Clear goals for therapy were set early on by me and Tony worked with me each session toward them. I chose Tony not only because of his credentials but also because he gives homework which allowed me to be a real participant in my therapy. I reached out to Tony through his website when my spouse and I were beginning the process of separating and seeking pre-divorce counseling. I was looking for a professional with a goal-oriented approach to therapy who could help us chart a path forward for effective co-parenting and communication before, during, and after the divorce. Tony responded immediately to my inquiry and laid out several options for how we might proceed working with him. We opted to enter into couples counseling with an eye toward mediating (using a different mediator) once we finished working through some issues and could align ourselves on a shared vision for the future.I found Tony to be a straightforward, clear communicator, a transparent and resourceful neutral, and a compassionate listener. I appreciated the detailed goal setting and other homework that Tony had us do at the outset. It really helped to clarify where each of us was coming from, how we got to where we are, and what each of us wants (or doesnt want) for the future. I found Tonys use of the Enneagram as a tool in our therapy sessions to be particularly valuable and enlightening. Tony was also of great assistance in helping us find a mediator when the time came to begin that process.

Anyone in a relationship knows that they are not without their challenges! My husband and I have been together nearly 20 years and are so different as people we often communicate like we are speaking two different languages! Unlike many solo therapy sessions I’ve experienced in the past were I just sat and talked and the therapist listened and nodded their head while scribbling constantly, Tony has a much more structured approach. Utilizing tools like the Enneagram to help you discover things about yourself, how you operate and your partner as well. I enjoyed the fact that he was frank and the point with his communication.
