After trying to strip the old paint off of my vents, I decided to take them to Bradford Powder Coating for sandblasting and powder coating. It was the best idea because they came out awesome!! They are like new!! I will definitely use them again!!

Searched and asked around for a good place to powder coat rims. I was recommended this place by a friend of mine. Called and and spoke to Mike. Just from the phone call alone, Mike was very easy to talk to. He told me what to expect and even recommended me the best color to go with for my wheels. Dropped off the wheels on a Thursday and the wheels were ready by Wednesday the next week. Mike made my experience a really good one and I would def. come back here for other future projects.

I had searched a few years ago for a powder coating place to have some wheels redone. Bradford came up as one of the top shops and at a good price. I ended up selling that vehicle so I never had the work done, but fast forward to today, and I have another set of wheels that I want powder coated. I reached out to Raphael at Bradford and he was very informative and again, offered a great price. They partner with a local tire shop (Wheel Depot - who was awesome as well) to dismount the tires, then the wheels are shuttled over to Bradford and then redelivered at the end of the day for mounting/balancing.Here’s the thing, I live in Los Angeles. I drove over two hours to come down to Bradford, and it was worth every minute on the freeway! Not only did they get the curb rash out (to the point I can’t even tell which wheel it was on) but most importantly the powder coat finish was amazing. Rafael was very patient and answered all my questions.I couldn’t be happier with the work Bradford did. As a bonus they offer free touchups. If you’re looking for a place, whether local San Diego or even in Los Angeles, you can’t go wrong with these guys. It’s absolutely worth the drive.

I researched many powder coating shops before deciding to go with Mike at Bradford Powder Coating. Mike took the time to explain the process in detail, and answer all my questions. He took special care of my wheels which needed to be masked off in specific areas. The entire powder coating process was completed in one day. This involved dropping the vehicle off at a nearby wheel shop (who were also great) where they kept the vehicle until the wheels returned from Bradford later in the day. Everything was seamless and everybody involved was friendly and professional. I cant express how happy I am with the final product. If you need powder coating in San Diego, this place is a sure bet. Absolutely incredible service! Mike was very accommodating to my busy schedule and kept me updated with pictures on every step of the coating process. The factory wheels on my car were 5 years old and all scratched up and after the powder coat they look brand new. I just had these guys coat the wheels for my bike as well as a few other small parts. They did a great job, were ready exactly when promised, and were very communicative throughout the entire process. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are s little more expensive compared to some other shops but it is worth every penny. I have tried almost every shop i San Diego, these guys are the best by far. The shop is clean and organized and they are very professional.

First off, Rafael is the best! I went in not knowing much about powder coating car wheels and the team at Bradford patiently answered questions and helped me make the best choices.Rafael talked to me about color options and made great recommendations to have the cars come out looking sharp. I went with the semi-gloss black and do not have any regrets.Also, the partnership with Wheel Depot is very smooth. Jesus and Alex, the Bradford coating contacts over there, are kind, professional, and take fantastic care of your car through the process.It is hard to find a place that can powder coat wheels same day. Typically the process to coat wheels takes 3-5 days, even though the process of sandblasting, spaying, and baking can be done in hours. Bradford does same day powder coating and offers the best quality and service you will find in San Diego. I highly recommend their work and the expertise of their team!

I have powder coated 3 sets of wheels on 3 different vehicles. This is my first time using Bradford Powder Coating. Mike (the owner) has the only company that will allow you to drop off your vehicle and later that day, pick it up; wheels completed. There is no Humpty Dumpty system here of separating the tires from the rims, before taking them to the shop, then putting them back together. He has a one-stop shop system (just need to drop the car off at a tire shop about a mile down the road, at the Wheel Depot). No other company in San Diego can offer this, PLUS his aggresive prices are UNBEATABLE. The work is PHENOMENAL. He sends pics of your wheels after they have been sandblasted, and then once completed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Mike, from Bradford Powdercoating, is a dream to work with. Very friendly, respectful, and extremely helpful. He really bent over backwards helping me with an unusual custom job I asked him to do. Best of all, the quality of the work is EXCELLENT. I had a set of rims done in semi-gloss black, and they look just amazing, he also erased some minor surface scratching on the wheels also.

