Affordable, quality repair service. Pricing was half up front, and half after the repair was completed, which eases the financial burden of tech repair. The guys in the shop were friendly and informative. My item took a while to get back to me, but its only because they were waiting for a part needed for my laptop. You will always get a better quality and less expensive repair here compared to Best Buy or Staples.

They were professional, repaired my most recent device fast (in 1 day), and were polite. There was good communication each time I called about something. They called me back when it was ready. They exceeded my expectations.Furthermore, I was first a customer two years ago when I brought in an expensive laptop ($1500 Razer gaming laptop), it was broken due to my own negligence, and they were able to repair it and its still working today and stays on 24/7. They do an excellent job and charged me a fair price both times.

ProTechs went above and beyond to try to repair my Surface Pro 7 screen. They tried different hardware and software solutions and none worked, but I blame Microsoft instead of ProTechs. Microsofts Surface line is notoriously difficult to do repairs on because they want you to pay more for another tablet or for their pricey refurbish program.I was charged for the labor of the repair attempts, which is totally reasonable. I asked them to spend some time trying to repair it and thats what they did. They deserve to be compensated for that labor even if the result wasnt a successful repair.I would definitely use them in the future because they have proven their professionalism and integrity as a staff.

Poor communication. They acted like they had no idea what was going on. They charged us and didn’t even talk about cost before proceeding with retrieving files from our broken computer. Expectations were very unclear. We are never coming here again!

My mid 2014 Mac protective coating on my screen starting fading. Apple would not replace even though this was a known OEM issue. Protechs happened to have my model LCD in stock and replaced my screen with same day installation at an affordable cost! I am so happy with my repair to my iPad pro 4th gen. For some reason i was not thinking when i made the purchase of the ipad and didnt buy apple care. Less than six months later i dropped the iPad face down on my stone/tile floor. Of course the screen was shattered. It still worked if i wanted to get tiny shards of glass in my fingers. I attempted to use the Geek Squad where I purchased the iPad and was told there was nothing they could do except file a warranty claim since it was less than a year old and apple would replace the iPad at the out of pocket cost of a brand new iPad. I was floored. So I hand you back my damaged iPad to file a warranty claim and apple would send me a replacement but it would cost me out of pocket what I paid for the iPad in the first place???? I asked the tech sales rep at the chain store could i go to a third party for a repair and did he know of any place. He recommended YBWF electronics repair store right up the road from the chain store. He did stress doing so would void my warranty but as far as I could see my product warranty wasnt doing me any good as it was since I refused to pay full price for a replacement from apple.When i showed my iPad to the counter clerk at YBWF and asked if they take the new generations iPads for screen repair and was told no they do not has they had no luck with the repair. I was mad at myself and disgusted that I now a $1500 piece of equipment that will now be a paperweight. I decided searched google for iPad pro repair and other than the current store YBWF where i was sitting in my car in their parking lot, the next listing to from my google search was- Protechs Advanced Electronic Repair.I called the next business day. All i was asked was the model number on the back. Once i gave the model number i was assured sure yeah we can do that repair. just bring it in. We will need to order the screen. it will take about 7-10 days. I was asked if I had any wires showing as this would make the iPad unsalvageable but I fortunately did not. Long story short. the cheapest route would have been for me to purchase the applecare, and a screen protector. But since I didnt Protech Advanced saved me about grand and I couldnt be happier. The iPad works great and I have no issues or complaints. The repair was completed in less than 10 days as promised. These gentlemen are friendly, professional, and most important competent.I realize I just received my iPad back so I am only in day three of having the repair completed but I have to stress that even if the iPad was to quit working or have issues, without the applecare I my only option was to pay the cost of a new iPad. Any additional use out of my repaired iPad makes me happy.

I have gone here twice for phone repairs, and both times I was incredibly happy with the service. My first time was after foolishly trying to repair a cracked smartphone screen myself and shredding the LCD display. I called around to multiple repair shops and ProTechs had the lowest price and nicest responses. Tim (I think hes the manager?) even offered to put on a screen protector I had bought for free and helped me save money several times along the way. I honesty wont be going to any other phone repair shop in Cincinnati but ProTechs.

