The atmosphere is beautiful, everything smells wonderful, I appreciated that masks are required, and my aesthetician was incredible. Spruce is super high quality.

A cousin of mine recently had her nails done here, for the most part the quality of the job was nice, the nails look clean and sharp. Big complaint is the coloring on the edge of each mail varies in width from mail to mail. I wouldn’t mind if the price wasn’t $75 and if it wasn’t so noticeable. She went back the next day to see if they could fix it and they did apologize and acknowledge the lack of quality in the job but said they could not fix it because they had no space on that day - which I understand but they didn’t offer to book her for another day or offer any credit.Just disappointing that they did a job like this and charged $75 which for $75 the variation mail to mail should not be noticeable and that they offered no remedy.Unfortunately she will not be going here anymore neither will any of our friends. I think you have to make your customers feel valued and they certainly did not do that. Extremely disappointing.

I’ve always had a great experience at Spruce and have been going to the salon for almost three years. During this pandemic Spruce has been very clean and safe and I appreciate that. The shop itself is stunning. I had Andrea do my nails like rose quartz for my wedding and she did it spot on. She also just in general has a wonderful personality and was very pleasant. My nails have never looked this good! Im also going to get a spray tan and will add the update later.

My nail tech, Maty, did a fantastic job with a funky tropical manicure. She was a joy to chat with and I had fun watching her create such a neat design.

Unfortunately my experience was far from perfect. I booked a Staple mani with gel and a Staple pedi. While at the pedicure, I had to ask several times to remove the dry skin I could clearly see. The final results are on the pictures and are speaking for themselves.As for the manicure, it took a while (about 25 min) to remove the old gel (I had pre-booked the gel removal). For some reason, there were about 30 minutes left for the whole Staple manicure. The nail stylist was rushing, again being pretty sloppy both with cutting the cuticle and with the polish. At the end she just dropped me leaving me with another girl because the other client was already there waiting... And I said I wasnt happy with what she did. The other girl was actually pretty good and did everything she could to make it work.At the end of the day, they took off 10 $ for the gel removal, but I still paid 95 $ getting a sloppy Quickie mani instead of a Staple and a very sloppy pedi.May be Ill try them again with a different nail stylist.So far, the quality was not definitely worth the price.

I’ve recently moved downtown and was extremely excited to try this nail salon. The waterless mani/pedi was intriguing. I work third shift and there happen to be construction out my apartment so I unfortunately overslept. The shop has a cancellation and no show fee of 50% which I was aware of. The front desk agent Alexandria informed me that I could still be seen for my services but I would get a quick pedi and keep my deluxe mani. I asked if I could still get the deluxe pedi and just cancel the mani, due to my feet needing the most work. She informed me that they could not explaining something about not being about to do more than one pedi. I didn’t understand her reasoning and ultimately ended up leaving and paying the cancellation fee. My issue is not with the fee, I even offered to pay for the mani cancellation fee in order to get a deluxe pedi. My issue is their level of customer service and ability to problem solve. I feel that they need to work on better customer service and accommodating a customers needs.

Mollie K is the best! She is extremely friendly and does a great job! I broke a nail and wasn’t able to make an upcoming appointment and she offered to come in and do my nails on her day off. She has also worked late when I was unable to get an appointment I order to fit me in. I love how they use organic products and my nails are strong and in great condition.

I love Spruce. I dont get frequent manicures, but I always come to Spruce when I do. On Monday I got a quickie manicure. The tech was super nice and thorough, but unfortunately I woke up the next morning with some smudges on a couple nails. I messaged Spruce and they quickly got me scheduled to come in today. Molly, the owner, took care of me. I was only expecting to get two nails re-done, but she insisted on redoing all of my nails. I really appreciate how kind and professional everyone is. This is by far the best place in Cincinnati!

Went to this place because I had a gift card. The place has a nice vibe, and even offer coffee and tea instead of just water like most places which was nice. I decided to do gel French tips, which is my go to. I’ll just say, I’ve had better jobs done elsewhere for a better price. They started chipping not even a week in! They just aren’t lasting as long as I’m used to, and even though I had a gift card, I still ended up paying the price I pay elsewhere for a better job. Overpriced and disappointing quality!

Enjoyed my time at spruce from start to finish. The shop is beautiful and they offer a variety of services, including manicures, pedicures and spray tans. All of their products are natural I would recommend having an appointment as they have a lot of wedding parties come through and make sure you grab a punch card for some discounts.

