Worst place to try and send money. Rude tellers. Reminds me of the Philippines. Lazy enough to be rude to the customer and has the audacity to look busy and not wanting to be bothered! I wonder why they are even getting paid for?I went with my disabled mom and was trying to send money back to her hometown. They wouldn’t accept my DL because it was out of state. I told a filipina friend this and she was shocked because she uses an out of state ID too and has had no problem sending.
If I could give them 0 star, I would. Please do your self a favor and avoid dealing with the older lady on the window. Shes condescending, rude, unprofessional and sarcastic. I asked if its okay to use the account number and routing number of my bank as a source of fund to send money. She kept on insisting that I need to sign her form. She even explained how I need to sign the form like Im a 2nd grader when in the first place, that is not what I was asking. I confusedly just took the form she was insisting for me to sign, then I told her look, we dont have cash right here and I am sending $3,000. Then her face changed and got even more dismissive and condescending, saying that they needed cash, check or a card. MB Financial just merged with 53 Bank and we do not have an ATM card from 53 bank yet, and the banks are closed for over-the-counter withdrawal due to Memorial Day. We are both Filipino and I talked to her in our vernacular language politely, with a very basic question. She just jumped into conclusion and just werent willing to listen. It was just 10 AM and shes already showing signs of disgust and hatred for her job. I feel sad that Filipinos who are supposed to be hospitable and friendly, are the ones whod let me experience such bad encounter. I will use their service still, but will not talk to that old lady anymore. She should be fired.
