EVERY TIME I am in this store an undercover security guard follows me around. I have NEVER in my life stolen something from any store. It is so blatantly obvious. How many times can someone be behind you in the checkout line with absolutely nothing in their hands to purchase at all. I have offered for him to go first (please note this has happened on more than one occasion). Then as Iam checking out this man is right behind me watching everything I put on the counter so close near my back it was noticeable to me. He also follows me around the store not having anything in any isle sp I mess with him and go from one end of the store to another but I am getting really sick of it. Next time I am calling my attorney and the news. All other employees are friendly and I have no complaints about the store, but this security guard needs to focus on the real thieves.

This store has gotten so expensive and the customer service is mediocre in some locations. I only go there if absolutely have to get something that only they carry. Its not too of my list.

Its clean and well stocked every time I go in there. I like that the cashier greets you when you walk in the door.

Its a dollar store but not everything is one dollar.Meh.You can get stuff here that other dollar stores dont have. Toys, toiletries, snacks, etc. Lots of stuff at bargain prices.

Had so much fun with the kids... but was unaware of the early closing time which ended our night without even finishing a single round! Pandemic strikes again! Lol! Prices were reasonably comparable to the event. 2 adults, 2 kids, 4 sets of rental shoes, and 1 round cost 36$

I found items I needed, that I was planning to purchase at another store, and they were less expensive! I also found that they carried items in my size. What I didnt like was the fact that the stores WiFi wasnt working, &/or was working at a snails pace! Coupons wouldnt come up when items were scanned, items with different colored dots were mixed in with the discount dots, and closely hued. If you dont check your receipt before you leave, youll probably wont notice until youre home! It you do notice that you werent credited your savings, you either have to get back in line, hold up the line, &/or wait for a manager to come see and correct the problem. This has happened to me on more than one occasion, and the main reason why I dont shop there often! Problems like the ones Ive mentioned take all the fun out of getting something at a reduced price! Ill leave my comment at that!

Always get what I need and sometimes something I didnt know that I wanted .

We waited in line for a bit only one cashier everything else was fine oh I couldnt find Pumpkin Pie filling only the evaporated milk for it.

This store has gotten worse in recent months. Stopped going due to how filthy the store was and the shelves are always a complete mess. While the employees are very polite, it’s very frustrating that they spend way too much time outside smoking or hanging out & chatting with each other in the front office while ONE employee has to deal with a LONG LINE of angry customers. There is a long line every single time I go, so now I go to the South Hadley or Granby store, MUCH BETTER customer service there.

I go here for my dog! Get his treats and toys here. Occasionally I go to buy personal items for myself like toothpaste, toothbrushes and soap. They have great deals and prices on almost everything!

Very clean store, kind workers very curtious and helpful as well love this store shop here often. They also have fair low way cheaper here for sum items then anywhere else including online.

I went into the Dollar General in Chicopee MA and I was shocked when I walk into that location. I saw that all their products were not unpacked on the shelf. There were so many empty spaces and there were a lot of random stuff around the store. I wanted to use the bathroom and I needed to get a key from the cashier. I went to unlock the bathroom door and then the key was only for the ladies room.I went back to the cashier and ask her for the mens room key and she said that they only had one bathroom. (Although they had a sign saying mens room) So I went back to use the bathroom. When I unlock the bathroom there was toilet paper all over the seat and floor of the bathroom. The bathroom smelt very bad like no one had cleaned it for at least a couple of days. Dollar general seems like a business that was starting to expand; however, with such a unclean environment I am afraid they will just scare their customers away. I am very displeased of my experience at that location :(

This is my go to store in chicopee. The employees are so nicer and helpful. I only hope it gets a make over like the south Hadley one did. I like it better but wont leave great service.

Had great experience up til recently. Theyve been sold out of spring water for the last couple weeks. I also bought a box of moldy sausage patties from their freezer isle and returned it only to be given another box of moldy sausage patties instead of a refund. Stay away

Love this store. Was happy to know there was one here. In Florida that was my Go To store they have Everything for your home in a small store. No need for Big expensive store in the Malls when D G in the neighborhood.
