We are traveling cross country in our new to us 2019 RV purchased from a dealer just a few months ago. As newbies, we had the dealer complete a pm with oil and filter change on the Cummins generator. Everything is planned out, park stays, boondocking, even our daily miles! Yeah for us first timers! Oh...the generator would not stay on while so it was getting hot inside. Then it was our boondock night in Ohio, end of June, and no generator to run the A/C or water pump!! Oh my, what a hot evening! After searching on our phones for hours to find a repair place, appointments 2-3 days out, we asked to check into our camp site at Scioto State Park early and fortunately it was available! Yeah, electricity!!! I explained our situation to Kim at the campground and she picked up her phone to find Trego Creek Truck & Auto Repair. She even called them for me but, she had to leave a message as they must have and scheduled same day service AT THE CAMPGROUND!! Bill arrived within the next two hours and after looking at the gen we ator said it was low on oil!! He has been workjng on Cummins for over 20 years and shggested what our dealer taught us was only half right! Thank you Bill! You taught alot and took care of us like family.been busy.
