Excellent service. My wife and I have been very pleased with the work they have performed. My first experience was when they replaced a muffler about 18 years ago and have continued to use their service.Eighteen years ago. I selected Unit Muffler over the national chain because Unit Muffler welds the exhaust pipes instead of using clamps.

Nice people, Covid-conscious management, fixed my truck properly and on time, did some extra work but cost less than estimate.

My wife and I have been loyal customers of United Muffler for ten years. They have always provided us with wonderful service at a great price in a timely fashion. They have performed various levels of automotive maintenance such as new tires, state inspection, timing belt replacement, and muffler replacement during this timeframe. I highly recommend them.

How does it take 3 days to get an inspection done? What do they think people are supposed to do without a car? I have gone here 3 times and they are either rude or slow. I thought i was helping a local business but I will now be going to shelor for inspections.

Great Service! Competitive prices and honest! Have had them perform multiple services on my vehicles over the past few years. Most recently had them replace tires on our minivan. I shopped around and their out-the-door price was the best I found. Read further to find out why they also now do all of my vehicle inspections.I have been to other places in the area where every time I got an inspection, they found something which was going to cost hundreds of dollars to fix. One of these findings was an exhaust leak and they wouldnt pass the vehicle, stating a portion of the exhaust system needed to be replaced. I promptly took the vehicle to United Muffler and they found it was just a loose Oxygen sensor. Tightened it up, no charge, and my vehicle passed. Saved me several hundred dollars.

Got me in quickly, were friendly and fast. Fixed it correctly first time and at a reasonable price.

I needed some exhaust work done on my car, they handled everything very quickly, in a transparent way, and it was very affordable. I definitely felt like they knew what they were doing and that they could be trusted. Plus there is some interesting artwork in the waiting area. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

I had two vehicles inspected here. One “required” $300+ in repairs to pass inspection and the other $400+. I definitely felt as though they were looking for things to make money on. I also brought one of the cars for diagnostics on an electrical issue. I got an answer that included spending a lot of money for what might or might not be the problem. Took the car for a second opinion and not only got a completely different diagnosis, but they referred me to another shop who could actually make the complicated repair. The second shop is obviously the kind you want; United Muffler is not.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in for a simple oil change, which later required me to tow my car to a mechanic because it simply would not run. It turned out that the filter and gasket were not installed properly, causing oil to leak out. Id recommend never taking your car anywhere near this place.

A colleague of mine recommended this shop after my truck failed inspection and needed the muffler replaced. Bill worked on my muffler an did an excellent job. The work was fast and the price for the parts and labor were also excellent. I will be recommending this shop to my friends, and I will return here if I need further exhaust work.

Stay far far far away!!! I took my car in to have it fixed because I was getting an error reading of a misfire 4, which is usually a spark plug, but I had this car fixed about a month ago. The mechanic I had taken it to before installed coil packs because the car needed them. A couple days later it was back to doing the same problem so I took it to United Mufflers because I have had good experiences with them in the past. I guess things have changed over the years. They said I definitely needed spark plugs, so I let them replace them only to tell me that didnt fix the solution and with the mileage the car has it was probably an engine. A few days later I start the car and white smoke is coming out the tail pipe and some smoke from the engine. The car is 100 times worse now than before. Crooks!!! If you are a minority or a woman watch out because I think that they think we are stupid and no nothing about cars. The only stupid thing I did was take my car to United Mufflers, but it will never happen again and Ill do what I can to make sure nobody else I know takes a car there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. I have countless bad things to say about this place. Especially dont take your business here if youre a college student trying to get a car inspection. They will try to rip you off because they feel like they can get away with it. Thought they could get away with charging me 500$ to get new brakes when it would normally cost half of that or less (I found another place that could do it for 130$). They wouldnt let me sit in the car while getting it inspected, which is super sketchy. Then on top of that, part of the reason they failed my vehicle was because it needed an oil change (Ok, but you cant fail a car for needing an oil change). They told me Id need to remove my parking sticker for my apartment which is total BS. ALSO, they have a sign in their store openly bashing millennials. Yeah, Im calling you out United Muffler Of Christiansburg! Stay away from this shady joint at all possible costs. Seriously disappointed with my service, would give it 0 stars if I could.

Terrible. If I could give it zero stars I would. Went for oil change and to get my exhaust welded back on, however; they broke my key switch and charged me an extra 650 dollars to fix it. Please take your business elsewhere.
