I will Never go back to Jake Sweeney again! Ive purchased 3 vehicles from them and Ive had service work done over the years. I recently took My truck their due to an issue with my trailer brake light coming on for no reason and an issue with my front driver assist. I asked were there in flags or recalls and O was told No! After being charged for 2 inspections and receiving a ridiculous estimate over the 260.00 inspection. I took my vehicle elsewhere and was told GM has a flag about the trailer brake being an issue due to corrosion. Now why a certified GM dealership didnt tell me that I guess I will never know. Needless to say.. HONESTY is pretty important in business. So I wont be back!

Dealership mentality. Initially I was there for a brake booster fix. Asked for a buyout quote of my truck while it was there and sales could not send any official PDF or paper quote based on their estimate. After the fix I notified the company about a new alignment and vibration issue that wasnt there before the booster work. Received recommendations on alignment and balance service by the service team so I approved their recommendation. The work on the truck did not fix the issue. I brought it back a second time and took a ride along with a service agent and didnt get an exact answer as he was to look at it after I left it there for the rest of the day. The 2nd service issue on the visit still has not fixed what they recommended and the alignment is just overcompensated in the opposite direction than it started with the vibration still occurring. Each time I took it there. The time and money spent on dealing with them has caused more expense than it is worth dealing with. The only positive thing that I can say about the visit was the positivity and willingness of the service desk in the entrance.

I am very pleased with my purchase from Jake Sweeney Chevrolet. And I cant say enough good things about my salesman, Joe Wise. He was very helpful in making certain I found the right vehicle and then provided excellent service assuring that all my needs were met. After reading some of the reviews on here I was initially apprehensive about visiting this dealership. But my experience with Joe was the exact opposite of what some have written and I can easily highly recommend them.
The service department was very professional, we went in for a routine oil change but we had issues with our car and they looked at the car discovered that there was in fact an issue fixed the problem and because my car was under warranty didnt have to pay. They were quick about the service
It was fine. Its what you expect at a car dealership. Service personal is always courteous. Most are wearing mask which is a big plus for us
On the plus side they got my car running. They charged me more than what they told me over the phone. They did not clean up their mess and things still are not totally working they way they should.

Set up an appointment online which could not have been easier. Showed up at my appointed time and worked with Brelan to get my car checked in.Throughout the whole process Brelan kept me informed of the issues found and answered any other questions I had quickly through text and was very professional.Picked up the car a day later due to the work I had done and what needed to be ordered and everything looks and feels great so far.Will definitely be back and again, Brelan was great to work with. Would recommend.
I had an appointment Nov 12 at 815 for concerns with my vehicle that occurred over the weekend. My vehicle was not looked at until two days later then I received a voice mail with a list of issues that would cost three grand. I drove my vehicle there, but a young lady got in my vehicle to move it towards the service area. She gets and says, is there a reason why it will not start? The service guy Mike, ask me had this happen before? I say, no. Im seated in the waiting area, I come out and my car is moved. Im told, it had to be pushed. I received another call stating my battery is dead and I need a new one and it will cost $200.00. I have never paid that much for a battery. 50.00 of it is to install.I tell Mike, I will pick up my vehicle and no to the repairs, but Im billed over 300 for a diagnostic and I have had a rental for 4 days also. I pick up my car. Waiting for a while, was told they have to look for it and it had a flat. Really? With a dead battery, Im wondering how it will be moved. Well, it was driven. I was prepared to call AAA to tow it. I drove to NAPA to have my battery tested. Nothing wrong with it.A customer who has their vehicle worked on for recalls or pays for bogus repairs, their vehicle is brought to them inside the service building. A customer who doesnt pay for bogus repairs has to go outside to get their vehicle.I inspected my vehicle. The front seat has smeared oil or grease stains. They didnt use any type of paper protection. There was oily hand prints smeared on the back at both corners. My car is white, so this was very noticeable. I had washed my car the day before, so I knew it was clean when I took it in. So, Im out money for the diagnostic and rental, which neither was cheap.The rental was a new 2020 Im sure they were hoping I would like and purchase as the reason of the delay of attention my vehicle didnt receive. I will not buy another vehicle from place nor take my vehicle back to this location. They are a RIP off. Trying to recoup money they lost during the strike.

