I recently moved to Buena Park, CA from Chowchilla CA. My brother tried to get a new EBT card under my name pretending to be me, so they canceled my card. Which first of all, makes no sense, because if he couldnt prove he was Raul Garcia I dont see why cancel it. However, when I called the Chowchilla office Mrs. Rodriguez said she couldnt send my card out to where Im at. To protect me from my brother. Yet even after I offered to go into my local social services office to prove my identity so that they can verify it for me she said NO. Simply because SHE couldnt verify my identity. Now thats horrible teamwork and lack of trust amongst themselves. I am very displeased that shes gonna make me catch a train back for 6hrs just to get my EBT card to finally get something to eat out here idk if I can even afford to honestly .
