This is by far the best haircut my son has received. We have tried a lot of different places. This will be our new haircut place. The fade and haircut are perfect. The man that did the haircut was so fast but so efficient. I definitely recommend coming here.

Ya about a year and a half ago I came in for a haircut he asked me how I wanted it I told him a fade from a 1 to a 5. He started to cut it and I told him that I want it shorter on the sides and he said ok Im gonna have to charge you an extra 10 bucks since your changing your cut while Im in the process. I said thats fine cause I thought he was just giving me a hard time but nope he was serious I got charged. It was a good haircut but the fact that he charged me for that I wont be coming back for another haircut.

I got a hair cut a few weeks ago, it looked nice. My problem is he cut my forehead not once but four times when lining me up.I’ve been a returning customer, but since then I won’t be returning.

My son Jack loves this barber shop, and that makes me happy. His hair always looks so polished after a visit, they remember him from pre- pandemic, and we were finally able to make it back in October. Great job, clean, friendly, well be back again and again worth driving from 30 min out of town. Thanks

Peter is a great stylist. He listens to what kind of cut you want and follows through. I have a pixie cut and have tried stylist after stylist to find someone who knows what they’re doing with short hair, and have had no luck. Peter is great and I haven’t had an issue with his work at all. Great prices, great service, open every day of the week, and the location is easy to find. Walk-ins are welcome too.

I know Sports Barbershop after the Camp Fire because Peter gave free haircut for evacuees at that time. I also got a fantastic free haircut from him. Since then, I come here every month to cut my hair. Peter vs his barbers always give me a nice treat. Thanks for the great work guys !

This place is great. I moved to Chico recently and had to look for a new barber ( which can be scary when you’ve been going to the same barber for years) but Peter does exactly what I ask for and does a great job. I love to look sharp and feel good about my hair. He does amazing fades and great tapers. I also love the fact that he also knows how to cut with scissors and be a able to do a thin out. Most barbers that can do tappers and fades don’t really know what they’re doing when you ask for a trim and leave it all weird. And also great staff and friendly service . I recommend the massage chair and shampoo, that’s a game changer.

I came in Sports Barbershop very late yesterday about 8pm. Peter almost closed his shop but he still took me. He did a great job on my hair without rushing, and he also charge me regular haircut price with no additional fee like other barbershops. I really recommend this barbershop for everyone in Chico, very nice place to go.

This barbershop just gave me the worst haircut I have ever received in my 24 years of living on this earth. I need to go to another barbershop immediately and get this clown haircut fixed. I tried to show the guy a picture as somewhat of an idea, an then gave him some directions on how to make the haircut different than the picture but he messed up extremely bad and then the guy got defensive when I admitted he did not follow what I asked for..... I suggest going to great clips before going to this place

Peter gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve received in Chico. His attention to detail and precision made for a great cut. Also they offer a hot towel, shampoo and massage after your haircut and it’s totally worth it.

Went here after seeing a Facebook post and I was IMPRESSED! Youre treated like a king from the moment you step in the building.... youre welcomed with a hello and offered a free Soda or beer, the staff quickly learns you name and uses it, lots of sports talk while youre getting your cut... then you move on to a shampoo and head massage that leads to a 10min sit in a full body massage chair and warm face towel.... after that they ask how youre feeling and then style your hair....This isnt just a hair cut its an experience! Ive had my hair cut all over the country and never seen anything close to this.... oh and on top of all the amazing service... the hair cuts are too notch!!!Go Here, Tell your friends, support this business.... Made an appointment over the phone and they were ready for me when I arrived. The older man was great with the straight shave, and my haircut came out tight. Exactly what Im looking for in a barbershop, with multiple sports games on TV while you get serviced.

Consistent and clean hair cut Everytime .Me and my son come here. No loud inappropriate music or sailor talk . I can bring my wife and daughters here and not worry about them feeling uncomfortable .The haircuts are clean and exactly what I asked for Everytime . That Asian dude don’t know what a low fade is bro said gettin the back faded was a taper he ain’t even faded the sides and he cut extra on the top when I said only half an inch would not suggest getting a low fade here not worth $19I also do know what a fade and taper are, A taper is reducing the thickness of the hair and a fade is to faint the hair also you cut the right side on the top of my head but not the left so, I’m saying all this cause I care bout my hair and was frustrated bout the “low fade” you gave me .

Worst barber I have ever been too, I got a haircut and asked for a beard lineup and he shaved my whole beard off and then tried to charge me $10 extra for shaving my beard when I never asked for that and then argued with me about it grabbed my sleeves and tried to fight me even after I paid, Don’t ever come here !!