I had an appointment for my car yesterday at 8:15a. An appointment NOT a walk in for Jake Sweeney Chevrolet in Cincinnati OH. I have received that absolute worst customer service. My car has not even been looked at or have been assigned a technician and it has been a day and a half. I have made multiple efforts to contact the dealer via facebook on numerous occasions, as well as emails for which I have not gotten a response from a the dealer. My husband has been calling and getting the run around. He physically took the car in and they dropped him off at work and didnt even call him back to let him know the car wouldnt be ready. Well the dealer was closed and he didnt have a ride back so we had to come out of pocket for that. This is absurd especially when I scheduled AN APPOINTMENT a week in advance to have my break system looked at. This is unacceptable. I was hesitant to even take my car here in the first place with the bad google reviews Ive read. In addition to that the first time I went there I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable which is why I made my husband drop off the car in the first place! They literally harassed me about buying a car profusely when I kept telling them no I was just there for an oil change. They clearly just wanted my money. I literally take my car almost 30 minutes from my house to get my car looked at to avoid this dealership all together. Unfortunately the Chevrolet dealer in Milford is too far away to provide shuttle service to my job. Bottomline. UNACCEPTABLE! On my way now to pick up my car and take it somewhere else. Took my car over to Columbia Chevrolet, they got my car in same day, found a warranty that I didn’t even know I had on the car, gave me a rental car and took good care of me so I guess it all worked out!

We had to come to Ohio from North Carolina to help a relative in the hospital in Cincinnati. Our cousin came from Pennsylvania and she started having troubles with her SUV. She called Jake Sweeneys and and talked to a super nice man who told her to bring her car in and theyd take a look at it. Within 3 hours they had her car running great and it cost $100 leas than their original quote! They also made her aware of another issue she could take care of when she got back home.We all highly recommend Jake Sweeney Chevrolet! If we could give 10 stars we would!

Do not deal with Jake sweeny these guys are rip offs I purchased a 2014 jeep Cherokee that broke down less than 90 days after I got it .I took the car in for service and they over charged me They tell you they will give you a life time power train warranty which is only good if you have all of your work done at Jake sweeny in which this is where they over charge you for ANY services you recieve even for minor services you will be way over charged This place is a hoax I went in to speak with the the service manager who isnt worth the button down shirt he had on his back .. He tried to feed me more BS about why I was over charge for a minor job. He didnt give 1 care in the world..sat there with his hands folded. I will NEVER come back to this place again and if your smart you wont either .. I regret purchasing a car from here . They sold me a warranty that cost 2500 then gave me their power train warranty that basically knocks out the 1 I paid for I basically left with 2 powertrain warranties that went against eachother Jake sweeny is a joke

I have purchased two automobiles (70K) from the Jake Sweeney Auto group, yet when I needed service on a recall issue Jake Sweeney indicated they fixed before, I was asked to pay $98.00 for the inspection and $647.00 for the design flawed item under recall. After consulting with Saturn Customer Service in Michigan, I was awarded one hour of review time to have the issue reviewed by another dealer in Florence, Ky. Where I had to pay $98 for the review @ Jake Sweeney, the new dealer fixed my problem free of charge. Its important to shop around. While I purchased the Saturn at the former Jake Sweeney Saturn in Florence Ky. It was the other Tom Gill Chevrolet that corrected my problem without and further discussions. I will chalk the review fees off as lesson learned, which in this case pays premiums and unfortunately Jake Sweeney Auto Group just lost a neighborly customer. 5/30/2019 still no reply after I returned the call as requested from Jake Sweeney Chevrolet Service Dept. 10/7/2019 I finally figured out my problem after the service airbag light started up again and would not go out. The electrical tape on the wiring harness loosens with heat and does not provide the proper holding power to keep the connection solid. I placed some Gorilla duct tape OVER TOP of the electrical tape, made sure it was tight. Fixed the problem immediately. The service airbag light is gone. Simple solution to a 9 year old problem. I made the call to Jake Sweeney as requested below and no one ever returned my call. Not a good situation.

