I am most appreciative of the BBB for handling my case. It took me months of trying to do things on my own and obtaining the run around from the company that refused to help me. The BBB was contacted and remained diligent in assuring the company was doing what they were supposed to, to correct my problem. I have used the BBB several times and I love you all and thank you all for everything. You are an Amazing company with great staff that take pride in their job. That alone shows greatness because not many people go the extra mile to work at anything these days. You all show that work means just that, to work and get things done. BE BLESSED ALWAYS.

Great service. I felt I had no where to turn to help with a warranty issue I had spend months trying to resolve so I decided to go to the BBB. The company I had an issue with contacted me right away and the issue was resolved better than I expected. I was extremely happy with the results and fast response. I have never used the BBB before but I’m glad I did I’m very impressed.

I was having difficulty receiving a refund from a nationally known chain store. When I contacted the store, I kept getting the run around. After many hours spent trying to resolve the issue, I contacted the BBB. Almost immediately the store management called me and made the necessary corrections. It was very easy to go online to the BBB site, fill out the necessary information, and then participate in the resolution. I am so thankful this service is available! After weeks of calling the Cincinnati Enquirer on an almost daily basis to get the paper delivered to our house instead of the top of a shared driveway, I finally decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Once I did this I immediately got a call from a manager and he followed up every day until we finally got the paper delivered to the right place. We really got no help with this issue until the Better Business Bureau stepped in. I was very pleased that this avenue worked to fix our issue.

The business did not respond to my case complaint. When there is no response within 30 days, I think the BBB should do a follow up with that business instead of dropping the case and telling the customer to pursue other options. Opening the BBB case was no different then me sending the business an email and not getting a response. I expected the BBB to do more than send 1 email to the company.

I was expecting help with a business that refused to replace lenses on eyeglasses or refund money for eyeglasses I could not use. Instead I ended up wasting my time. They just had me write out the issued and accepted the companys decision not tor replace or refund money. I have never been so disappointed.

I had a large addition that was several months late with very little communication from the vendor. I did notice that things did get moving shortly after reaching out to BBB (thank you). However, when updates come from BBB, there is only an ACCEPT / REJECT option. If you accept the comment, they indicate that you are stating the issue is fully resolved.. which it has not so I rejected with comment. The job is only 1/2 complete and learned that BBB closed the complaint as complete but customer still unsatisfied! This is not complete and there is no clear way to re-open the complaint. I believe BBB is being measured on the length of time the complaints are open.. if they stay open too long, they get rated accordingly. I believe they closed the complaint too soon and now dont know if the vendor will actually complete the build in a timely basis now that the complaint is closed.

Recently I made a complaint to BBB Cincinnati regarding our Internet service. My complaint was closed without a single response from the Internet Service Provider. Dont waste your time complaining to BBB. I would rather complain to my dog, who will give a better response. Do you wonder why most businesses have A+ ratings with BBB? That is because they dont take real complaints like mine. They protect the big companies where they are probably getting a kickback. I guess the only option I have left is to higher a lawyer. I would not recommend BBB to anybody.

I had fairly quick response to my concerns, however, when you did not get any response from the company that I and others felt was a scam, I received what I consider a stock answer. The company did not respond and we could not contact anyone involved, so the case will be closed seems like a typical nonresponse to me. I do not feel you worked hard enough to try to find out what was happening. My credit card company was able to contact them and is working on the case. The Better Business Bureau Always There for Me. Their website is very easy to research and see how businesses are doing by reading the reviews or complaints whether the business is BBB Accredited or not. You see how the business is performing to their customer satisfaction and then decide if you feel confident with them.My latest experience was to research the company I was having issues with. Read others complaint and decided that I need to file a complaint as well. The process was easy and fast. That companies representative contacted me within a couple of days and started their process to address my complaint. Within two weeks my issue was resolved. Im glad I used the BBB to help me get this problem fixed. They provide a great service to the consumer as well as the community in which they support.

I reserved a car at Hertz @ 1610 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45246 location, and received final confirmation of vehicle that I had reserved two days before I picked up. Yet the mini van that I had reserved, despite my call to Hertz Customer Service day 17 hours before I picked up, was not available, even a mini van was at the lot. Hertz took no accountability and provided no explanation on the miss. It had ruined my travel plan. Because of a smaller vehicle that was made available to me, my family and I had to take two cars instead of one for the trip, Made matter worse, I was still charged at the mini van rental rate for a smaller vehicle! Bait & Switch?

I had a problem with Oral Bs satisfaction guarantee refund promise (run by Procter & Gamble) as they kept not sending me my refund card. If not for the Better Business Bureau helping me (they had to send several messages to the company), I would not have received my $200 back, despite clearly following all of the stipulations. Sad for them they picked the wrong person to try to do what they done. I purchased windows and a patio door for my home a few years ago . These windows and doors were still under warranted and defective, displaying cloudiness, loss of heat and energy bills increasing . I complained to the company after a service call, my replacement windows were supposedly ordered to replace all of my window and patio door . They should have been delivered, and installed around twelve weeks later, but that didn’t happen . Two years later, still no results, so I reached out to the BBB and filed a complaint. On a Friday by Monday the next week I was contacted by the company and insured that the order is now placed . I should expect delivery around March .The district manager go the company promise to follow through and keep me updated with the progress . I so appreciate the BBB as a resource to help consumers like me, resolve issues with big companies .

