Excellent they do wonderful with the stray cats the fixing in my neighborhood and they did excellent with my two puppies.

Had two kittens neutered through the Low-Cost Spay Neuter program. Things are very organized, starting with booking through the website and doing all the paperwork in advance. On the day of the neuter they got us in and out for drop off very quickly and same when we came to pick up. All went well with the procedures and my cats came home in good spirits, all considered. :) Would definitely use and support this program again!

Im rating the spay/neuter side, process is organized. I like that you can book it online. (I suggest you book it in advance because slots go quick) I got a puppy on Thanksgiving day 2020, and I knew I had to book her spay before she went in heat (about 6 months of age for dogs usually). Booked it online in advance.Last July I found a kitten 😸, and got him here within a 2 or 3 weeks of having him, and process was a bit quicker. The clinic is very affordable, cat or dog I paid no more than 60 each. Then they add vaccines(10 to 15 bucks extra). Of you have feral cats roaming your area those are even cheaper to spay/ neuter. So you dont need those expensive veterinarians that charge for farts and giggles, come here. And spend money for an organization that needs donations. You can donate $$ towards a spay/neuter, since prices are great and still cheaper than a vet.

Got this handsome boy here. We had some problems at first, he had too much energy, ate too fast and chewed up a few TV remotes. But he had been abandoned so I gave him time to settle in and gain some weight. Now, hes a very good guard dog, playful and not aggressive with other dogs, leaves his food in the morning and snacks all day, loves to play and cuddles me when Im sitting on the couch. Give your rescues time to adjust and take the time to train them! Its worth it! 🙂

The woman who came to my car called me sunshine for bringing all the necessary paperwork with me. She was happy and lovely and she deserves a raise. Our critter had some complications while the staff was finishing his neuter. The explanation was thorough and given in a calm manner. Though Im a nurse & not prone to panic with bad surgery news, I can tell that there is a high level of care, compassion & knowledge, as well as great people skills to keep parents who might want to panic calm.I had questions... They had immediate answers. In a matter of minutes, I was given an update. In less than an hour, the complication was stable & we were headed home with very detailed care notes, extra care supplies & phone numbers for medical director/on call vet/emergency vet/after hours vet/anyone else we could possibly need during the night.Excellent care. Excellent staff. Excellent price. Excellent overall experience...

My wife found a kitten at a gas station on her way back from her Dads place in Murfreesboro, the thing was only a few weks old. I called the humane society because we could not take in another pet. The woman on the phone told me that I needed to take the kitten Back to Murfreesboro because they could not accept any animals from any city except Clarksville !! As if the kitten had a choice in where it was abandonded or born!! The attitude the woman on the phone had was very rude and very mean.

Spay, neutering, tattoo and microchip services were AWESOME, very affordable, the staff was kind and helpful.

They did great with his surgery and there staff was so friendly they took great care of him. And the cost is great

I’ve had 2 of my dogs fixed here. Their prices are great and they have a pretty good check-in process. I only wish they’d have some way of keeping people from checking in before they actually show up, and then hold people accountable to be served in the order they check in. I showed up and checked in but somehow was 6th in check-in order when I was the first one there. Other than that, they’re doing a great job!!!

Ive dealt with them before and they are always super helpful and take good care of the animals they have. Also, they offer cheap spay/neuter always professional and polite.

My dog had his surgery on March 24th. He immediately started having complications, he was admitted into emergency pet hospital that night with internal bleeding. The next day transferred too his vet for all day monitoring. Yesterday back too another emergency hospital with fever, dehydration and infection all direct causes of his neutering surgery! My dog is now back at his vet with his incision opening up and leaking blood. I have emailed asking for some type of reimbursement for the astronomical vet bills and am currently being ignored. My baby has done nothing but suffer since his routine operation and had I not been able too pay all the extra hospital bills my baby would be DEAD right now! This place is not professional at all and I am contacting attorney! I will see them in court! If you love your fur babies DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!!!

Had to bring in a stray beautiful pit bull mix and the staff were so friendly and helpful trying to help me find a chip. When we couldnt find the chip they offered me plenty of alternatives to rescues i could reach out to. They were so awesome thank you guys!!❤❤❤❤

My cat was fixed and microchipped here as a kitten and things went great. My mom will be fixing and microchipping her 2 puppies here as well in November. Great programs and pricing for so many people. Staff has always been great and make sure your pet is well taken care of.

Its a great service which i gladly donate too. However i used them for a spay and my poor baby was returned to me spayed nails trimmed like i wanted but she was covered in pooh and bc you shouldnt bathe them for a while me never having a female dog wasnt sure how to help her. Anyhow I believe they have too much work on their plate possibly not enough staff ? I Cant believe that they just didnt care. Im sure theres enough funds in the budget To hire someone To assist in making sure animals are returned as clean as they were dropped off

I attempted to book a neuter appointment shortly after the Humane Society started procedures again (closure to Covid-19). The wait for an appointment was treacherous.. they were booked solid for 2.5 months. I was given the option to be added to a cancellation list; and my appointment was bumped up one full month! I received the call about an opening that became available for the following day and I said yes before the other person finished asking.There are other add-ons offered when you are taking your pet in for a low-cost neuter; and I recommend you maximize your dollars while there. The prices are reasonable and lower than at many vet offices.. knock it all out at once! These options are only available as an add-on to a neuter/spay appointment. You can not bring a pet in solely for these services. I wish they would adjust that policy.All employees I interacted with were courteous and professional. As we werent able to leave our cars, I can not speak about anything inside the facility. I would make use of their services in the future.

