We love Joes!!! Scott is who we talk to a lot and he is so knowledgeable and explains it in laymans terms so we know whats going on. Their prices are super fair and the work is superb! The women in the front office are just a delight and the doggo is super sweet!

Charged me $100 for a diagnosis then told my warranty company there was rust on the area that needed to be fixed and was going to charge over $300 for a couple parts & labor. I got all those parts fixed, not just the damaged ones, fixed elsewhere for around the same price. Best part about it there was their pet dog.

In a previous life, I worked as an auto mechanic. One dealer and three different shops...I know what Im doing under the hood so to speak. Prices are good. They talk to you before moving forward on any work. It sometimes takes a bit to get an appointment. But I think honest service is worth an occasional wait!

Wow, how have I lived in Claremont all these years and not known about Joes?!?Sometime in 2017 I picked up a used conversion van RV. The cruise control and heating vent controls didnt work. I asked them if they worked on RVs like this and they scheduled me for a time when they could use their large lift. I had assumed the problem was related to a vacuum hose failure somewhere, but there was no way I was going to track down the problem in that spider web of hoses. Well, the mechanic at Joes found the problem and fixed it perfectly! And, not only did they fix it, but they replaced other hoses likely to fail and they kept me informed with phone calls at every step of the process. Even a year later when I brought it in for an oil change, I was asked, any new problems with the cruise control?Since then Ive had all my other vehicles repaired there. One job was working on my 85 pickup to do some major work; a head gasket, new gas tank, new exhaust pipes, etc. I had given them a price and said, Try not to go over this, but if you see anything else, please fix it. When they called me to say it was all done, I realized too late that I should have had them replace the old radiator. I mentioned it to them and they said, We saw you needed one and since we were under budget, we put a new one in for you. Wow! They did exactly what I had hoped they would!In another case, where a repair was going to exceed an estimate, they called to double check first. Fantastic communication, fantastic work, and fair prices.I have all my work done there now- from oil changes to head gaskets. Joes is a little gem in Claremont. What can you say when a female walks into a mechanics and they estimate $2200! When another mechanic fixed the problem for $210? And I had to PAY for the estimate! Stay away! Do not go! I coulda bought a new car down payment with that estimate!
