If I could rate this experience with less than one star, I would. I took my 1.9 yr old Toro lawn mower to Home Depot for what I thought would be a warranty repair, which I was told would take 2 weeks. Three and a half weeks later, and after a charge of $44, the machine was returned to me. I was informed that all they did was rinse the blades. Because they had the mower so long, I had to rent one (from Taylor Rental) ... so in effect rinsing my lawn mower cost $70.There are so many ways to avoid this terrible treatment of customers... hire more help in the summer, review repair needs and let the customer decide whether to have another company perform the work, or allow customers to check in online to get a realistic estimate of the wait time. Needless to say, I wouldnt benefit from these improvements because I wont be taking my business to Home Depot for awhile. A very long while.