I got tired of the factory AMG wheels on my mercedes SL400, so i had the bradford folks powder coat them glossy black and they did a FABULOUS job at a great price!

Had my rims powder coated gloss black and in less than a month noticed gloss faded looked dull. After 3 months had the chance to go there spoke with Mike to see if he would resolve issue, and he recommended I apply a compound to bring out the gloss and not to use car wash brushes. Did all that but no gloss. After a few weeks went back spoke with Mike and he refutes the blame on me abusing the rims with car wash chemicals that faded gloss (what chemicals), and that using car wash brushes sand away gloss, which I stopped using before the first time I went with him with my concern. I strongly believe my rims were painted by him because the inner back part of the rims are bare metal not like the many Ive seen on YouTube and instagram that show the entire rim covered and he even took me to the back to show me some rims that were completely covered. Many claim thats what happens to rims that are painted. He didnt offer a remedy nor a discount to redo them nor does he even offer a warranty because he knows his work is not guaranteed to last and will adamantly blame the client for rim abuse. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Schedule a date time to drive to LA were they may take 2-3 days for the process with a warranty well worth it or another place in SD that guarantees and offers a warranty. Avoid the initial fake service because the moment you go back with a concern youll save yourself the trouble from his rebuttals, spins, and deflections youre the cause. Hes a rip off spend your money credit elsewhere. Been to other places here in SD and they also confirmed mine were painted. How else would the rims look dull and easily scratched. It aint chemicals nor the car wash brushes he blames you for its his workmanship. Im getting mine redone more to come. As I mentioned above about him, read below his rebuttal how he scolds one hes always right. Well he could have called me instead be professional offer solution and not lie to obtain your business. Then, I would delete negative post.

Went and took my Mk7 Austin rims after work on a Wednesday to get quoted for a gloss black coating and Mike from Bradford took care of me fast and had my rims done by Friday afternoon these dudes are legit and have quality work and this is coming from a painter lol definitely check them out Powder coating> Plastic dip any day

If you are looking for a top-notch, high quality powder coat job, look no further, these guys are the real-deal! I had another shop here in SD powder coat my wheels last year and within a few months my wheels had close to 10 chips down to the metal. Long story short, that shop didnt stand behind their work, nor do it correctly (didnt sandblast the wheel after acid dipping to remove the factory paint/powder coat and used the cheapest powder coat product possible) and wasnt going to fix the problem so I went and visited Bradford. From the moment I spoke with Rafael (manager) I knew I was at the right place. After closely examining the wheels, he told me the powder coat job I had was sub-par and would continue to chip. He then gave me a tour of their factory and showed me a few examples of very high end wheels they were powder coating for other clients. I decided to have them redo my wheels, and I couldn’t be happier. The end result of the powder coat is excellent and he made it clear they stand behind their work. I would highly recommend using Bradford Power Coating!

Visiting this place was the best thing I could’ve ever done. Mike and his guys were so helpful and very professional. Originally I went there to take a look at their portfolio to see the quality of work they’ve already completed because it was important that I chose the right color for my Brembo brake kit. I was set on the color gold when I first walked in but Mike definitely showed me the light when he suggested illusion red and said how much better it would look against the color of my car, then he showed me photos of a Jeep that had some parts on it that they had coated in illusion red and I was hooked. They took my brake kit and was meticulous about completing the job correctly and man did they deliver. I just recently got the brake kit installed on my car and every five minutes I get other people and drivers on the road commenting on the color and how well it pops against the blue of my car. This is definitely the go to powder coat shop. I’m definitely gonna go back and have some other parts and maybe future items done by them because I know they’re going to get the job done right with great quality and awesome service.

Got some wheels powder coated here once. Dealt with Mike and he assisted me along the way. I was wearing a military T-shirt which he complimented on and also gave me a military discount.Every lil bit helps when youre a community that helps one another.Wheels turned out great! Will do business with Mike again.*Revision*A couple months later I referred a friend and also went along to drop off another set of wheels to be powder coated.We did not have the same success when dealing with Rafael. I told him how much I paid when I dealt with Mike and he goffed, rolled his eyes, and asked and me for a receipt for proof.I showed him picture proof and my positive review on yelp.So that was my reason for a 4 star review... Bradford Powder Coating was a one stop shop for my Mustang wheels. I went to other powder coating shops and none offered the conveniences of Bradford. Other shops want you to bring wheels in order to powder coat them. With Bradford they work with A local wheel shop called Wheel Depot, you take your wheels over to Wheel Depot and your done. Bradford and Wheel Depot work together with taking wheels off, powder coat, delivery and installation once wheels are done all in the same day. Wheels look amazing and very happy with their service. If your looking to make your car look better at an affordable price I strongly recommend powder coating your wheels with Bradford. Customer service was excellent. Ask for Mike or Rafa. True professionals and really know their stuff.

