When my daughter first started with this office with Ms. Patrick, I was so happy and grateful for the service and help regarding my daughter. Miss Patrick is an amazing woman who deeply cares for her clients and made an honest and outright effort to help me and my daughter to the best of her ability even with my daughter being essentially nonverbal. After Ms Patrick had to resign her position, my daughter started with a different therapist. I have never been so dissatisfied by someone who claims to be a mental health professional. Little to no effort on doing anything aside from giving me advice on how I can help my daughters behavior in a time where I need to make sure that she is monitored and her mental health is doing better during her parents divorce, regardless of me stating that there was a court order for there to be mutual grounds and understanding and communication between myself, the therapist,and my ex-husband regarding my daughters mental well-being, there has been none. I have been continually led on and left in the dark for the last several months to the point to where I thought that she had been discharged from the services and was no longer a patient, I have called the office and spoken to a few people about my situation and my distress at the blatant disregard. And I have yet to hear back from anyone at all. Extremely dissatisfied at the service.

It’s usually necessary to try more than one counselor to find someone you’re compatible with. When I requested a new counselor, they told me they’d get back with me in a week. Three weeks go by and I don’t hear a word, so I call them and they assure me that it’ll just be another week. Two more weeks go by and I call them again, and am told it’ll be sometime after the following Monday. At this point, I completely lost faith. I went without needed therapy for over six weeks, just waiting for them to assign me another counselor (something they do once a week at their meeting). The secretaries in the Pocatello office are also so rude, and put me on hold while I’m talking and without saying, “Please hold.”

Excellent place to grow. My 8 year old girl goes here and Kailin gives her tangible things to work on. She listens and really gives us tools to work with. Our daughter has improved so much! She also qualified for Medicaid services Through her conduct disorder and we don’t have to pay anything. Otherwise based off of our income we wouldn’t have qualified for Medicaid. She is getting the help she needs! I highly recommend you be open minded and willing to grow.

I had a hard time here, because they didn’t diagnose my right. They put me on meds that were counterproductive, and wouldn’t listen when I asked to come off of my meds. On numerous occasions, I would call their office sobbing and ask for an extra session with my counselor. I should be able to have open communication with my mental health professionals, and this office does not provide it.

Excellent staff and service. I have been with them for about four years and have been helped tremendously. The owner of the establishment is very professional and accommodating.

Where do I start? In the past two months they have cancelled 6 weekly counseling sessions for my son. They just called to cancel tomorrows session due to the counselor being on vacation. Really? You didnt know about this vacation earlier? Two and three weeks ago the excuse was training with only a days notice as well. It appears they are making up lies to not keep appointments. There is never anyone to fill in when they cancel either. Another problem they recently came up with is that it is now mandatory every three months to reevaluate with an appointment that I have to take time off work and also make sure my son is at because they dont have later appointment slots. The duration of this appointment is an hour and a half. These are just a couple of the issues Ive had. Dont use them!!!

Came here as a kid for am evaluation and again as am adult. Very open and friendly staff with a great, colorful, waiting room with entertainment for most ages. Very flexible with schedules.

Ive got almost two decades of experience with the industry, but Ive never had an agency ignoring the protocols of the DSM and using their own pride and ego to judge someone. At least not to the degree of the guy I worked with here. One of the ladies I worked with here was nice, but it couldnt undo the way the one guy treated me. It did more damage. I recommend another agency.

It seems like every aspect of this counseling center let us down. My first appointment with the owner was a let down. He showed up ten to fifteen minutes late and came in talking on his phone, then sat in his office for 5 minutes on the phone while I was suppose to be with him. He also told me that they wouldn’t place my wife and I with the same counselor that I had because their could be a perceived bias. So of course we got assigned to the same counselor that was my private counselor. After we discontinued our appointments with mental health specialists they kept my appointments on the calendar so I kept getting calls and reminders for appointments that I had canceled more than a week out. Then also their billing department took over a week to get back to me after I called them about 3 times. For one copay of 20$ that I couldn’t pay for because their system was down. Their billing dept did waive that one but it was still a hastle. I would look elsewhere for counseling services.

First few months were terrible trying to establish with anybody. Improving as time goes on with present counselor.

Don’t come here if you need help, they’re just money grubbers. My brother car here today for evaluation and change of his medication after being in crisis for a while and a few suicide attempts. They did the evaluation but failed to mention until after the evaluation, and taking $140 from him, that their psychologist left last week and they are unable to give him a prescription. He paid $140 to be told to call his original prescriber, who is out of state, to see if they will change his prescription. Thanks for nothing. Mental health in our country is a huge problem and this place is a direct contributor. If you need actual help right now, are experiencing a mental health crisis, don’t go here. They only care about your money.
