now the tech help seem to be government moles asking and probing on a personal level....

Ive been taking my computers to Joe Micro for years, and am very satisfied with his service fixing desktops and laptops for my business.He diagnoses problems quickly, in most cases fixes them next day, and is always affordable.I have a business that depends heavily on sales over the internet, so turnaround is important to me. I just took a laptop to him that was fried. He knows how critical it is for me to have one and had me back up and running in one day with my files loaded onto a machine that I could afford; better than my last one.At another shop I would have gotten killed on price and turnaround. Im back in business because of Joe!

Joe is just the best. I broke my MacBook Air screen in the most expensive way possible to repair. He fixed it not only perfectly, but 4 days ahead of schedule!!! You have to go here. Great store, great person, excellent service!

I had three laptops that were in need of repair. One laptop had a cracked screen, couldnt stay logged on to the internet and was outdated. The second laptop had a fan issue. The third was a hot mess! The lid couldnt close and needed some serious updating. Not only did Joe do an incredible job on all three, the prices to fix these units was reasonable. When I also got home with one of the laptop and thought I had another issue, two weeks later, I took it back to Joe and he checked it without charge or issue. It was my internet that had the issue and not the laptop. Additionally, I took a monitor to him to look at and he did not charge me a single dime to examine it. The monitor was fried and he was able to sale me one at a reasonably low price. I usually do not give reviews for any reason, but I had to give credit where credit is due. This man knows his craft and he was professional and kind. Would I go to him again! Hell yes! I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for your service JoeMicro! You saved me a ton of cash.

My audio connection *STILL* needs to be replaced in my laptop. It was a weekend and I was in metro-detroit area, needed a last-minute computer repair. This was the first place I found close to where I was staying so I went.Im pretty disappointed. I explained what was wrong with my audio and he insisted nothing was wrong. Then we discussed charges, which he said would be $85 to replace the processor (NOT what I asked him to do) and that IF the audio connection needed to be replaced it would be $149 total, otherwise it would be $85.I had to leave town again, so sent my mom to pick up the laptop when it was ready on the following Monday.She paid $149 and like I said, my audio component *STILL needs to be replaced! He basically replaced the processor and redownloaded Windows, which I had agreed to up front but it wasnt necessary, pulled a stuck USB out, and my right stereo connection still does not work! Even though that was the main reason I took it in, he was insistent absolutely nothing was wrong with the audio connection, then charged my mom the $149 to fix it.He was rather dismissive of me and although he did not outright insult me, he made me feel as though I wasnt correct about my audio problem.I hate it when this happens. I know when my sound is out. I need the stereo component for the work I do, which is audio-intensive.I should have given my mom more of a rundown, but when she told me what needed to be paid, I assumed (wrongfully so) that he had replaced the audio connection as we discussed.Now I have to get it fixed AGAIN by someone who wont scam me.Is my computer working? Yes.Did I need him to replace the processor? No.Did he listen to me when I explained my problem? No, but I left it there because I needed it done ASAP, and we agreed he would onlycharge the full $149 IF the audio connection needed to be replaced.Not impressed. Next time Ill go to the new place on Woodward by Pei Wei. I blame myself but he wasnt really nice, and although I give people the benefit of the doubt... why is your computer store in a smoke shop? Pretty weird.

Delivers great service and if theres an issue with a computer, they jump on the problem immediately. Awesome!

My computer hard drive crashed. Joe replaced the hard drive and updated Windows for a reasonable price and in less than 24 hours.
