In that time weve had three different agents: after the first agent passed away, his clients (us included) were transferred to another agent. Weve never believed it before that each agent somehow can give us different rates... until we got to the 2nd agent. While it shouldnt be the case, I think it has to do how knowledge the agents and their employees are. That prompted us to ask around for a cheaper state farm agent and we were introduced to Kristi Kim, our third and current agent with State Farm. So thats one reason to go with Kristi Kim at State Farm.Another reason to go with Kristi Kim at State Farm is Patti Medina, one of the employees. Shes super friendly, helpful, efficient, and generally and all around awesome!! While Ive never met any of them in person, Patti is one person I truly want to meet because shes such a wonderful person. Being a wonderful person isnt the only reason that makes her an awesome person. She also saves you money by proactively finding out what coverage you can get without you even asking. For example, I can ask her to quote me a car for a certain amount of coverage but she will also give me other options for similar price without me asking. She doesnt have to do all that since Im already a client there. Shes not going to earn a whole lot of commission for upgrading my property damage coverage from $25,000 to $50,000 for just 16 cents more than what I was paying. BUT I wouldnt have known that I can get $25,000 more in coverage just for 16 cents if she hadnt looked to begin with! And with my non existent knowledge of insurance, I wouldnt have known to ask anyways.Bottom line:if you want to save money upfront with good but inexpensive insurance, go with Kristi Kim at State Farm.If you want to save money in the long run with good coverage for when you do get into accidents, go with Kristi Kim at State Farm.If you just want to save money period, go with Kristi Kim at State Farm.
