All people here are so nice, they treat you as a family and they care a lot big time! You cannot go wrong with any dentist here or hygienist. They are all really good and oh so nice. Guaranteed here you will be taken cared of.

I like this place, it’s very different from other dentist offices. From the outside and it’s brand it looks like a regular chain of dental offices but the experience is much different.I avoided going to the dentist for years because I do not like, nor was I asked, all of the stuff dentists want to put in your mouth while working in there. I often felt like I was suffocating and I was not in control of my own breathing and mouth.At Dental Works you have options, they communicate with what feels comfortable and what’s not comfortable.Everyone at Dental Works was very nice and very personable.

WORST ORTHODONTIST EVER. AVOID AT ALL COST. I began ortho treatment last year at your company. Shortly into my treatment, the decision was made to get new impressions because the current treatment plan was insufficient. I was about 7 months into my treatment when I was on my last trays and was scheduled to go in on July 7th to get new impressions. Early on July 7th, I received a call saying that they had to reschedule because my ortho recently quit. At my next appointment on July 21st, I had new impressions taken and was told it would be 4 – 6 weeks til I got new trays and had new treatment done. I was confused as to why this was scheduled so late in my treatment and not before I was on my last tray, but I just let it go. My appointment for new attachments and trays was now scheduled for August 25th. On August 24th I received another cancelation call because there was some issue with my insurance. I had to call back multiple times in the next week and was given the run around.I finally spoke with someone two weeks ago and they said everything was processed and I should be hearing back soon. Weeks passed and I still heard no update. I finally spoke to the Ortho manager today and she told me the issue was because my new ortho went on Maternity leave 3 weeks ago and never submitted my treatment plan and now I was going to have to wait another 4 weeks for the trays to be ordered. It has been about 3 months that my treatment has been delayed now and I requested to stop treatment because it is getting insane. This company is absolutely incompetent and could not care less about their patients.

I had several treatments in this dental place and is the disappointing and horrible place for getting treated as I need to run behind my money since they don’t understand how a insurance claim works. As I had completed the treatment, I had my full payment paid on the day of my treatment. As days passed I started receiving statement for paying amount to dentist and I was shocked and concerned as my insurance had covered everything. The insurance agent explained that the dental works have submitted multiple claims and duplicate claims and had requested them to re-submit . Even after letting them know that they did a blunder, they did not submit the claim properly. When I informed them about the issue in claim, they did not even bother to respond properly . I had raised my concern with insurance and they started investigating and found they have overall charged me more than 500 dollars. The complete estimated amount to be reimbursed was provided to both the parties myself and dental works and when I checked for my money they gave excuses for my refund and provided partial refund . As the investigation was done totally from the insurance and the dental works, I was expecting to be legitimate. I had to go run behind multiple times to explain dental works they did issue while submitting claim which literally took a hell lot of time to get a refund which is even partial as they gave reasons for rest of my money has been utilized by some other treatment. Dental works themselves provided the data to the insurance department for investigation and information collected and calculated was published to both parties myself and dental works which came to the conclusion that they owe me a refund. Even though I provided my input about how much dental works owe me, the insurance department did their complete insurance investigation which was carried out between dental works and insurance.Overall if a person has lot of time to go back and forth with Dental works to get their insurance claimed, they should have lot of patience as it took over 5 months to get my partial refund for my treatment which they had charged more than the expected amount. Zero stars I wish I can give in google reviews however no option to provide my input. 0 stars .

Hygienist shared lots of interesting information and explanations of how bacteria eat the same food as we do—-so don’t leave even the smallest bit of food in mouth!. Bacteria leave acid which recedes the gum & deteriorates teeth. Importance of flossing & what it does. Keep flossing even if see blood or gums are sore. Those gums need to get in healthy condition and we need to push them to be healthier. Flossing deeper and with some force is akin to doing sit-ups for your gums. Showed me how to do it, and gave lots of advice on options for my dental issues and products that keep you teeth healthy.

I so enjoyed returning to Dental Works and being treated by Dr. Patel. He is a wonderful dentist with great bedside manner and gentleness. I also Thank Kim forI did not think I would be able to afford the treatment and when I called for pricing they did not accept my current insurance but M. Kim recommended an insurance they offered which was very affordable and my dental needs will be met with great care and professionalism. God Bless this team.

Dental works is by far the best dental office in the city. Low stress environment with awesome doctors. Dr. Patel is a true professional and makes you feel incredibly comfortable and calm.

This dentist was fine when it came to basic cleanings and hygiene. However, they pushed the idea of removing and sculpting old caps that I have on my four front incisors which involved heavily shaving down my teeth. In hindsight I should have gone to a reputable periodontist but this dentist insisted it was no big deal and they’d make them look perfect.First I got my teeth bleached which was done incorrectly and resulted in my gums turning white and not healing properly. After that, they filed down my teeth (way too far as I’d later be told by a proper periodontist) and gave me temporary caps. I came back and they numbed up my mouth in order to remove the temps and add in the individual lab designed caps. These were put on and I was told to hold all four of them in by myself, take a look in the mirror and tell them if they looked and felt alright. I was skeptical not being able to feel them at the time but the dentist insisted they looked good and were perfected by the lab through the molds. They were permanently cemented in. I would later find out from a proper periodontist that one should NEVER have caps cemented in without trying them for a few days/weeks and ESPECIALLY not evaluate while your entire face is numb and your gums are still bleeding.Almost immediately after the numbing wore off I realized that these incisors came out way to far and I had a new lisp. I told the dentist and they got me in and had to remove them again. This process was nearly the same as the first time because they permanently cemented them in without proper review. More gum damage ensued from this and we did the whole process again.After finally fleeting decent incisor caps, my gums were a mess and so receded that they wouldn’t cover my teeth. They told me it would take time to heal, during which I tried all kinds of hygiene measures including oil pulling with no results. My gums were permanently receded for a year. The doctor referred me to a periodontist they’d worked with and the periodontist said that the margins (where my original teeth nubs aligned with the caps) were larger than they should be and that the only thing that could be done was surgical.Here I am years later at this point and it’s cost me $9,000 to fix the damage this original dentist playing periodontist has done. I would not subscribe to any non dental hygiene specific advice or service from this dentist.

They really advised me the best regarding my insurance plan and gave cost transparency.Dr. Patel took is time to explain me what was going on and what he is going to do. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY UPSELL AND HAVE HIGHER RATES!Please do not go here, save your money. Here was my experience:- They did not notify me that my appointment was cancelled until after I arrived into the office.- When I finally had an appointment, they said it would be unethical to do a normal cleaning and suggested I spend roughly $500 to have a deep cleaning with a laser.- When I said that was way too much for out of pocket about 5 times, they finally offered another treatment plan.- Desk receptionist has very poor communication skills, I had to ask multiple times for my treatment plan. When they sent it over, they kept forgetting to attach the document.- Rushed visit and made me feel like my teeth were about to fall out.- Charged me a covid fee (which another dentist said is not a thing)- Went to another dentist, Presidential Dental Associates, this is the place you want to go. The dentist has 3 times the experience, better rates and more qualified office team. Their treatment plan was much more affordable and realistic.I knew something was off when I continued to read similar reviews. This place seriously has almost double the rate, look on your dental insurance plan to view the out of pocket rates. This is sleazy, especially during a pandemic. The reason they are pushing for more work than you need at twice the normal rate is because they are a corporate dental office, meaning they need to reach a certain quota in order to keep their locations open.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

FINALLY! I found a dentist I can trust and who treats me as a friend. And btw, I have never flossed but they have motivated me to begin by challenging me with a scorecard of sorts regarding the health of my teeth and gums. I like getting good grades. :)

This practice refuses to accept patients with Cigna HMO yet they are contracted with Cigna to do so. Very misleading.

Very kind and high quality dentists and dental associates with very poor customer service. I literally cannot get ahold of the office just to schedule an appointment or ask a question. I tried calling right before I left this review because I have a question associated with a charge that doesnt make sense, and they did not answer the phone, and theres no voicemail, and I emailed them and called them 5+ times the past few weeks with no response. I did receive a nice bill in the mail though. I would recommend going to another dentistry that you can actually get ahold of.

I had a rescheduled appointment for July 13, 2020 in the morning that was confirmed by a human being (and later via automated email and text) weeks before and the office was closed when I went downtown for the appointment. When I called two different Dentalworks offices no one was there to pick up the phone. A simple email or text that the office was still closed would have been perfect, but the lack of communication was very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

Took a year to get an appt with covid. Got a filling and theres too much space between my teeth now and its a real nuisance. I dont have confidence in them to fix it if I go back, I think Ill find another dentist.Didnt have any problems with standard cleanings I will say

The receptionist, dental assistant, and dentist were all knowledgeable and accommodating. I was worried about the cost, but was given a lot of transparency regarding what was covered from by insurance and what I had to pay out-of-pocket.The dentist walked me through every step of the process, stopped to answer questions at several points, and gave me advice on treatments based on what she has seen in other patients. Very knowledgeable and will def. be returning.

Staff are nice, helpful, and attentive to my needs. As dental offices go, it is clean and the equipment is up to date.

I went to this place and they told me the price for my service and I paid the full amount. I didn’t expect that they mail me a $2702.5 bill later. I called them and the women have a really bad attitude. She threatened me that if I didn’t pay my bill, they would put this on my credit record. But if I knew that I would be billed this much, I won’t do my fillings in the first place. I believe I was fooled by this dentistry. Don’t go there if you don’t have at least $3000 in the bank for them to run.

I am so disappointed with DentalWorks service during the social distancing order. They closed down without advising Invisalign patients whose aligners are completely paid in full. They are not checking messages, they are not answering emails. They have not provided their customers with any recommendations or instructions on what to do in case of emergency. The fact that I have 2 aligners left and cannot reach anyone is unprofessional. Other service provides have found a way not to leave customers hanging and DentalWorks didnt even try. A phone call does not violate social distancing. Please advise your customers or you wont have any once this situation is behind us.

An appointment with the dentist can be horrifying, but the expertise of my dentist, Dr. Patel and the hygienist make a dental procedure as comfortable as possible. Ive been going to this location for years. Genuinely, they display their concern for my oral health.

Completely lacking communication for the last several months. After emailing about reopening, I called multiple times and left voicemails to confirm my July cleaning and x-rays which I scheduled in JANUARY. Absolutely no response, I emailed multiple times as well and requested at least three appointments WITH NO RESPONSE. Ridiculous disrespect for their patients and their offices are often mysteriously closed on random days EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.

No one likes going to the dentist, but DentalWorks makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Patel fixed my teeth, but Emily at the front desk put my mind at ease. She had to file multiple insurance claims, fit several appointments into my schedule, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. By far the most professional and courteous person I have ever seen in dentistry or healthcare. Thank you Emily for taking the worry and confusion out of the whole process. You are the best.

DentalWorks is an absolutely wonderful practice! The highlight is my dentist, Dr. Rita Shah. She is incredibly personable, professional, and I feel so safe in her care. She is honest and recommended a great (and more cost-effective alternative) to fix my crown than my other dentists did. She completed the procedure very efficiently, professionally, and comfortably. I couldnt recommend her (or DentalWorks) more. All of the staff and super friendly and accommodating. Five stars!

My Experience here is great. Above that I’m a new patient. My original dentist is no longer available so I went looking for a new one close to work where I won’t have to leave work early and lose pay. The staff is amazing and beyond helpful and very forward on what is needed for me to take care of myself.UPDATE - I don’t publish feedback unless I mean it. So here it goes.They are still the best! 💪🤗❤️ I was out for a year traveling for work and by keeping up with my health and using the necessary tools to stay healthy; as suggested, I was happy to come back for my check up and cleaning.The staff, as always, is Fabulous and the communication with patients is top notch! I recommend anyone who wants a new dentist! I literally now look forward to the dentist... and not many people say that!

Everything about my appointment was great. I was nervous finding a new orthodontist since moving to the city. Dr. Kellogg was friendly, informative and swiftly helped fix a retainer issue. I couldnt have asked for a smoother appointment and will definitely see Dr. Kellogg for future needs. The front desk staff was also very attentive and proactively checked on my insurance on my behalf. Great service, location and doctors/staff!

I’ve been going to this location for several years now, and the staff is phenomenal. They are probably the most kind and caring staff I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Shah is careful and gentle when it comes to her patients. I’ve recommended this location to so many family, friends, etc. I always have a great experience every appointment.

Went there for a regular cleaning appointment at 8 (first appointment of the morning). Made me wait 20 minutes. Its not that they had patients lined up. I was the only one at that time. To make it worse, the dental assistant left me lying in a flat position for 10 minutes to go find the Dentist. A regular cleaning shouldnt be this painful.

Was looking for a new dentist and stumbled upon a great place. They are taking great care of me and I love how they are able to lay out expected cost for upcoming appointments ahead of time. With dentistry being so expensive this was a pleasant experience. I am looking forward to my upcoming visits with them. Great hours and flexibility also. I work near by them so that is gonna help me tremendously with appointments.

My dental assistant was extremely kind and conversational, explaining everything as she went as well. The dentist who worked on my teeth was kind as well, and very reassuring and explanatory about his process and helping me understand why each step was needed, and making sure I was completely comfortable before beginning to replace my filling.

Dr. Patel was amazing. I am deathly afraid of needles and Dr. Patel made me super comfortable and calm. I highly recommend him. The office was super convenient if you work anywhere downtown and I got two fillings done in record time! Extremely easy if you only get an hour for lunch.

Today was great because I finally left a dentist office with no pain. Mayela Martinez was my hygienist today and she was amazing. She did my deep cleaning and it went extremely well. She was very gentle and I can tell she has been doing this for awhile. I’m excited for future appointments with her as my hygienist! Also the staff at dental works is great.

They are cheating and just care about money and want to get more from every patient! Dont trust those five stars. I had an urgent toothache to visit the office. The nurse took x-ray for me without informing me that this X-ray machine is not covered by my insurance. The doctor SIDDRA IQBAL looked at my x-ray result for like 2 mins. Asked me to take some medicine and come back. The front desk presented the price I need pay for tooth extraction, but I declined the follow up service. At the moment, I asked how much I should pay for todays visit? She said nothing, but then I received 90 dollars bill from my insurance claim form. It is absurd to get the inconsistent answer from what the staff said and what is from the bill!

Ive been their client for about 3 years now and absolutely love the service. The location is great plus they are sometimes open on Saturdays. They are always ready for me at the time of my appointment, have never had to wait for half an hour in the lobby like in some other places. Receptionists and doctors are always very nice and helpful. I absolutely trust all the doctors as they are doing a good job and always give me good advises on how to maintain healthy teeth.Have been recommending them to all my friends and all my family members go there too now.

The actual visit was OK, seemed like some of the dental hygienist were new to the job. Taking x-rays and getting the dentist consultation took a while, they were really busy.

This DentalWorks was recommended to me by a co-worker due to its convenient location. Everyone I have interacted with has been helpful and welcoming (with the exception of one receptionist).There was an issue during my first treatment which they made sure to acknowledge during each subsequent visit until the situation was resolved.Their offices are clean and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I rated them 4/5 because everyone can always be better.

I took my son to get an exam, X-ray and to get a tooth extracted. The staff was polite. The dentist remembered him and took very good care of him. His assistant was also reassuring to my son and talked him through the procedure. The staff followed up with next steps and said they would check on my son in the upcoming days.

Calling in the same day for a very painful extraction, they were able to schedule me and Dr. Shah, DDS has gained a new patient. I had a phobia w dentists after a very bad experience a few years ago. She calmly told me they would do everything to try and extract, which thankfully she did! I will be going back for future dental work.

Orthodontist changed every month so if your person like me who likes to get comfortable this is not the office for you they make changes so often you think you called the wrong place. I’ve had my braces on for 21 months I was told it would be 12-18months if treatment but with all the changes. Every month it’s a new treatment plan. Please be advised that the orthodontist is only in office twice a month on Wednesday so if you choose this office I hope you can make an appointment on Wednesday During the day.

I told them I just wanted a basic cleaning. I told the front desk when I checked in and I told dental hygienist before they started working on my teeth. Im a contract worker and thats all I can afford. Instead they billed me on what the doctor recommend. Completely ignored my request. Ill do Groupon before this place.

I had a few scheduling oops, however it was a quick and painless experience. The evaluation was great and everything I needed was explained and was given to me in writing with pricing. Surprisingly, getting everything done was quick with minimal pain. Also, no waiting allowed me to make all my appointments during my lunch hour!! Love this place

Dr. Shah is the best. The hygienists and front desk personnel are all great as well. Started my Invisalign treatment there about 6 months ago. I’ve also been going there for my routine cleanings. I highly recommend them.

Treatment is well done and with a clear explanation of why - you are not forced to have procedures which you do not need! Follow us great. I have been going here for about 10 yrs and they are so good and professional. I have terrible teeth due to a health condition.They do not make you feel bad if you havent taken good care of your teeth, they will work with you n your budget and not talk down to you!!Patrick breaks down the finances so its not overwhelming and DR Patel is patient and wants you to like what you got: 6 crowns and he adjusted the color PERFECTLY then my latest work is a partial for an eye tooth - added my missing back teeth as a bonus!! Favorite Dental Office! Everyone is so nice and sweet. It is a pleasure to go there every time. Dr. Iqbal is amazing!

On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. However, my husband and I went in for a routine cleaning and upon arrival, learned it was required I first get an exam and then come in on a separate day for the cleaning. Fine. When they explained the cleaning, they advised they also required a special mouthwash at their office that costs $15 per corner for a total of $60 out of pocket as they also said no ones insurance covers this mandatory mouthwash.Once the exam was over, the dentist, Raunak Patel, explained that my has periodontal disease which would require extensive cleaning and several more extensive cleaning every three months. For the initial cleaning he was quoted at $700 after insurance plus an additional $200 or so every three months, again after insurance. Mind you, with the exception of a few cavities, he has never had any issues with his teeth.I also went to this dentist and saw Rita Shah. Shah advised I had some cavities and also advised fillings need to be replaced every 5-8 years. As such, Shah told me I needed a total of 11 fillings at an approximate cost of $2000 after insurance. Ridiculous.We went to a dentist in Woodridge for a second opinion and it turned out my teeth were fine and my husband does not have periodontal disease. I only needed three fillings for a total out of pocket cost of $170.This office is simply in the Loop and attempting to take advantage of their patients coming in and charging exorbitant prices on services that are not needed. Patients need to beware their shady business practices and if they are diagnosed with something that doesnt seem right, it never hurts to get a second opinion.

I had extreme dental anxiety since I was a small child until a friend recommended Dental Works. They are outstanding. They worked with me and over time I started trusting them. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Iqbal and the team literally saved my smile a few years ago, at a time when the dentist was the last place I wanted to be going. The whole staff was incredibly patient with me in explaining every little detailand worked with me on a plan to have all of the necessary work done. I no longer dread going to the dentist and the staff continues to be helpful and kind every time I visit. This was my first visit, it was an emergency and they took me the same day. Everyone was very nice and understanding of my situation. They were knowledgeable and got me out quick which was nice, as I had to return to work.

