A great place to work
Two experiences with this company, both miserable. They tell you it will be there on a date, it doesnt show up, when you call they say they dont have any drivers available, say it will be there the next day and then it doesnt show up and it is the same fiasco the next day. First delivery was a week late and the boxes were a train wreck. Its like the Ace Ventura delivery scene. Same problems on the second delivery. This company is pathetic.

I have worked here for almost a year and have told everyone who will listen that for a trucking job this is one of the best. I have good pay with good benefits and a job I enjoy, driving round trip 5 times a week and home just about every single day. I work nights which means I have to be careful to get enough sleep but it also means that I dont miss anything with my children or grandchildren in the evenings. Bottom line is that I work about 9 hours each night and after union dues and taxes and very good medical insurance I bring home a check for $1,000 each week. Other truck Holland drivers may make more but they are also gone from their homes a whole lot more and thats just not the life I want to have now that Im 60.If perchance I do have to stay overnight Im always put up in a motel, I never have to sleep in the truck. They are all day cabs. I started in a standard International and now Im driving a Freightliner automatic. If my load is not ready when I arrive for work then I am paid to wait. If I break down by the side of the road that Im paid to wait. I am always treated with courtesy and respect by everyone in dispatch and the other drivers are helpful and ready to do whatever they can to assist me. From what I hear from other drivers with other companies I feel like I have it very very good and would have no problem recommending this company to others.
Waited a long time for them to find and deliver my pallets
Absolutely horrible service. Driver hit a sign and power lines before even getting to our location. Our delivery was on a main road (St Rd 229) so nothing too complicated. Refused to back into our lot because he was afraid to hit more lines. We have multiple truck deliveries a month with no issues. He parked in the main road and then proceed to tell us he could not pull the 3 pallets off the road because they were too heavy (350lbs) and we didnt pay to have them pulled any distance. We paid for lift gate service, but I guess that doesnt include getting the pallets off the gate. Just simply lazy!
I ordered kitchen cabinets through an Ohio-based cabinet company who used this Holland location for delivery. Holland never bothered to call us to schedule for a Monday delivery and showed up at our home for an unannounced delivery (the home is currently uninhabited due to rehab). My husband was off work, and could have been there to accept the two pallets and unload.I find out the next day that they have our order. I schedule for a Wednesday delivery - stressing that I am taking time, unpaid, off work. Customer service offers a 3-5pm slot so I can leave work later. My husband has also been sent away for work meanwhile - so I have to hire a crew to unload the pallets into the house4:30pm Wednesday - nothing. I call Holland to check-in and find out our cabinets were never put on the truck!!! Customer Service is baffled and sends me to Shipping Supervisor. Supervisor says it should come tomorrow. I explain I cannot take off work and repay/reschedule my crew - he says there is nothing he can do. Our cabinet company ended up getting them to agree to a 7:30pm delivery (same night).At 7:30, I get a call from the cabinet company who is helping us, AND HOLLAND LOST OUR 17K WORTH OF KITCHEN CABINETS. So at this point, I have been sitting at our house, a construction zone without even a camping chair, for nearly 5 hours... AND have paid a crew to sit there with me. You would think at 5pm, when they reschedule the delivery for the same night, that they would locate our order and have it ready. NO.As of today, they say they found our order. It has been raining and I know our cabinets were on a truck Monday. If they were left on that truck all this time, that means there is likely moisture damage. Our cabinet companys owner is going to sit at our house today for the new scheduled delivery and unload for us since I already paid for a crew to sit on my driveway 5 hrs yesterday.Even if our cabinets show up undamaged, this has been a NIGHTMARE, especially for an order with so much value. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are incompetent and will do nothing to make things right.

Ordered a wine refrigerator from Home Depot and Holland managed to lose it. I was told three different times that it would be delivered. Finally, they admitted that they had no idea where my package was. I cancelled the order and will find a company that will sell it to me and find a reliable delivery company.
Ive been working in logistics for the past year and a half here in Cincinnati and Ive not had any bad experience with USF Holland. The drivers are friendly and professional and pick ups and deliveries have been on time. No complaints here! Great job!
Avoid them if you can. Showed up with no pallet jack so rescheduled for next day. Never showed so I called and was told will not deliver since we dont have a dock or forklift. Schedule for another day and rented a forklift. Never showed up so when I called they cant find our delivery now....
Will never order anything from anywhere that has to be shipped through them. Still waiting for my delivery way past time. Cant get anyone on the phone. If i could give no stars I would!
USF Called me a week in advance to set up delivery to my residence. Gave me a date and time window for delivery and assured me they would be here when I asked again to confirm delivery... took extra measures and time off work to make sure Id be here for the package to move it inside... no call.. no show. I understand things can happen with shipping however a simple phone call or email would have been nice so I didnt take time off work and waste my day. Absolutely ridiculous and AWFUL customer service.
Would never order anything aqain that would require shipping by Holland Freight to their Cincinnati terminal! Had delivery scheduled for Thursday between 12 & 5, wasnt delivered. Called & eventually got it rescheduled for Friday, again it wasnt delivered. Called again & they said would check & call me back, waited 40 min w/ no call. I called again & was told they couldnt find it but had 2 supervisors looking for it. I asked that he have one of them call me back. That didnt happen and of course no one is there on Saturday. Ill try again early Monday. Im to the point that when they find it just send it back to Home Depot.
Organized, the lot was very clean and the staff ready to help at a moments notice. First time to this location and Im super impressed!!!

Used twice and both times it didnt get put on the truck for some reason. Dont use especially for business if you need your delivery.