ProTechs are Covid responsible. They fixed my glass within 2 hours, and was the lowest priced quote out of 4 nearby competitors. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone, especially UC students. The phone/computer repair shops up the hill, are clearly taking advantage of the students by charging more than they should for the same service. I took my iPhone in to get the shattered screen repaired a few days ago. The process went smoothly. The team was very professional and helpful. The repair took about an hour and ten minutes to complete and I havent had any issues. I would definitely recommend their service and would bring any of my devices to them for repair in the future!

I called ahead of time for a broken iphone xs max screen. He said told me to bring it down and he could take care of it no problem even offered a discount. I didnt have cash upfront because my money is in cashapp or my bank app. This was no problem for them. Told me it would be done in an hour. When I got back I had a brand new screen. And he let me pay from my newly fixed phone. Also offered to upgrade the screen from lcd to oled within 14days. Reassured me the entire process. Beware of this company - they are so UNPROFESSIONAL! I needed a new cover and hinges for my laptop. After waiting SIX months and this company still had not made the repair, I decided to go elsewhere. Not once during this time did I ever receive an update from ProTechs. I called myself a couple of times and always got a lame excuse as to why my laptop was not repaired and the last time I called the employee just wanted to argue with me. When I finally got my laptop home, it was in worse condition than when I brought it in! In fact, the operating system doesn’t work at all and I have to trash it. This company is a JOKE!

So I brought in my sons ps4 to be repaired back in June, they told me it takes at least 2 weeks to fix most ps4s. I waited about 2 and a half weeks and ended up calling them to check on the status of it and they said they would call me back. Another 2 weeks went by still no contact from them so I called again and this time they say its not repairable and that something might be wrong with the motherboard, I say okay when can I pick it up? he said they have to put the hard drive back in and they would call me when its ready. So Another week goes by I call them and asked if it was ready they said no cause someone lost the hard drive. Well this went on for 2 months, just basically playing phone tag for another 6 weeks cause I work and it is a pandemic going on. Long story short they still have my sons ps4. Never returned back to me with the hard drive. I dont know how to handle this particular situation anymore. Im giving it 3 stars cause even though I havent got his ps4 back they werent rude or anything I just think theyre overwhelmed with repairs. But hopefully someone who works there sees this review and gets back to me. Stay safe everyone.

The staff members are really friendly and professional and get 5 stars each! That said, I wish they had just said they could not fix my Samsung S8 broken screen. The first time, it came back with fixed screen but would not recognize my sim; went back, got the phone back fixed but now my camera app would not open; went back got phone back but would not charge; went back, got my phone back and now it will not charge or open any apps with error message that the phone is too hot. I gave up and got a new phone. If they told me Samsung phones are troublesome once the back is opened from the beginning versus at my 3rd visit, I would have saved ~$300 and just gotten a new phone....sigh. But all my iPhone friends that go here are happy! A simple broken screen should not lead to soo much more, a low review is not punishment; people are excellent, I just did not get my phones screen fixed, instead a myriad of other issues. Simple.

They are a little lazy in my opinion, because they took 22 days to run a diagnosis on my computer and figure out the problem. However, I had lost interest in the repair by then and had gotten another computer. I kept making calls and trips down to the shop and was almost always told to check back later. I dont question their expertise, fir I did not get to make use of it. I do, however, find their work ethics a little problematic.

I took my Macbook here to have a cracked screen replaced. I was told that the new screen would require that the entire top panel be replaced. It was going to be replaced with a used screen, so I was told there may be some scratches on the top of the case, but everything else should be fine. I waited several weeks without receiving a phone call. I then called them to see if it was ready. It was ready, apparently, they just hadnt called me. I went to pick it up and noticed that the new screen had dead pixels everywhere. It also has a broken camera. I asked that they replace it. At first, I was told that they wouldnt do this. Then they told me they would, but that they would need to order the new screen, so I should just hold on to my computer until the new part came in. I went home and waited a week. No call. I called several times, at one point speaking to the owner, Cleo who told me the part was on its way. After calling every week for a couple months and not receiving any callbacks, I gave up. I tried to cancel it via my credit card but it didnt work, so Im out $300 and I now have faulty screen and a broken camera that still needs to be fixed.

I had taken both my laptop and my Xbox here to be repaired due to severe water damage. I truthfully did not have any hope that either of my electronics would be fixed since water was basically poured directly into the main vents of both electronics, but to my surprise they were able to fix both! Relatively inexpensive as well. I had set my reservation price at $450 and they were able to fix both for a third of that price. I can not recommend them enough.