I have a bike that badly needed a paint job. I used to race this unusual machine and it was time to get back on the road. I looked long and hard for place to either re-paint my bike. I settled on Bradford Power Coating and I never regretted my choice. Mike was fantastic and worked with me on price, color, schedule and every technical aspect of powder coating a racing bike. His attention to detail and metal prep work was second to none. He kept me apprised at every stage and I am very pleased with the outcome. Saw some reviews online and decided to give these folks a chance. Called the shop on Sunday even though they were closed to leave a message on voicemail. I received a call a minute later from Mike who gave me details and a great price to powder coat my wheels. We set a time to meet a few days later during normal business hours. I drove by the shop and met Raf who showed me the colors that were in stock as discussed with Mike. I picked a color and proceeded to the Wheel Depot who does the removing of the tire from the wheels. I left and awaited the call from Raf to pickup my car. The process takes the entire day and I was willing to wait for quality work. While waiting Raf sent picks of the wheels mid process, which assured me the work was being done. When I picked up the car I was amazed at how incredible the wheels looked. Thank you gentlemen for the work. Highly recommended if you need something powder coated!

I had my wheels powder coated at Bradford. The finish was perfect but it was darker than I expected. Mike was terrific at working with me to do additional samples and a promised to do the job again at a discounted cost. He sincerely wanted me to be satisfied. Ultimately I came to like the original color. You cant beat this service. It was done in one day and included the removal and re-installation of my wheels. Im very happy.

Wow... just wow. Everything about this shop went above and beyond expectations. I brought in my te37 ultra wheels for my GT-R and let me be honest with you... it turned out magnificent! I just cant get over how good they look! The process was prompt any the quality remained fully intact.Mike and Raphael are so great! They go over every single detail of the process. Your happiness is their number 1 priority and it shows. I can tell this will be a long lasting friendship.Whats also great is that they work directly with Wheel Depot (another amazing shop) to mount tires and program your tpms. You dont have to worry about them ruining your freshly powder coated wheels because they work directly with Bradford Powder Coating! They know what theyre doing!Getting the exact wheels that Ive dreamt about for so long finally came true and these guys helped me make it happen!

My experience was great. Crashed my harley needed 10-12 parts Powder coated. Were chrome was not familiar took time to break it all down Wanted a gloss black which most came out perfect.Had problems with the finish of a couple of pieces which were taken care and came out really nice.Happy with these guys will be going back to finish bike. Have sent my friends there way. Fair pricing also.

There is really nothing I can say about Bradfords that would describe how amazing they are but I will give it a shot. I bought some WCI wheels and had them special ordered with a gold finish. Once I got them in the mail and got the tires mounted on them I noticed that the finish was awful and was already peeling off the wheels. Now I can say that I am glad that happened because it brought me over to Bradfords. I explained the situation to Mike and he was extremely helpful with everything. They had a 1 day turn around on my wheels and they looked beyond fantastic. I have since been back for curb rash repairs and they have even helped me out with that. Mike told me that once I because a customer I was like family and I sure feel that way after the treatment I have gotten from them. I would advice anyone who is looking for quality work that is very affordable and wants excellent service on top of that to look no further than Bradfords.

I originally chose Bradford Powder Coating because the excellent reviews and they were one of the closest shops to me at the time. Upon arival, I was welcomed into the shop and shown the difference between having a clear coat and not, and explained the benefits vs cost. After making a selection of color (red barron) and clear coat, we discussed numbers. Although, the price was more than I was hoping to spend, it was within my budget. A couple days later, I got the call that my parts were ready, and they looked so much better than I could have imagined. A big thanks to the fellas and the boss! A real pleasure to work with and if im in the area again, this will be the shop I go to for all my powder coating needs!