It was my first time at spruce and was last minute but they were able to accomodate me and got everything I wanted done in the time we had available. the service was amazing. im very impressed how friendly and warm the staff and owner are. to top that off the price for getting both a mani padi even for a quickie service was not just more afordable than what i had done previously but the results looked like i just had a lucrative mani pedi done.. definitely coming back soon!

I have been to Spruce a few times and usually the experience is good. But today I had a polish change scheduled. Just a quick 20 minute polish change. I had called the day before to ask if I could push it back 10 minutes (heading there after work) and they said no. That was fine, I totally understood. However, after I left work early and sprinted there to arrive a few minutes early, I still found that I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my appointment to start. Then after my appointment, I smudged a toe putting my sandals on, but my tech had already left. So I had to go home and re-do it myself, with a white that did not match the one used. Then I went to pay and the receptionist was no where to be found for several minutes. Finally another tech left her customer to check me out. I was there for a 20 minute polish change for over an hour. Had to re-do 2 smudged toes myself. Just wanted a pre-wedding (not mine, dont worry) pedicure and feel like I wasted $20 and an hour plus.

Spruce is one of the best places Ive ever gotten my nails done. They are kind and warm when you enter the store, and they even offer you coffee and tea to enjoy as you get your nails done. I also love the clean products and the fantastic nail art available at this salon. If you are in the area you should definitely make an appointment and enjoy a little pampering.

Spruce Nail Shops Wedding Coordinator, Agnes, hooked me and my wedding party up with an unforgettable experience. We had 10 people there and we were greeted with warm welcomes by the entire staff. They even included a little Congrats Ben sign in their decor. The booking process, the customer service, and the actual services were simply perfect. I cant say enough great things about Spruce. Its one of my favorite places to go when I want to treat myself. Their atmosphere is so calm and homey. Their work ethic is impeccable, these ladies really do everything they can to make sure youre enjoying yourself and it doesnt go unnoticed!

Horrible customer service. I called a head to see if they had room for a pedicure and the girl on the phone says yes. I tell her Ill be there by 1:30pm and when I showed up at 1:30, the receptionist looks me and my husband up and down, gives us a dirty look and tells me they are fully booked and to make an appointment some other time. I always make sure to call ahead when visiting a new salon to make sure they have an opening. To be told they have one and to then show up and being rudely turned away is disgusting.Ive lived in Cincinnati all my life until I was 17, and to be greeted 11 years later by horrible customer service on my birthday of all days...its disturbing.

Great Place! I needed help getting my nails healthy and they were a wonderful help! Not only did they take great care of me during my appointment but they gave me expert advice on ways to keep my nails healthy at home. Definitely worth the extra time to pass all the nail salons between Milford and OTR.

Ive gotten one facial at Spruce which was amazing. I booked another one and planned on doing them every month before my wedding. I also inquired about having my wedding party have their nails done there too. I scheduled an appointment to have my nails done to try it out and I woke up very sick with a fever so I called to cancel my appointment. The girl on the phone told me that I would be charged 100% of the visit for the late notice- that didn’t sound right to me so she went to ask her manager and came back and said it was actually 50%. I agree that the nails techs shouldBe paid for late notice cancellations, it was the way the girl on the phone treated me. The way that this girl was speaking to me was so condescending and rude that I decided to cancel the rest of my services that I had scheduled, and it sounded like she was happy to do it. I called back and spoke to the manager who did apologize and was nice, but didn’t do anything to remedy the situation. I expect better customer service out of a high end salon. I live in downtown Cincinnati and support small businesses but this was unacceptable.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I can say for an absolute fact that I have never had a better experience at a nail salon ever! The place smells fantastic, the nail techs wear gloves!, they use sterile tools that are used only once per day!, and Ashley A took her time did a fantastic job! So happy right now! I will never go to another nail salon unless they meet the standard this place has set!

I regularly schedule appointments for my boss who LOVES Andrea. Most times when I call I have the pleasure of speaking with Agnes who knows exactly who I am and who my boss is and that well also need to be scheduling my bosss mother and that the window of opportunity is crazy. She is always upbeat, positive, friendly and works magic to make it happen!

Great shop. Small, very clean and professional. Since its a natural shop you dont have the chemical smells of most places. This is the only place I get my nails done now! They are growing and now have a natural version of gel polish which I love because it lasts longer! Its not the cheapest place, but it is well worth the money in skill and atmosphere.
