One star because of their finance department. The therapists are wonderful, but it seems like nobody that handles the finances communicates. My husband and I have had continuous issues with unauthorized charges. I’ve had to contact my credit union and the higher ups in order to fix things, but it happened again today with my husband. Imani would be perfect if the finance department gets it together.

I tried to make an appointment with Tamara Boone because she does EMDR. She isnt taking new clients, which I understand, but they where just going to schedule me with whoever until I started asking questions. The next person they had trained in EMDR only did telehealth (not sure how that works with EMDR), but I prefer meeting in person. Finally, they scheduled me with Shamaria Benson who isnt listed on their website or Psychology Today. When I called to ask if she was even licensed or one of their interns, I was put on hold for ten minutes then disconnected. So I canceled the appointment. Dont waste your time.

The cost of the sessions depends, not on the patients individual income but, on the household income even when the other person in the household is not economically related to the patient. Just check the prices before you go.

I never made it to my first appointment. I called over a week ago and specifically asked if Ms. Tameka McCullough was taking new clients. I was told by Malika that she was. I was set up for an appt Wednesday of the next week. The NIGHT before I received a text reminding me of an appointment with Tiera Freeman tomorrow. I called the office the morning of my appointment. Someone by the name of Arianna answered the phone. She had zero customer service/professionalism about herself and knew absolutely nothing. She put me on hold twice without telling me. The second time she kept me so long on hold, I hung up and called back. The phone kept going to a message that said, the person you are calling has not set up voice mail. Finally after a few more attempts, I called back and Arianna said she had Ms. McCullough on the other line and said she wasnt taking new patients. So no one bothered to notify me and let me know? Just place me with someone else and expect me to be ok with it? Arianna blamed the new system for the text that went out and she said she didnt even know one went out to me until that moment. I asked how it is that I get bumped out of a spot, but she had another appt during my time. She couldnt explain. A little later I called back to be sure she was aware that I wasnt coming at all and that is when Malika answered. She asked me to hold, and rather than place me on hold, she put the phone down and I heard every client that was at the desk, I heard names of patients, phone numbers, balances due, etc. She kept the phone down for over five minutes. Again I hung up and called back to which I kept getting the message about not having a voicemail set up. After trying maybe 10 times, Malika answered and I asked for an office manager and instead she goes on to tell me (in a rude tone), that she had a long line of people that she had to take care of first. I told her I wanted to cancel my appt and she said the person that answered before took care of that. I told her I didnt know how because I never cancelled it. She then changed her tone to one of being annoyed and asked me for my name. (In my head, shouldnt she know my name since the person before took care of it?) I gave her my name and she did something and said it is now cancelled. I asked her for the office managers name and she hesitantly gave me his first name and then I had to ask for his last name, Wallace Nobel. If this is the representation that is given prior to even having an appt, it is not good business at all. I do not plan to visit their facility nor refer them to anyone else. I was referred by someone else and thought it would be great. However, the actions shown to me by their office staff placed a bad taste in my mouth.

I’m disappointed with my first and last experience with this facility. My husband and I sought couples counseling with Connie and were excited for our scheduled and confirmed Telehealth appointment for Saturday. We waited patiently for our counselor to hop on the Telehealth portal call, but after 25 minutes we decided to call the office to make sure she would be there. The office said they would call back, and they did after 20 minutes of waiting. The person who called back told us that we had paper work that needed to be filled out ahead of time in order for the appointment to move forward- we did not receive any paperwork or told that it would get emailed to us. After telling the person who called that, she said that it would be in the Telehealth portal. We looked, and it wasn’t there either. It seemed that this facility was not prepared or organized. The person who called was apologetic, but there’s no excuse to be this unorganized. I have been through years of counseling with other organizations, and never have I had something like this happened. The least they could have done was cancel our appointment before we made arrangements for a babysitter and waited for an appointment that clearly wasn’t going to happen. I see great reviews, so maybe this counselor is new, but if you have children that need care while going to appointments and limited time to waste, steer clear of this particular counselor. We won’t be wasting anymore of our time and resources to move forward.

At first I really enjoyed my visit. I had ADHD testing done back in August. The woman that did my testing was kind, very patient, and I could tell she did her best to make me comfortable and coached me even when I began getting frustrated. Right after I was told I had to pay 50p for the test that tricare didnt cover the testing. I waited to pay to contact tricare myself and they informed me they do. I was told I couldnt get my results until it was paid for. So I waited. I continued to pay until 3 almost 4 weeks ago and after talking to tricare and finding that they where paid back on the 19th. Yet no one ever called and tried to give me my results. So for the past 3 weeks not only me but my doctor have been trying to get the results and I keep getting the run around. I get told someone will call me yet no one ever calls me, no one has called my doctor back. I just want my results so that if I do in fact have adhd I can get treatment. The testing was paid for and Im not sure why it has been like crawling up a mountain just to get this done. When in all honesty I should have been contacted back in August! I hope to get this resolved because I did in fact love the experience I had while there I just didnt expect these kind of issues.

I am a new patient to IBH but I am more than pleased with my experience as a patient here. I personally work with Danielle Drouillard and I could not relate to anyone more. She is kind, professional, and extremely easy to talk to. She has made me feel comfortable and I feel like I can get what I need out of my therapy sessions because of her. I will highly recommend IBH over and over again.

I started working with IBH about a year ago with one of my children and she has done amazing working with Olicha. Her counselor could tell that I was struggling with everything in my life, so she recommended that I start going too. In the waiting room I got speaking with Danielle and I told Rachel if I come I want her, she seems to be the one I need to talk too. So they set me up an appointment with her and it has been great ever since. I havent been to see someone in about 10 years, because I can never find that right person and I suffer from Anxiotey, border-line glorifobic and of course the having to many children syndrum. I think if Danielle left for any reason, I would be screwed, because I wouldnt have time to go some where else, because 2 of my children and I are scheduled all at the same time and I already work 3 jobs. I was very blessed to have Danielle come into my life and I dont know what I would do with out Danielle I have made some great Progress with her. I love all the people that work here. Michelle does great with my youngest daughter and Olicha has made great progress with my 12 year old.

I was accidentally charged 500 dollars on my credit card by Imani, and have been trying to get them to refund me the amount FOR THE PAST 4 MONTHS. I’ve called and emailed countless of times and each time was told I’d receive a call back but never did. At this point, I really don’t know if this was intentional or not.