The Better Business Bureau only receives complaints; and informs other side involved. There is no guarantee for issues to be resolved. Definitely if other side involved; refuses to take responsibility for their actions. As far as services received with this company; communication occured with two different individuals. One seemed professional and did their best to resolve matter. And the other individual was abrasive.

I clicked on an advertisement online. I wanted to look at the product they were CDB gummy bears for sale. The product stated it would be $30 for a bottle I thought I would give it a try. I clicked on the byproduct and then a bunch of advertisements came up for other things which I declined. After going through the products and coming to the end receipt I paid the $30. Then my receipt came back and it was $152. I then contacted customer support and was told that the money has already been taken out of my account. If I didn’t like the product I could send it back for a refund. I told him that I did not want to pay that much money for five bottles of the product I just wanted the one. The gentleman told me too bad when you get the product if you don’t like it send it back in five or six weeks.The next day I went online to the Better Business Bureau and filled out a report because I wanted other people to find out about it. The next day I received a call from Tammy B From the Better Business Bureau she wanted a little more information about the company I advised her that I had located the name of the company and the phone number she stated she would see what you could do.To my surprise the next day I received the email from customer service of the company. The email stated you could have 75% off and just send the The rest of Back.I returned the email stating that I did not want the product I wanted a full refund and nothing to do with that company anymore. To my surprise I was also signed up for annual shipment of the product.Thanks for the efforts of Tammy B The next day the entire refund of the $150 was in my account.Without the help of the Better Business Bureau I don’t think I’ve ever would’ve received any amount of the money back and would’ve been signed up for a yearly delivery of the product.This is the first time I’ve use the Better Business Bureau and learned a lesson it pays.Thank you for your help Tammy B

This was my first time using the BBB and did not know what to expect. My issue with the business involved had come to a standstill. Within a few days of filing my complaint with the BBB, and getting an acknowledgement that the business in question had been contacted, I was contacted by the business involved. The resolution process moved forward with one other nudge from the BBB.Overall I was extremely happy with the prompt replies and and efforts put forth by the BBB to obtain a resolution.

BBB solved my issue with Macys just within a few days less than a week. I returned shoes to Mayss but they werent giving my money back and I was trying and trying to deal with them for half a year but nothing worked. I would call macys and after being on the phone with them for 40 min they would say dont worry we will give your money back within 5 days. But than nothing would be returned. And Ive had several of this calls. I thought it will not happen ang no money would be returned. I got so tired explaining the situation over and over again. BBB did amazing job! I dont know what they did but macys returned my money and contacted me apologizing. So thank you BBB I am beyond satisfied! And by the way I live in Brooklyn NY not in Cincinnati. I dont know how it works but they did it. Problem solved. Thanks again BBB for making them give my $50 back!

Thank goodness for the BBB. I had purchased a good from a national company, but that good was not provided. I contacted the company repeatedly, and went through their corporate customer service process to no avail. The csr that I worked with was all over the place. I had to reach out to her multiple times to send her additional information. I also had to remind her about my case due to “she works so many a day”. I don’t feel her and the team took consideration on the quality of the information I gave them. The only why I give her a three star is because she communicated with me after we exchanged emails. When I posted the complaint on the bbb website I was able to obtain information that the property manager wasn’t willing to give me before.

Don’t waste your time with the BBB. It will only be a waste of time and produce absolutely no positive outcome. I have filed 3 complaints over the past 20 years and all have been for nothing. I even had a court judgement awarded and the BBB still would not post my negative review even though they stated they would once a judgement was awarded. Absolutely no contact or replies ever from the BBB. I sure hope our tax dollars are not going to fund this worthless organization. The BBB once stood for something but now it only panders to their paid members and act as lip service to those with real problems. Trust me. Don’t waste your time. If you have a problem and can take it through the court system, do that instead.

Unfortunately I had to contact the BBB regarding problems with an eBay purchase that the vendor was refusing to resolve. Tammy Bs response was immediate, as was her follow-up. She elicited an immediate response from the vendor (which was founded on a falsehood, but thats not the BBBs fault). I, in parallel, contacted the CEO, and thereby achieved complete resolution, but am confident that the BBB would have achieved similarly. A great service, and good to know that there is someone who can help when things go awry.

