Small company, probably a good company if your not of color. ZERO diversity, and if they do they barely meet law requirements. A little uncomfortable interviewing and not seeing any culture being represented.

Reliable is strictly in the name and not their modo. Reliable contacted me to quote upcoming loads we had. I told the rep that we had an order leaving the Monday after thanksgiving that we were flying people out to receive. The rep gave an extremely competitive quote that beat the broker I have been working with for several years as well as another broker we have been working with for a few months. We sent over our credit app to them 3 weeks before the load was going to be picked up. The day before Thanksgiving Reliable contacted me stating that they couldnt do business with us due to credit issues. The rep said that our report came back bad and that none of the references that they contacted replied back however through further conversation she said that she actually heard back from 1. This was shocking to me because we are open with over 300 vendors with extremely high credit lines and have never been turned down for credit in the past. When I asked if I could prepay with a credit card she said that we couldnt. When I asked if I could send a check for the freight charges prior to the load she said that they couldnt accept that. When I asked to wire the funds she said no as well.I explained the importance of the load prior to the shipment and the rep waited 19 days of holding my credit app to break the news to us that they couldnt do business with us. Interestingly enough when I contacted Dun and Bradstreet they had not requested a copy of our credit report.The entire situation was extremely fishy. It seemed like Reliable mis-quoted the freight so they were covering themselves by pushing the problem over to us. Odd that they dont take any other form of payment besides payments on account.In my case Reliable was actually extremely Un-Reliable, there are several other brokers out there so I would suggest finding another.
