When I made my fist call to this shop a female picked up she did not seem to warm which caused me to feel a little hesitant. The price she quoted me for a smoke test was very reasonable and affordable. I chose to give them a chance.Once I was there I interacted with her and her technician they were very friendly.I was allowed in the bay and watched the process of the smoke test the mechanic didn’t seemed bothered a bit. Again I’ve taken my vehicle to them and Mrs.Angel was super nice. For those that felt these guys weren’t nice ... keep in mind there human too and we don’t know what’s going on they could of been short staffed etc. but they are very nice!. Once they do the work on my vehicle I will update.

I am new to the area and a young female. My car was making a weird noise from the engine and of course when I brought my car in it stopped making the noise. They said that it was my sway bar and replaced it for $164. Took them 4 days to do it, but I told them I was in no rush. 5 minutes after picking my car up, the sound was god awful. You could probably have heard it from 3 blocks away. I could not bring it back because they were about to close and I had no ride home. I sent a video of the noise to my dad and he immediately knew what it was (he lives in a different state than me). It was just a pulley making that noise, paid a guy $50 to fix it and the noise is now gone. How do I bring my car in without it making no noises (at that time) and leave with it being 100x worse immediately after picking it up. I had a friend do it cause I did not want to spend anymore money there, and knowing the bad rep of car shops and being a young female. Three stars because the lady was really nice, but I cannot tell if I was scammed or not.

Deems Automotive was the best automotive service I have been able to find in Clarksville. Between the very nice ladys in the front office and I was able to talk to the guy working on my car. He kept the parts for me to see when I came to pick up the car. I went in for a water pump and they even took a look over of the rest of the engine for issues. They found that I had a crack in the exhaust manifold. So I had them take care of that as well. Not only have they gained a customer for life, I will be telling everyone I know about how well they treated me, took great care of my car and beat the dealership pricing.Thanks Deems Automotive!!Robert

But the guy came on my lot to pick up a vehicle he was rude when he arrived and even worse when he left .He picked up a red nissian frontier. Around 3:30.Customer told us to let driver know about the keys when we tried to inform him of that, he ignored me the first time and when I told him again he shrugged his shoulders and said I dont need them anyway and he left .

Last summer, we were traveling from Minneapolis to Key West in our 1996 Cadillac. The brakes failed completely near Clarksville. A helpful tow truck driver took us to a series of repair shops, where they either said, no thanks, or said it would take a couple of weeks to repair. Then he took us to Deems Automotive. We cannot say enough positive things about their expertise, professionalism and reasonable pricing. They committed to having us back on the road the next day, and they lived up to their promise. The brakes have been working perfectly since their repair. They did the repairs at a very reasonable and fair price. Deems turned an upsetting potential tragedy into a positive experience, and we thank them!

My father-in-law and husband have went here for years and I can see why. They changed my Radiator and my van was ready in one day. They are a great example of a wholesome family owned business.

I absolutely love this shop, not only was there always a smiling face, but I was also treated as if I was apart of the FAMBAM && thats a comfy feeling, also I love the fact that they didnt charge me an arm && leg for what I needed for my 2015 scion tc. I am so thankful for this amazing auto shop && will tell everyone I know, what Deems has done for me. I will definitely be back in the near future && will definitely spread the word about this place. Deems has always been the best and ONLY place I take my vehicles when theyre in need of repair. I am a female who knows little to nothing about cars, but I always got a fair, honest price for the work Ive had done, and I never felt as though I was being cheated. The receptionist was always prompt to call me when there was any question about additional services, how much it would be to get a part or labor etc... I have been impressed with Deems & so grateful for the services they provide.

The lady on the phone was extremely rude and seemed annoyed by my questions.