I just wish there was a phone number that I would be able to use. They were very helpful with macys They were able to make Macys understand what my furniture issue was. A dispute with Macys Department Store caused me to seek help from the Better Business Bureau in trying to get my issue resolved, since I was not successful in communicating with Macys by phone nor correspondence. After contacting BBB I was connected with their BBB Representative. Immediately Tina contacted me, where upon I gave her all the details in this matter, she then contacted Macys.Tina contacted Macys and communicated my concerns. After a period of ten days Tina responded with Macys reply that met my approval. If you ever want to check out a company to file a complaint etc., go through the BBB. I needed info on a company in their area (Cincinnati) and the BBB there provided me with the most efficient customer service Ive ever had. They were quick to respond. And, laid out what the BBB can do for you. Especially, if someone is giving you a run for your money.I suggest you always check out the business before you buy, when youre not familiar with them.. Go on the BBBs website in any city...they will help.

Regarding Schaeffers Investment Research, Inc. out of Cincinnati, OH. I ordered on-line a $29 one month trial of their options recommendation service. I received their recommended trades, acted on them, and lost my shirt. 90% of them lost money. Then 8 days later, without my permission, they charged my credit card an additional $495 for their services. I did not read this as part of the deal and demanded a refund. They refused. They claimed it was in the fine print. My advice - stay far away from this crooked outfit. If you give them your credit card number, theyll charge the heck out of it. Plus, their advice is worse than worthless.

Connecting with Macys customer service was impossible. Nobody picked up the phone regardless of my multiple attempts during two weeks to get through. I purchased an item on line and upon receiving it the inspection tag indicated it was over three years old, had dings and scratches and didnt work. Ive been fighting a losing battle with a large corporation for over five years. They were in the wrong, but that didnt stop them from sending multiple collection agencies after me and filling incorrect reports impacting my credit rating. If you are unable to get resolution from a company re: products and/or services, utilize the BBB. They work on your behalf to make sure youre being treated fairly. I had an issue with a dept store, but was unable to reach them by phone, email, etc. I contacted the BBB and they got the ball rolling immediately. Within one week my issue was resolved. Recently I submitted to BBB about Tire Discounters not issuing my refund for services I paid for to have a slow leaking tire repaired and it did not get repaired. With the help of BBB I received my refund and will never return to that business, Tire Discounters, again. If I did not involve BBB, the business would never have given me my money back and the rudeness of their employees and management I dealt with would be an ongoing thing to this day. This organization gets results. I bought some things from the Macys online portal toward the end of May 2020. The website estimated the shipment would arrive a week later. 3 weeks passed without delivery before I tried to contact the company figuring that all businesses would likely have problems owing to the pandemic, but Macys had no customer service operating, either by phone or email. Now Im frustrated as I cant understand a company selling goods but not being available should a problem arise. So I contact the BBB who apparently know who to contact at a business when things go awry. The very same day I got a response from Macys corporate office and things were sorted out.BBB is the best !

The follow up i received from BBB was outstanding, I contacted BBB because i cannot afford a lawyer. I am thankful that the dealer that took advantage of me has a mark against them posted now, thats good. But i was really hoping that i could recover the 4000.00 I paid for the car they sold me knowing and hiding all its problems. I am left without a reliable car and it will take a while to save that much money again. However, I am glad that because of BBB,, the potential for another person getting ripped off is less likely to occur.

I was unable to reach a knowledgeable support person at Macys regarding a billing error. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was quickly contacted by Macys and they promptly fixed the problem.

I was experiencing difficulties with Fifth Third Bank so much to the point that I had to refinance to get my mortgage out of their hands. Fifth Third started escrowing my account even though I never escrowed with them. When I refinanced they owed me the escrow money. If I didn’t write Tina at BBB then I feel I would of been still fighting for that money. The BBB, Tina immediately responded and got involved with Fifth Third. After Tina contacted Fifth Third I got an immediate response from the Bank and they settled my need. So if you’re experiencing a hard time with a company I highly recommend the BBB.

Yes Tammy, you failed to help us with the situation, when My wife parents both passed at the same time, we really could have used the 500 dollars to help with funeral arrangements, we had to have them cremated the venue that would not return the money was unbelievable. Not to mention you being very happy with all of it. Thank you If something happens to your parents and you dont have enough money to have two funerals think of that.I guess the venue needed the money more then we did.

My only regret is not contacting the BBB sooner. After days to 2 weeks of tireless, stressful, exhausting attempts at a resolution it wasn’t until I contacted the BBB I finally was approached by the company for a resolution.It is because of organizations like the BBB consumers rights are still being advocated for.Thank you so much!

I contacted BBB because my lenses provider did not want to change my deficient coating lenses.I did It because the lenses provider asked me to fill too many forms for claiming and at the end they said no possibly to replace my lenses because I did not bought at the time of purchase of them, a 25 CND insurance .After several days in the process and exhausted of trying with them and always getting their negativity, I contacted BBB, I explained my case and immediately they took the proper approach with the lenses provider and finally the lenses provider decided to replace the bad quality coating lenses.

I had a refund issue with a company that services fire extinguishers and the company just wasnt responding after months and months of contacting them and waiting. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and told them of my complaint with that company and provided evidence and within a week I had a resolution and received my refund from the company sent overnight. I am completely satisfied with their services and promptness and would recommend them any day!