I had appt since June and the day before it was cancelled . i had to wait two more days.. Got there 20 mintues before appt. Outside line was wrapped around ... I got out of car and asked people of their appts everybody had same time... But service i received was great afterwards. We go again if needed ..

They are awesome. Their low cost spay/neuter program is awesome. We have had two cats neutered and one dog spayed, as well as shots and microchips and all our animals did amazing. They call to check how theyre doing 2 weeks post op, the females are sent home with pain meds. The staff are sweet and very helpful. The cost is amazing and they do great work that they can take pride in. Highly reccomend! This is our pup on the way home from her spay 😅

Please think twice before bringing your pet here. We brought our sweet girl, Phoebe, to get spayed on June 18. She was very groggy after her surgery and whining, which they assured me was normal. The next morning, she still had not moved from where she was the previous night. I had to put her water bowl under her for her to drink and she wouldnt eat. She wouldnt even get up to pee. She peed while laying down in her bed. This was not her normal behavior, she had surgery in February the morning after surgery, she was hyper and perfectly fine. That afternoon, I called the clinic, they did not pick up the phone or return my phone call. The fact that you have to leave a message for someone to call you back and cant reach someone directly is ridiculous to begin with. I had to email someone and message them on facebook. Whoever messaged me back said to call and leave a message and someone would call me back. No one ever called me back but i was communicating with the director via email. She said she would show the pictures I sent of the incision site and her gums to the vet techs. They said everything looked good since she took a couple bites of food. They said dogs can be groggy for up to 48 HOURS after surgery. NO ONE EVER FOLLOWED UP AFTER THAT. Even though they knew I was concerned, they never followed up. As the night went on, she seemed to be getting wore. She still wouldnt move, or eat. Whoever was emailing me stopped answering me. I called and called and left messages and no one got back to me. Around 9pm I called a final time because she began to poop, but still was laying in her bed. I called one more time before I called the number for the emergency vet they had listed. They are a joke too, they tried telling me that was normal and her behavior seemed normal. Then at 10 pm, she was having seizures. I tried calling an emergency vet closer to us and they told us they did not think she would make it and she passed away 15 min later. I am writing this review with tears in my eyes because reliving that night is a nightmare for me. The Humane society kept telling me to wait 48 hours for the anesthesia to wear off and she didnt even make it to 48 hours. The director called me at 9 am the next morning apologizing. She said they were doing training the previous day so the phone was on silent and no one ever turned the ringer on when the training was done so they never got any of my messages. It seems odd to me that they didnt check the phone throughout the night. They didnt find it abnormal that out of all the animals they spayed that day, none of the owners had concerns so they didnt check the messages. We had a necropsy done at the Fort Campbell Vet and they said one of her incisions wasnt tight enough and she had slow internal bleeding. Dr. Knight is the vet that performed the spay procedure on Phoebe. The Humane Society refunded me for the procedure and paid for a private cremation. Although the act of kindness was appreciated, it wouldnt have been needed had we brought her somewhere else or if they cared enough to follow up with her later that night or if they didnt make such a small, careless mistake of leaving the phone on silent. I understand there are complications with every surgery, and this could have happened to anyone, anywhere. It is the fact that i had PROFESSIONALS telling me my dog was okay when she wasnt and now my dog is gone and I will never be able to get her back. I think of my sweet girl every single day and relive that day every single day, thinking of things I could have done differently. If i could go it again, i would absolutely not bring her back here.

The Humane Society is truly making a difference in the community with its low cost spay and neuter facility. It is clean and well managed, and the staff is personable. The prices are reasonable and are posted and easy to see, extra services like shots and heartworm testing can be performed at the time of the spay or neutering. They work closely with local rescuers to care for stray and homeless animals. Two paws up!

Humane society of Clarksville provides low-cost spay and neuter for dogs and cats. Our cat was a street cat and we were able to spay her very inexpensively. They did a wonderful job and were incredibly professional. They cared for her very sweetly. I was very impressed overall.

They dont answer the phone or call you back when you leave a message. Prices are low but it takes months to get on the list. Ended up going to St. Bethlehem.

I adopted 2 wonderful kittens from a friend of mine and scheduled an appointment here to have them spayed and neutered. They offered low cost shots, deworming and flea control, as well. My two kittens have been home for 2 days now and they are doing great! I couldn’t be more happy with the way they were treated and are healing. The cost is the most reasonable in town. Thank you to everyone there who took a part in their well-being. I highly recommend the Humane Society of Clarksville.

I was able to get my dog an appointment to get spayed and at first I was a little hesitant and nervous but ended up having a great experience. The ladies that worked there were very professional and kind to both people and animals alike. They took very great care of my baby and provided me with everything I needed to make sure she had great post op care.
