They transformed our kitchen and our fireplace. From a distance it looks great, but up close you can see all the poor finishes. The seems of the backsplash were filled with putty instead of grout. I asked the installer if it was grout and if it was going to be the same color as the rest and he assured me it was... it’s not and it’s clearly not grout. They over cut in a few places so you can see those in sever places. There about a foot, maybe a little more under one of the cupboards that they didn’t finish with the caulking like the rest. Next to the stove, the “granite” has burn marks as though the stove it too hot and catching it on fire. Apparently, you can’t use Lysol wipes on it because now there is a rough spot about 6”x12” that also lost its color from the Lysol. The strip they used on the fireplace wasn’t measured properly and instead of just covering the previous tile, they also covered an inch of the metal heating insert so now to change out the metal insert, we have to ditch the whole decorative fireplace. It’s been just under a year and it’s definitely not worth the nearly $12,000 we spent on them this go around. We used the Fairfield office in our last house and it turned out amazing. It’s too bad the quality did not stay the same.

We are so very pleased with our granite kitchen counter installation . This is the second home we have used Granite Transformation to update our kitchen. We would highly recommend them to everyone who is considering a kitchen counter remodel. They are always professional, do what they say when they say they will do it! A rare find in today’s industry! We want to give a special 10 stars plus and thank you to the installers Gerardo and Luis for their professional installation job, they both took great care in keeping our home clean while working and did not leave until everything was swept and clean. What a beautiful job they did! Thank you!Excellent results!

Just had our bathroom done. My husband and I did the tear out and then it was up to Granite Transformations to transform my empty shower into a new pan with beautiful walls. Excellent job by all!! Chico encountered electrical outages that put our job off a few days but the results were well worth the wait!!!

Great place to do business; however, their tv commercials SUCK! My wife and I almost break our necks getting to the remote to mute them.

Love the product and customer service. We got our bathroom and kitchen done - they both look fantastic. Was able to use existing faucets but upgraded sinks since they cant be changed easily after counters are installed. Worth the little extra cost to do so. The crew that put in countertops were thorough and neat and kind. Everyone we dealt with at the company were also kind and wanted their customer to be happy and satisfied.

Quick and clean service. We love the look and the fact our kitchen wasnt torn up for days! The look is modern and stylish. We had some items missing from the sink order, but they brought the items promptly in person at no cost to us. They even tried to coordinate drop off with family living in Chico if it was more convenient for us.

I dont understand the bad reviews, as we had a wonderful experience with this company. Granite Transformations hires an amazing sub contractor that put in new cabinets and dressed up our 1950s kitchen that we are so very proud of. The countertop we selected is gorgeous and that work was done professionally and excellently. From the day we met with the folks at the shop, till the completion of the project, we were pleased with the customer service and quality of work.

I tried to get a new cut out put in an existing counter top. They would not do it if they did not install the counter top. Im not sure what difference that makes and the lady did not explain it. I asked if they knew who might help me. She didnt know and suggested that I just spend some time calling around. I also felt like I was really inconveniencing her to ask for help as I did.

Dont use this company, their work is shabby and unacceptable. Let me tell you a story about Granite Transformations of Chico...Sales person, Barbara, is sharp and knows her business, but it all went down hill from there. I was told by not only the sales person but the demonstrator at the home show that yes, I could have the Farm Style sink I had dreamed of in my new kitchen, but when the worker came out to measure for the job, he said no, they have only put in 1 farm style sink and I would need a contractor and a cabinet maker to make my dream of a farm style sink work. My dreams were dashed, so ok, ill settle for a single hole under mount sink instead of the Farmstyle I wanted. In retrospect, we should have backed out then.Day 1 of installation, island piece mounted, was told the rest of the pieces were not ready yet so they would be back after only working 3 hours that first day. Second day of installation, a manufacturing defect was found on the newly installed island, owner was called and it was decided that that piece would be remade and laid directly on top of the previously laid counter. Not acceptable, as we found that the island was not secured around the sink and would surely cause water damage with time. This defect was reported to us and the owner, many many more were hidden and not reported!!! Next, back splash did not match up in the most focal of corners, aprons were broken and scabbed back together, glue or whatever they used to secure the counter top was left in globs. Corners did not match up, pieces were lopsided and of varying heights. Then they proceeded to attempt to replace my stove back to its original space, the worker became sooo frustated that he accused me of lying as to the placement of the stove!! He asked him to leave it alone and we would deal with replacing the stove, when he left it was sitting crooked and the pedestal it was sitting on was broken. I was in tears, what shoud of been a happy experience had turned into a nightmare!! The co-owner, Don, was called, he said the installer had warned him we would be calling. The installer said nothing about all the mismatched corners or lopsided fittings to us, he just wanted to get away from this mess before we had a chance to inspect his work We thought we were giving them space by staying out of the way of the workers. DO NOT DO THIS!! After they left we found 14 different places that needed to be replaced, redone or removed. Don assured us that whatever it took to make this right would be done. Three more visits and a totally different crew would not put this back together in an acceptable way. When we asked if anything else could be done, for example tear it all out and start over, we were told No, this is as good as they could get it. My husband equates this job to paying for a new car and getting a refurbished one. Not exactly what our dream kitchen comprised of. Sorry this is so long, but its a story that needs to be told.

Called for an estimate, The salesman showed up very rude and insulting. Insulted our home and told us in the first 30 seconds that he sells 100,000. A week and doesnt care if we buy or not. We like the material however estimate came in way higher than we thought. Told him wed have to wait a few months he packed his stuff up in a hurry and left. Terrible from start to finish.
