Bogus charge to my credit card upon return of one-way rental. Despite the fact that I followed everything to a T, returned it cleaner than I got it, and gassed it up less than a mile from the lot. When I called to ask about after-hours return at 7pm on a weeknight, rather than the instructional voice recording that I was expecting, an angry man picked up the phone and gave me the instructions as though a single mistake would end the world.Since Ive read reviews where this shady franchisee has sent people to collections over these made-up penalty charges, I decided to bite the bullet (Congrats! Your business model works!) and vent my frustration online and to corporate.I have another move coming up in a few weeks. Glad I know where not to go for a truck.

Nice try with the “mileage error” that resulted in hundreds of dollars in charges. Your corporate overlords adjusted the “mistake.” Also, the lot looks like a place where a murder would go down.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Did not have the truck we reserved a month prior and told me to leave the store when i got upset. Bunch of idiots who should retire. All of them are way too old to be running a store.

Bad customer service. The dealer was very rude. They gave me a broken truck and didnt accept the return. I called the police and returned the truck. Those guys are very rude. Dont come to this place!

We scheduled our truck pick up carefully to coordinate with movers. 2 days before our reservation Rose called and asked us to pick up early so that she wouldnt have to go into work on a Sunday. After she was unable to arrange a pick up time with us for Saturday we asked to keep our original reservation. She was rude throughout the conversation and then she hung up on us. Seriously, when calling someone to ask them to change the reservation and then being SUPER inflexible on a new pickup time - we had to keep our original time, even though she proceeded to make insulting and snide comments about my lack of human decency afterwards.We arrived on Sunday to pick up our truck to find a handwritten sign on the door saying they were closed today. With 30 minutes until our movers arrived we had to desperately find another moving company to rent us a truck! Luckily there was a uhaul right down the street, so we quickly went and got another truck from a more professional company without a hitch. Although she tried to completely throw off our moving plans and cost us money with the movers, we made it work in the end.NEVER use this company. She is unprofessional, rude, and completely unreliable. A horrible business and horrible person who thinks other people should change their lives because she doesnt want to go to work for a time she is supposed to be open. I would give her negative stars if I could.

Moving Chicago had a great team of people who worked with me. They made my entire move so much easier and less stressful. They worked efficiently and professionally and made sure that everything was packed correctly. I own a lot of paintings so I wanted to make sure it was safe to be moved and at the end of it all, nothing was damaged and the overall costs were less than estimate

Buyer Beware of the Bait & Switch technique this facility uses. I made a reservation through Budget on Jan 9th to pick up a truck on Feb 28th. I was to pick it up at 3pm, and return it before 3pm on the 29th. The reservation clearly shows a one-day rental fee (see photo). Just a few days before the pickup - on Feb 25th - an associate from the facility calls to confirm we will pick it up. Thats when we find out that we will be charged 2 days. I contested the additional day. This facility rents per calendar day, I was told, and when I objected to the discrepancy with the reservation, that Each facility makes its own rules.....this is how we make money. Fortunately I was able to get a rental through Penske - and I ended up saving about 40% of the cost. I dont know how Moving Chicago LLC remains in business.

Totally incompetent location. Called me less than 24 hours before my pick up time saying no trucks are available! This is despite me calling 2 days in advance to ensure a truck will be available. HOW IS THIS OK???? I should have read the reviews and realized this is an ongoing problem with them since at least 2015. HORRENDOUS. Shame on you people.

An absolutely horrible company. I reserved a truck for TOMORROW weeks ago and they call me just now (the day before Im supposed to move) that they wont have my truck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR
