I really enjoyed my experience getting my nails done at the nails spot!! It was my first time getting apres gel nails done and Lana did a fantastic job. My nails look great and I get compliments on them all the time! I also love that the nails spot is located right next to Costco in a really convenient plaza with parking. I highly recommend booking with Lana!

I have never stepped foot into a nail salon before until visiting The Nails Spot. The staff were all super nice, professional, and knew what they were doing.Lana did an amazing job for my first manicure experience and Im obsessed! Will definitely be going back again in the future for my nails.

Bruce did an amazing job on my nails. I have never gotten acrylic and was nervous but the experience was safe fast and the results were better than the picture I asked him to replicate. I was only getting them done once to try it out but I fell in love with how beautiful strong and sturdy the nails were I am going to keep getting refills. Thanks again Bruce for making my nails engagement photo worthy 🔥💓💓

Tried this place for the first time based on the decent reviews and what seemed like a great deal for a pedi and no chip mani. It wasnt even worth the $60 I paid. Unfortunately left with some of the sloppiest polishing Ive ever had--uneven edges and layers on both my toes and fingers. My fingers were even worse at first and I pointed out the uneven edges to Andrea, she asked oh, do you want me to fix them? Even that was a sloppy attempt. I wont be back

I’ve been dying to find a good nail place since I moved to chicago & I finally found it!! Tako turned my sad nails to perfection. I normally do acrylic but tried something new, beyond pleased.

I love this place! Saw Bruce’s work on Instagram, decided to try, and fell in love! My nails last for so long when I come here. I haven’t found a place that does a better job. I’m usually very particular about my nail shape (I’ve done a few here), and he did a lovely job, listened to my ideas, and made sure it was perfect before I left. Side note- I saw another girl next to me one time that didn’t like her nails at the end, and they were more than willing to help her until she loved them. Go here! It’s worth it. Everyone here is so nice and chill!

Bruce and Tako take pride in their work and are always trying to refine their craft, while keeping their prices consistent. Their shop is a little far from my house, but I dont mind the drive because they are that awesome.

The best no chip that I’ve ever had. Definitely will come back. Staff was very friendly. I don’t know the name of the girl who did my nails ( I guess she is the only one female there), but she was very professional and nice.

Took my girlfriend here to get her nails done and they started to chip just after 6 days. She went back to get her nails fix again, the next day another nail chipped. Please dont waste your time or money here. Theres so many other better places.

Taco did an amazing job on my nails! The nail techs here are very careful and detailed and they don’t rush through their work like a lot of salons I’ve been to.And when one of my acrylics broke off the next day (not the shops fault!!) they took me in with no appointment and fixed it free of charge :)

Since day 1 Bruce and Taco have taken good care of my nails. Always listening to my needs and willing to bring my ideas to life! Also they have taken on the challenge of saving my nails that were ruined by other salons. Forever thankful!!

HEAVEN SENT!!! Bruce is truly AMAZING!! I was having a bad week and needed some Mommy time, so I figured why not get a mani-pedi. Im a HUGE germaphobe but Bruce made sure to calm all my concerns and reassured me of his safety procedures. He went above and beyond to video me the precautions he takes to ensure everyones safety. He did such an amazing job and even came in early so I would be his only customer. (I tipped him very well for this even though he insisted that it wasnt necessary) Very kind, very sweet and all around great experience. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

I love TNS. Bruce and his team always deliver when it comes to clean, perfected nails. My nails always come out exactly how I want, if not better. They pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. They are very accommodating and easy going. No complaints. 10/10.

The WORST customer service! Did not greet me, but ordered me to sit in a chair by the door (while I waited for him to finish another client); even though I was on time for my appointment, I patiently waited. When he was ready to begin, he seemed bothered that I had questions for him (being that it was my first time there.) I explained the nail shape I wanted and what I did not want; he nodded his head and then ignored me and carried on a personal conversation with his co-worker, which would have been fine with me if it wasn’t for the fact that when I asked to see a polish on the shelf (which had no name and wasn’t labeled by number) behind him, he refused to look in the direction I was pointing and insisted on repeatedly asking me to TELL (not point to) him “which polish” I wanted.I remained composed and let him finish the job. The nail shape was not what I requested and did not look like the picture I showed him. I did realize the shape was off when he started clipping the nail tips, but he did not ask for my confirmation before he began cutting. I did not want to have him start over; I wanted to be done with him and leave as soon as possible. I knew when he was finished because the only thing he said to me was the amount I owed him. I paid. He never used the words please or thank you for the entire time I was in that shop. Just RUDE.

Bruce is my go-to guy for full sets and no chip. My polish lasts upwards of 3 weeks, he does a terrific job.MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE! I see a lot of people come in frustrated because they can’t be seen immediately, when their policy is very clear online that making an appointment is recommended. They’re busy because they’re the best!

Not a place to get pampered. Owner is rude and unprofessional. Appointments mean nothing, you may be asked to wait an hour even after booking online. I give it two stars because my nail tech Tammy was extremely nice and did a nice job. However, the vibe of the place is extremely negative, I had to go elsewhere. Would not recommend - there are much better options elsewhere. The owners reply is indicative of his issues with the truth. I have been to this establishment 3 times. The first as a drop-in, the second time I came in on time and waited for 20 minutes while they finished another client. The 3rd time I was 15 minutes late due to a traffic accident on I-90 and the owner informed me that he had called me the day before to inform me that my appointment was cancelled. This guy has issues - people skills are terrible as well as his business practices. Tammy does an amazing mani/pedi but it is not worth the unprofessionalism and generally negative vibe of the place. And its certainly not worth the time having to write a negative review and respond to these blatant untruths. I do wish them well and hope the owner eventually learns the value of good customer service.

I really fell in love with the way my nails were done, they where slayed to perfection. However I just didn’t get the vibes I was expecting. I wish my nail technician was a little more enthusiastic about doing my nails if so this would definitely be five stars.....

Taco did my nails and he did a great job. But from the moment I walked in, they made you feel like you were inconveniencing them. On top of that, I heard them give different prices for the same service to different people who called or walked in, and would openly talk trash on customers. If you don’t mind poor customer service and feeling like a nuisance for services you are paying for, then I would come here, because they do a good job. But if you are looking for a comfortable environment to relax in, I would look somewhere else.

Awful customer service!!!

I went there and got my feet && brows done. They took off to much on one (left) and blamed me for it. Then the lady told me I can draw it on & shade it in. I had to pay the full fee & couldnt even get an apology. She did a good job on my feet though. If I could Id give them half a star.

The atmosphere was very chill but there wasn’t near enough staff. My friend and I had to keep switching spots cause not everyone knew how to do everything. My dip nails are so uneven and fat, they look terrible and they barely did any cuticle work. They kept complaining about the bad reviews they get which are clearly for good reason. Overall, bad experience. I do not recommend.

I’ve been coming to The Nail Spot for over a year and they do such an amazing job! All the nail technicians take their time and don’t rush to finish your nails. Their no chip always last me over 3 weeks! I absolutely cannot go anywhere else.

I thought this place was just okay. The scheduling is not very professional or organized. When you call they dont even look at a schedule book.My manicure a month ago was pretty good, but I did chrome and she had to reapply it 3 times before it worked so the manicure took a really long time.The pedicure today, though, left a lot to be desired. They didnt do any cuticle treatment at all, no reduction of ingrown nails... none of the stuff I would expect from a deluxe spa pedicure. We paid $87 for 2 pedicures, one was a no color, the other a gel color and there was literally no massage, no trimming, and literally nothing special besides some weird packet lotion she applied after. Felt like a rip off.

This place is amazing. Staff are friendly. Jenny does anExcellent job. Though she is quiet, but she is sweet and knows what the customers want. Once you get to knowHer, she will talk!I highly recommend The Nails Spot!

I come here mostly for the manicure and deluxe pedicure. The no chip lasts a long time. Great selection of colors. Free parking in a plaza.

Very impressed with staff there

Been here twice and disappointed both times. The first time was shortly after they opened, and the nail tech sliced my finger 3 times with the nail file (like a paper cut but so much worse!). There was blood all 3 times and it took forever for the wounds to heal. It stung to wash my hands for weeks. I also wanted glitter on my toes but he forgot, so hastily did it at the end, on top of the top coat. Of course they were already chipping the next day.I went back again a few months later figuring they just needed to work out the kinks from their opening and while nothing went wrong like the first time, they were all just unfriendly and cold. When the woman finished my nails she just got up and left to go watch TV from one of the pedicure chairs, along with the other 2 employees who had nothing to do. I accidently touched one of my nails and it smudged, but it wasnt worth asking her to fix it, I felt too awkward like Id be interrupting her break time.Theres just too many other, better nail places in the city to keep going back here.

This is the best nail salon I have found in Chicago. The staff, particularly Bruce (acrylics) and Tako(gel mani, pedicures), are so obsessively detailed about their work I can’t go anywhere else. It just doesn’t compare. People stop me and ask me about my nails constantly. They’re always perfectly shaped, no chips, and they grow out looking better and better.

While my nails looked great, Taco and Bruce were both making fun of clients openly, being condescending, and being quite rude. I felt incredibly uncomfortable getting my nails done and while I would go back because of the quality of work, I felt so uncomfortable that I don’t think I will go back. I felt as though I was a bother coming into their facility.I would recommend this place to someone who does not care about the atmosphere.

So...this is my 4th time coming here....my last three times were amazing 🤩 Bruce did my nails & taco did my feet....& i tipped them both generously every time....Today taco did my mani/pedi....he was rushing..snatching & being aggressive like it was a salon full of people..& his vibe was different... i asked him was he okay & what was going on...he says “as long as your nails & feet look good that’s all that matters, i can’t sit & hangout” REALLY?!! 🤨 It’s just simple conversation or being just a little more gentle in the way u handle your client...I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or not, but that’s no way to treat someone 😏😒
