I went to Waterdogs for CPR and First Aid training. At 1st I thought it was a little pricey, but it was with every penny! The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. They have a variety of classes for scuba and diving at different levels of experience. I would definitely use them in the future! Thanks guys!

Water Dogs put us on the wrecks and sharks in NC last weekend! Ive trained and dove with them for two years now and not once been let down. I find their knowledgeable staff, instruction methods and customer service so exceptional that Ive kept them as my dive shop even though I live in Virginia now. I started out in the VA WSSI Preparatory program in basic open water in July 2020(Im already advance open water qualified thru NAUI) and was told by Rich to keep an open mind, well I did and was surprised by how much I didnt know compared to what I did know. The instructors are pretty straight forward and dont leave anything to the imagination. Tom Seguin is on of the most patient instructors I have ever met, when his patients was tested he just smiled and kept his cool and Im not an easy person to teach, I really enjoyed his side mount course and learned a lot that I will take with me as far as I can go. Aaron is the VA representative and helped me with everything I needed to get in the course and he is also the basic open water and advavance open water instructor who gives advice that makes a lot since when your confused about something, basically he brakes it down to a point you can understand. Cecil is one of the owners and is also an instructor, he gives a lot of good advice that makes the class a little easier, its up to you if you follow his advice but if you dont and fail its your own fault because this man has over 50 years experience in diving so you best listen. All the other instructors and dive masters are all great. The store itself is very clean and organized with staff members who are very attentive to the customers especially Hanna and mike but there all great just cant remember there names. So if you want a good place to learn to dive or need equipment to buy or rent Water dogs is the place to go, so come on down!!!

They have a phenomenal team of instructors and dive masters that are very knowledgeable about what it takes to be a diver. Rick, the owner, was helpful every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met to get us certified before our trip. Ron our instructor went above and beyond to make sure that everyone completed each task and was prepared to go out on their own. I will be using Waterdogs for any of my future scuba needs.

Stellar staff, great shop, thorough and effective instruction, and a perfect example of what the diving culture should be. Jason is one of the dive masters and he has taught my two brothers and my cousin. Hes an awesome dude and helps you if theres a problem.

The instructors (that I have personally been a student of) Jake, Patrick, and Cecil are the best around in knowledge, experience, and interpersonal skills. Waterdogs SCUBA is great! If you have a scout or youth group youd like to introduce to scuba or snorkeling they offer fantastic training based on the BSA Scuba & BSA Snorkeling requirements. Rich (one of the owners) is on the Middle TN Council Aquatics committee and he is passionate about giving scouts the opportunity to get exposed to scuba. They gave us a great deal and even came to a pool in our local area in Nashville to teach the course for our group. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to go if you want to learn about scuba or learn to scuba. From the moment I walked in the first time I could tell the staff were just people doing what that love. I even brought my three young kids in with me and they brought out some toys for them to play with while we discussed classes.Speaking of the classes, I signed my wife up and she has absolutely loved the experience. From the sound of it, her training has been far superior to what I received elsewhere years ago.If youre even curious about scuba, just go in and talk with them about it. I think theyll help you get over any nervousness you might have, and they will definitely be able to answer any questions you have.

My son has attended Bubblemakers and SEAL Scuba Team Camp and loved both! He hated for them to end! The staff has been very helpful in answering all of our questions, from equipment to classes. Ms Kalli and Mr Cecil were wonderful with the kids during both of my sons events. My son loved it so much, we plan to sign him up for more Jr dive training and First Aid.

What an awesome experience with Waterdogs! From the minute we inquired about their services, to the signing up for camp, then during the camp. Everyone was so welcoming! Instructor (Mr. Cecil) was so patient, so knowledgeable with my kid during the PADI Seal Camp! Definitely recommended for big and small kids! Cant wait to enroll him to Open water cert.!

Ive never experienced customer service like I receive here anywhere else. Absolutely everyone is awesome. While I didnt do my certification through them, they have still been extremely helpful in my time as a new diver. I have bought most of my personal gear through them and definitely got a great deal on quality products. I cant wait to dive with them this summer.

Waterdogs Scuba & Safety is Best of the Best as far as my wife and I are concerned.Ive had the fortunate opportunity to learn from several fantastic scuba training programs but the folks at Waterdogs exceeded expectations in every regard, throughout the entire team. Quality of instruction, availability, professionalism, etc., were demonstrated consistently each day.Despite my wifes discomfort at even getting her face wet while swimming, Rich (Co-Owner/Course Director) patiently guided her through the Discover Scuba Diving course. To my great surprise she loved the experience and quickly signed up for the Open Water Diver course.I was able to watch (as unobtrusively as possible) as a number of the staff instructors and divemasters taught my wife the needed skills. I could tell within minutes that she was in excellent hands. The instructors (Patrick, Jake, & Ben) were seriously awesome (overused word, but applies in this case).The DMs (Ron, Mike) were fantastic, attentive and patient. I had a great experience with Water Dogs! Despite my crazy schedule, they were very flexible and accommodating so that I could get certified in January (brrr). I loved that they made it possible for me to take the classroom portion online with PADI while I was on the road, and then continue the hands on portion once I got back. They were also very receptive to constructive criticism / feedback on the instructor I had and the training, which I truly appreciate in businesses!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Answered very question I had about scuba diving and the equipment. Rich went above and beyond to get my pool sessions done quickly and safely for a trip I was going on. They have great selection on equipment and fantastic prices. I still need to do my open water training to get certified. I need to stop by and get the ball rolling. I wouldnt go any where but to waterdogs to learn how to scuba dive. I cant imagine there being somewhere else that is better then waterdogs and their staff.

Truly a grade A experience. The instructors are calm, which keeps you calm during classes and training, their prices are reasonable and in some cases better than the multiple dive shops in nashville, in my opinion.