Office Staff, Dentists ( Ive seen 3 ) & Assistants are superior!! Ive been going for about 10 years. They put you at ease & thoroughly explain all options. And they do everything to help with insurance & payment plans. All my personal needs were met or exceeded!! Appointments were on time, never left waiting. When the hour was up, I was there for another 1/2 hour to complete the process. Was not rushed!! Never had a bad visit.

Overly expensive place with unreasonable appointment requirements and arrogant dental hygienists who think a bit too highly of themselves. While I liked the dentist I saw at this place, I have had bad experiences with two different dental hygienists here, which was enough to make me decide to bring my business somewhere else.One of them cancelled an appointment without letting me know in advance, and I had to find that out AFTER I made a trip to their office. It was very disrespectful of my time, and there is simply no excuse for it.The other one refused to see me for my appointment when I missed their appointment window by THREE MINUTES due to heavy traffic on the day. THREE MINUTES. And asked me to reschedule another appointment.Well nope. They are not the only dentist office in town.

Professional, quick, flexible. They do a good job with cleanings, prescreenings, and explaining the importance of good dental hygiene. I luckily havent had to get any major work done with them so I cant comment on fillings or other procedures.

Dr Shah is great! Im a nervous patient and she is so nice and calm. Everything is explained very clearly and she really works to relieve my anxietyThe office staff is equally as wonderful. I never have issues getting an appointment and they file everything thru my insurance to make it easy. Years ago I didnt have insurance and they really worked with me to get the most bang for my buck. Highly recommend!

I love this place. Hands down, THE best dental office Ive ever been to. The service is friendly. Meaning that the smiles are genuine and they are in fact helpful with whatever questions and concerns you may possess. I originally came for a consultation for braces last year and one of the dental assistants (Sorry cant think of your name!) said We can get started right now. It was spur of the moment but I was sold!! Every time I come here I am happy when I leave. Great service and they NEVER have you waiting long less than 5 minutes for me usually. Highly highly recommended dental facility for whatever services you need. (Prices are too bad either! My braces are Uber expensive but affordable!!) Thanks again DentalWorks!

I struggled to find the right dentist for a year before I found DentalWorks in the loop. I was hesitant to trust just any office to handle my root canal and tooth extraction. Dr. Shah is amazing. Shes kind and patient when explaining treatment options. The staff is lovely too. I was terrified of dentists. Terrified. Now, I feel I have an office that encourages me to take care of my dental hygiene - something I had neglected for years because I couldnt find someone I trusted. Great job guys!

I worked with Dr. Iqbal and her team. Everyone from the receptionist, to the dental hygentist to Dr. Iqbal herself were fantastic to work with. They were friendly, informative and were willing to go as granular or as high level as I wanted when explaining every process. Warning to new patients they will NOT allow you to schedule a cleaning on your first visit. You first have to come in for a consultation appointment and x-rays and then come back a second time for just a cleaning. Ive never had a dentist before that insisted on doing two separate visits for standard preventative care.

Doctors Shah and Patel are excellent. Always and consistently patient, pleasant and very thorough. Support staff is hit or miss; depends who you get and what sort of a mood they are in.

Ive gone here a few times and they do a pretty good job. Ive gotten fillings, deep cleanings, and regular cleanings and I do see good results. The only thing that has concerned me (at times) is that my dental hygienist has seemed a bit rushed to finish the job. At times I have felt him pull and tug a little harder, during my deep cleanings I had to ask him to wait before he began to let the anesthesia settle in (he wanted to start like 3 minutes after he put it on), it could also be that I have sensitive gums. Still, theyve done well with me. Their office is pretty clean and tidy.One thing to definitely note is that if you have dental insurance (and depending on what you have) they will bill you an estimate of how much you owe and how much your insurance will cover. In my case, after processing my insurance and paying their estimate, I got a bill in the mail from Dental Works detailing the amount (for each visit) that I still owed, which my insurance did not cover.

Very efficient and always friendly! I love that they dont try to upswell you. They give you the information and options you need to know to make decisions for yourself. Totally recommend!