Told me to they had to run my credit to give me a monthly pymt, even though they knew they couldn’t get the car into my price range. Then ran my credit 5 times! Be aware and NEVER give them your SSN until you decide to buy the car! Finance manager is a snake!
I scheduled an appointment two days in advance, with the service Department to drop my car off for what I thought was a recall. It had turned out that my car was not part of the recall. However It was stated to me, that my issue could be covered under my existing warranty. In order for them to verify that I needed to agree to be charged 116 dollar for them to check. This was at 7:45 AM. Went to work. The whole day I did not hear a peep about my car, despite calling in 6 times to find out. I got off work at 5 PM, went over there to find out about my car, they had not looked at it yet. The center closes at 6. They non-nonchalantly said they may not know until tomorrow. I asked if they had a loner since they were going to keep my car. He sent me to this other desk, and it turned out they were going to rent me a vehicle for 25 dollars a day. This service department has a flawed system, the people that work there are use to giving bad service because they are unsympathetic when you express concern. Money at the expense of customer service is their priority.
Service department sucks. There is a lack of communication an the techs need more experience. Also my car has had multiple issues since it was purchased, had to have a complete air conditioning system replacement . I had to diagnose a bad CV axle with the service manager. They dome keep there word on free oil changes. Very disappointed with there customer service turn my mother away with my car, after telling me I had a coplametory oil change when I scheduled the appointment.

This dealer ship is the biggest joke I have ever been too. I called multiple times 2 days in a row to make sure a used Jeep Wrangler was still there that I scheduled a test drive for. I warned them that I was driving from 2 hours away to purchase this vehicle. I talked to multiple sales reps and the BDC customer service department to make sure they updated me if anyone was test driving it or if it had sold due to I was driving from 2 hours away. On my 2 hour trip to the dealership I called them twice to verify that the Jeep was not sold yet and that no one was looking at it. When I arrived coincidentally the Jeep had already been test drove, they other customer had filled out a credit application, the bank had ran numbers, and the paper work was already drawn up and signed for and I know this didnt only take 30 minutes to do. I specifically told multiple people at this dealership that I only wanted this blue Jeep Wrangler. The lack of communication here from dealership to dealership is absolutely ridiculous. Out of 10 calls I made to them in a 2 day time frame please tell me how my name was not even entered into the system for the test drive that I literally schedule twice and have confirmation emails and texts. This place is seriously the biggest joke of a dealership I have ever been to no one knows whats going on there. WORST experience and dealership Ive ever been to. Not to mention, after I arrived and was told in person that it was sold I explained my situation and how I drove for 2 hours to buy this vehicle and they did not compensate me or offer me anything at all. A big sorry I hope we can earn your business at a later date, and I hope you have a change of heart. DO NOT GO HERE, Crooked salesman, awful customer service, lack of communication, just awful dealership in general.
Rudest dealership I have ever went to. The experience there was by far the worst. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Thelma Jones is the meanest and rudest person I have ever had the unpleasure of meeting . She made me feel so unwanted and like she wouldnt want my business (after traveling over 45 minutes away from my house after being told I was pre approved). She kept interrupting me and being so rude. Wouldnt even listen to a word I had to say then she has the decency to say, I hope to see you back in 6 months. I will never be returning here again. Seriously if you are thinking to buy a car do not go here it will be a waste of your time, money, and gas.

Terrible service, they made me wait 3 hours for a freaking oil change and didnt even explain why. On top of that, they also couldnt find my car so they were also looking for it by the end of the 3 hours. Turns out it was parked and left randomly outside the place in a weird area.
